    I came as a caregiver way back 2008 i left my kids back home and after many years (2015 years) when my kids join me backlog pa. The life is not hard ang ganda ng canada dami opportunities ngayon it sucks na ...mga international students dito noon just come to study and most of them still wanted to go back home. Nasasala pero ngayon khit sino nlng.

    Bili din ako sa RCIC na kausap niya, talagang gagawan ng strategy yung mga gustong makapasok dito (LMIA daw for spouse tapos yung isa naka student, tapos pag apply ng PGWP ng student apply naman ng SOWP yung isa hahaha ang tindi ng pag strategize mo ante). Hinay hinay lang ate Dayanara, you obtained your PR here and you know how hard it is to get a job for locals. Araw araw may nagpapasa samin ng resume na locals matanda bata hoping they’d get a job kahit part time lang kaso wala saming bakante nakuha lahat ng mga kawork ko na mga naka LMIA saka OWP at ako lang PR samin talagang wala na jobs for locals. Basta pera pera lang noh? Isisiksik talaga dito lahat sa Canada. Grabeng mga consultants ito ang lala. Dapat sinasala rin ng Canada mga ganito eh.

      @TheMsWoaini that's why di ako bilib sa mga so-called consultants. You can actually do the application yourself basta you do the research. Di naman komo consultants, may connection yan sa loob or sa immigration office.

    • @TheMsWoaini
      @TheMsWoaini 13 днів тому +1

      @ exactly. Ang pinagkaiba lang talaga ng mga RCIC sa mga consultants sa Pinas e legal sila mag represent ng mga kliyente nila pero kung makabenta ng ‘canadian dream’ akala mo walang firsthand experience kung gaano kahirap na mamuhay dito dahil pinuno nila Canada ng mga temporary visa holders.

      @@TheMsWoaini baka bagohan syang consultant? D kaya? Kasi pag matagal na sya dito she should know or she must known to compare the previous government which is under Kay PM Harper to the current government PM Trudeau. Kaya yan ang Mahirap Nka Depende sila sa mga consultants which is dati eh talagang tumatawag kami sa immigration early before 9am Nka dial na Kami but now more sa website at mga news na dinideliver ng mga vloggers. Karamihan yata sa mga consultants hindi pa mga citizen mga yan kaka PR lng cguro. Ako main concern ko is unahin mga backlogged na kapwa ko caregivers na under Live-In Caregiver Program.

      Agree, and some even bring their children. I mean, WTF you're supposed to study and then bring your entire family? And then complain that you can't get a job to support them? I know some and met some so I know what I'm saying when I say some are even blaming the government for just allowing 20 hours of work! The entitlement!

    It needs to be removed. If you're an international student, you're supposed to study. If you want to bring anyone else then you should be able to support them. And it's only fair wjy? When you come here to migrate, you will be required to have proof of funds, so you can show that you will not be a burden to Canada if you don't get a job. And you're already a permanent resident! So, the government needs to stop giving IS work permits. I'm not against giving IS points so they can later migrate, but they need to do it outside of Canada like everyone else. They need to go through the same stringent process and not jump the line.

    May i ask you advise on the situation of my daughter. She applied for PGWP last June but has not been approved to date. She will be applying for PR tru AIP when it opens this month:
    - does she need to wait for the PGWP before applying for PR or can she proceed without PGWP?
    - As IS, she took Business Management but she's now working in healthcare as Nursing Assistant (she graduated Practical Nursing in the Phils). Is she considered in the shortage job profession even if she took up a non-healthcare course?
    - will her partner on SOWP be affected if this new policy will be promulgated?

      Practical nursing is in demand in the healthcare field right now. Might as well contact the college of nursing here & ask them if her studies will be credited. If yes maybe they can allow her to challenge the exam. If she gets her license as a PN, then it’s better to apply in a government facility or hospital. If she gets hired then it would be easier to get a PR.

      @jadeferraris8229 Nope, they were investing time and money to study in Canada. That's their declaration when they applied for the student visa. So Canada does not owe them a PR. They're being given the privilege to study in Canada. Let's make that clear.
      I got my PR by applying as a legal migrants, no shortcut, we went through the long process and paid the application for permanent resident fee, even the landing fee, etc.
      If you apply to study, then that's your path study, then go back.
      If you want to migrate, then apply as a migrant.
