- Winter season work travel brought me to tornado alley this week - I'd be speaking on disruptive weather at an ag conference in York, Nebraska but an ice storm made travel extra special this week. I've got some stories from the last week or so as well. Come along with me to Nebraska, it's more fun that way.

Enjoyed the heck out of this video 😄. I SO hear you!! I feel like I'm just hangin' on day by day til the sun appears again. My yard is a lake. I guess the thing that can be said for basements, despite the sump pump nightmares, is they provide tornado shelter. I don't have one, or access to one, so storm season gives me the big stress.

I enjoyed this video so much. I feel your pain on the home front. It is a lonely feeling when the appliances aren't working correctly! I've had more than enough drama with sump pumps, water heaters that spew water, & frozen pipes (I'm on the 2nd floor, so water heaters & pipes become my downstairs neighbor's problems, too). I've also spent an extra night out on the road in hopes of a better travel day on the morrow. You done good. Go with the flow (to continue the water theme) & grab some Applebe's & watch college hoops! Glad you got home ok. cheers.
