Great video as always. However, Accenture does Strategy/Management Consulting as well. From Accenture’s perspective, Tech Consulting is actually Technology Strategy for CIO function of the client organisation. Further, consulting firms now focus on VRO (Value Realisation Office) than PMO coz VRO is more strategic in evaluating the effectiveness and ROIs of a project.

Typically another project. Few firms have a specialization in supply chain/operations consulting.

Would impact consulting come under one of these or would it be considered separately? I would like to know more about it.
Consultants are obsessed with impact so it kinds sits under all of these. If you meant development consulting, we can count that largely under policy/development consulting.

Actually I've a Pharmaceutical MBA from India's No. 1 Ranked Institution for the same. But the major doubt which troubles me is that, will leaving my core Pharma. Field since this very beginning of my career for consulting posts at major players, will it backfire in the long run??
P.S. - My college won't be able to provide a handsome package, that's why I'm looking for opportunities on my own.

How did you get to work for Govt of India? And in which all ways can a MBA graduate work with GOI as consultant without taking UPSC CSE route?
I got lucky as GoI reached out to my alma mater St. Stephen's College and my college placement cell reached us all alums. I eventually got lucky in cracking all interviews and shortlists.

@@piyushwalter8524 agree ,cause when I went through the GGI website under the career section ,it did mention that it requires work experience,it somewhere wasnt much favouring towards freshers .
