I love seeing a younger and more brutal Batman. One who doesn’t fight to bring Gotham hope and save people but to take his anger out for what was taken from him
I like that too, but only if he has character development and realizes he can be a symbol of hope for the innocent, instead of vengeance. That's why I liked The Batman so much, it was the only live action Batman movie to show Bruces true struggles, and how at the end he realised helping innocents would go a lot farther than just beating up random criminals in an alley.

There's one scene that's a little like this. When Bruce says "If i can't changes things here, if I can't have an effect, then I don't care what happens to me"
What I actually love about this scene is that both are right, and both are wrong in their own ways. Bruce ISN’T a hardened vigilante, right now he’s in the early years of his career and is getting too big for his britches. He IS the reason why a lot of criminals are becoming too scared to do anything, he’s is vengeance, he is the one who will punish those who hurt the innocent. But ultimately, he IS way over his head. He almost DIES that night from being poisoned cause he thought he was so much better than anything the assassins could be. And of course, Bane figures out who he is, and almost destroys the one thing he has left. Alfred. This game is so underrated. Having Bruce be right and wrong, allowing him to fail and learn from it, adds so much to this take on him.
It's not stated or shown, but I bet Bruce took steps to not be so easily overcome by the likes of Bane or Copperhead in the future. In Asylum, Batman had to be boxed in tight places multiple times to be caught in Scarecrow's fear toxin, plus in Arkham Knight he was infected with the Joker disease. And also Joker cleverly fooled Batman by using the same old fake Joker gag that he's seen so many times he wasn't expecting to see again in Arkham City with everything going on. And in City, only Hugo Strange managed to figure out Batman's identity after making probably quite a big psychological profiling against many, many individuals, who could possibly have the funding for Batman's gear. As I recall, Bane has Batman's tracker in his lair, which he probably used to deduct that Batman and Bruce Wayne are the same, so Bruce probably made steps that all the tech can be lead to nowhere and certainly can't have Coleman Reese sniffing around in the WayneTech archives for Batmobile's schematics. Hell, Batman's not even intimidated by Bane in City, he tells Bane to piss off or he's gonna beat his ass to the ground.
What i loved so much about this is Alfred questioning who Bruce thinks he is. To which, in complete Batman fashion, Bruce has unwavering belief in his own cause and what he is doing. That mixed with his portrayal of anger just establishes this character and his conviction in such a powerful way that avoids exposition
People can say whatever they want about this game but this is an example of good writing Batman and Alfred’s relationship isn’t really good it’s only after Bane nearly kills Alfred that Batman and Alfred’s relationship gets more closer

Arkham Origins will always personally be the my favorite of the Arkham games. The young and raw version of Batman. The Christmas time vibe of the game. Batman facing villains for the first time and not knowing their true motives or what they are. Just so good forever underrated. Even more special knowing that I got this game on Christmas of 2013.

Sonic having beef with Alfred
If Sonic the Hedgehog and Alfred Pennyworth, Batman's loyal butler, had a "beef," it would be an interesting and humorous clash of personalities. Sonic, with his rebellious, high-speed, and carefree attitude, might find Alfred's meticulous and formal demeanor a bit stifling. On the other hand, Alfred might be exasperated by Sonic's impulsiveness and disregard for protocol. The dynamic could lead to some amusing exchanges, with Sonic challenging Alfred's patience and Alfred trying to instill some discipline in the speedy hedgehog.
This is why I love Origins way better than Knight!!!
They really did a disservice to Kevin Conroy by giving him such wooden lines.
I think knight and origins are pretty matched in terms of quality.
When Chris Redfield become a Vigilante
