- SKYDRAMA.NET | Storm Observation Vlog #51 chronicles the April 26th, 2024 tornado outbreak in Nebraska and Iowa. Chasing with @donkeysanddownbursts we documented roughly 10 different tornadoes over the span of nearly 4 hours. Nearly all 67 minutes of this episode is tornado video. A day I'll remember forever.
Thank you for treating these storms with the seriousness and respect they are due. I cringed, literally, as other chasers woo-hoo’d and high fives as people lives were being shattered. Your kind words at the beginning were heartfelt and appreciated..and this documentary was very well made. Thank you again. ❤
Really appreciate that, Teresa.
Yeah, some of the young chasers do that.. I can't stand it unless it's out in open fields, away from homes etc
Yes, I totally agree!
If the tornado is out in an open field that's good but if hits populated areas it makes me cry
Agreed, the foreword message was a good, circumspect inclusion so that the following content isn't misinterpreted.
I had to laugh at the frustrated “come ON!” at the Elkhorn light. That one knows when you’re in a hurry, tornado or not
hahahaha
@@AndrewPritchard The Dodge guy rolling up right in front of you at that light is so relatable.
I'm in southern Wisconsin, hit by the first ever tornado in WI in February. My heart goes out to those who lost loved ones in 2024. I lost trees, house damage, thousands not covered by insurance. I can't imagine adding loss of a loved one to that. My prayers to everyone in 2024 who have been impacted by the weather. 🙏 ❤️
I'm so sorry to hear you're dealing with any damage at all. My home sustained major damage from a hailstorm in 2020 and even the repairs from that felt like a disruption and violation of our safe space, I can't imagine losing more to a tornado. Hope the repairs are going okay.
I remember that day! Here in Sheboygan, we just had a decent storm that night. Mighty unusual weather that night!
2024 is proving to be an extremely active year. I was in Janesville when one blew through there on Sunday (5/26/24). I don't think it caused too much damage because I have not found a lot of info about it.
I'm a simple man. I see a SkyDrama video, and I sit back knowing it's going to be one of the most captivating and well thought videos of the year. Absolutely superb job getting incredible footage of some of the more incredible tornadoes I've seen in years. I have spent an embarrassing amount of hours watching storm chases and tornadoes and weather, and you still manage to blow me away with the quality, the humility and the control you have over what can only be described as a chaotic situation. There's never a measure of panic, only careful consideration, respect to the environment and the people involved, along with incredible footage. Not that I needed more reason, but am given more today with why you are one of my favorite chasers and one of the most respected people in the entire weather community. Thank you for all that you do and all that you've done to make the world and the weather community a better place.
Sheesh, you have just filled up my bucket for the whole week. Thank you so much for those kind words. I can't say everything that you said isn't what I try to bring to the table and the kind of behavior that I try to model each time I'm out there... but I feel very seen by that comment having it called out. Appreciate you. Thanks so much for being along for the journey with me on here.
I have thought about being a storm chaser!
Thank you for showing that chasing as not all fun and games. There are real people with real lives ruined by these monsters. I wish all chasing videos showed the compassion you showed.
Thank you for watching. It's a delicate balance.
😢😢
The thing that breaks my heart is the animals. They are just poor defenseless living beings that can't escape these horrific storms without our help😢😢
That is so true!! My dog hates thunder and I feel so bad when it storms at our house, I know they endure some big trauma with these severe storms.
💟🐄🫎🐃🫏🦬🐴🐐😿
I feel the same way. Especially the pets. Ugh. Breaks my heart!!!
Mine too! They are what I always think about. It’s horrific. And they have no way to escape. They are just stuck! Trapped! It’s heartbreaking And is always what affects me the most 💔😩🥲
The sirens remind me of my childhood. I hate that sound!!!! Erie awful sounds. Terrifying coverage!!!!! 😮😮😮 I can’t believe this was all in one day. Epically frightening!!!
One very long day for residents in the area, for sure!
The multiple vortex tornado is beautiful and terrifying. My heart goes out to those affected 💔
Such professionalism. Thank you for not hooting and hollering like most. (I understand adrenaline can get us caught up in the moment)
Yep, to each their own out there, but thanks for watching!
You guys got some absolutely incredible footage, without screaming and "whooping". I really appreciate that you respect the storms and don't act like "yahoos" that need to punch the core in order to show the story. The **only** thing I would ask is that you respect people's private property as much as you do the storms. The Minden footage was fantastic, but I really hope you had that farmer's permission to be on his property. Here in Oklahoma, we have a huge problem with "storm chasers" that have no problem driving right up on people's private property and tearing it up in the rain and mud. It usually starts out as just one person doing it, then others follow. Anyway, with that said, thank you so much for this upload. Y'all had a crazy day and I really respect your professionalism. Stay safe!
Thanks for treating the event with the somberness it deserves. Tornado passed withing 2.8 miles of my farm northwest of Harlan. I know Minden well, as I sell firewood to a couple people there annually. Their houses survived, but so many others there did not. I get gas at that station in Defiance regularly.
I always feel guilty watching the storm outbreaks. On one hand, tornadoes are beautiful. Their sheer power and mystery captivates you. On the other, I am VERY aware that someone, AT THAT MOMENT, is losing their entire world, maybe their life. In seconds.
Thank you for showing what real storm chasers feel. I’ve heard a lot also feel conflicted but offer WHATEVER help you can. Chaser or not, you can always help out somehow.
Big props to you guys. The footage here is some of the best and I've seen a lot from other chasers here. Aside from the terrific video, hearing the alerts from your mobile going off while the tornado sirens wail while following these monsters hit the mark for me as a storm enthusiast. Additional praise for keeping your cool while documenting these storms. The reaction from some of the other chasers can be a bit off putting. Well done all the way around.
Thank you! Sometimes I like adding music or production value, but this day and the sights and the sounds were such that it was best to just leave the audio natural most of the time. It was an intense day for sure. Thanks for watching.
Unbelievable day, really enjoyed this man.
Thanks Max!! Was going to settle in and watch your full vid this evening!
i really appreciate the lack of screaming in this storm chasing video
I got tired of hearing my own voice in my weather videos a long time ago. Thanks for watching!
@@AndrewPritchard Hell yeah, I agree. (pardon my language) In my 65yr-old life, I've done some risky, daredevil things. But, what you do here isn't safe! Chasing storms must be analogous to chasing women. You chase them and chase them...until...they finally catch you! Lol Great show.
Thank you for all the work that goes into this...🇺🇸 👍☕
This was a tough chase as it was my home. Watching your footage of the wall cloud rotating over downtown Lincoln is spine tingling. Also the "people in Waverly are acting strange" - same while we were on the interstate... some people on interstate are acting strange. Then scan the horizon and boom on our right. Similar to you guys... wait it's behind you? ours was wait, it's to our right? we were looking straight ahead as that was where the rain was wrapping around. Since we were behind the storm, we stopped at Waterloo, NE as damage path for Elkhorn tornado started there and no way through the road at the point. honestly i had enough and was ready to go home. So great to see the view that we probably would have had, if we hadn't gone for the storm early. But that's what we do in our chasing, we want to be there for the early part of the storm too... look forward to watching second half of this later as i know little of what the iowa storms/tornadoes looked like and appreciate your more meteorological approach to storm chasing
Very good documentary. There's just the right balance of excitement and respect, with some stunning shots throughout.
Thank you ❤️
What a powerful message to lead off this chase vlog... Very well said, Andrew.
…and you know it’s an incredible chase day when you stop chasing and still see tornadoes
“Wanna just stop and end our day and stop seeing tornadoes?”
Tornadoes: hey
Appreciate ya as always, Ethan
Its so violent. Its like it stretches back to catch whatevers left.. Its really devastating to watch. Take care all you brave ❤️ from Sweden
I like to call the surroundings, circling vortices “Dancing Devils “. It amazes me how the main central vertices of a tornado well move in and out to cavort with the exterior dancing. Devils. Spectacular footage guys!
I believe I enjoyed your birthday as much as you did Andrew! It is so good to see and hear a young intelligent man who not only respects the storm but also respects those who are in its path do a wonderful documentary without all of the obnoxious thrill-seeking nonsense that goes with storm chasing today. As someone who has lived through three devasting tornadoes I must say you do a great job. Look forward to seeing more from SKYDRAMA.
Appreciate that - glad to have you along!
Good grief, people (regular folks) drive down the road right into tornados, craziest crap i have ever seen. I thought people knew better!!!!
They are meteorologists…
Excellent video. Great pictures. Your calm quiet but excited demeanor added to it. Nice to have quiet to actually hear the roar. Your respect for those who were affected is also much appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks for coming along!
Nice catch by Defiance, by the way, at the end. I got an unexpected one returning home to Des Moines after diving a couple exits south to intercept a tor-warned storm that produced a nice elephant trunk east of Winterset at sunset. It finally fulfilled my 16-year goal to catch and report a tornado that nobody else saw. What a day!
What a day - long track tornadoes for the masses with a couple needles in the haystack for folks to document alone.
I watched you live on Ryan Hall and was amazed. You were on vacation and didn't have to do this but I'm glad you did. Happy birthday!
That first tornado was a great shot but omg it just sat there not moving hardly. I pray no one was hurt. It just seemed to get bigger and bigger and not moving fast at all. You guys are amazing and you don't scream and holler like other storm chasers. Love your channel.
Great work. I appreciate how you keep a safe distance, unlike so many chasers who try to get right in the things. Unlike most of them, you find great vantage points for filming, and the long steady wide shots allow us to really marvel at the storm behavior. I also appreciate your calmness and the respect you show towards the storm and the people affected by it.
To each their own, but I wait all year to capture these once in a lifetime moments and I’ll be darned if I’m going to spend hen frantically driving around filming through my window
Brilliant video 👏🏾👏🏾
You got some amazing footage, although it’s tragic to know of the death that occurred.
The skies certainly delivered for your birthday!
Great chase 👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you!! It's a tough balance, seeing the sky doing incredible things but knowing it is changing lives forever, for the worse. It'll happen whether I'm there or not though, and I want to capture it to the best of my ability. Appreciate you watching and the kind words. Take care.
@@AndrewPritchard you’re welcome!
Thanks for the reply and for the work you and all other chasers do. You are literally the eyes and ears on the ground at these events. What you do is indispensable for tornado 🌪️ warnings and safety and that can never be discounted. I’m a sense you put yourselves ‘in harms way’ to keep others safe.
Keep up the good work sir!! 🫡
The sheer awe and the utter destruction and loss can never be reconciled. Total conflict of emotion. I so appreciated your intro. Well said. And the day did indeed wrap up on a perfect note 🌈. What an amazing birthday chase. I lost count. I've only heard of these days of multitudes of tornados across wide areas. To see just this part of it happen is mind boggling. You guys did well. Thanks to both of you. And a Happy belated Birthday!!
🌩🌪🏃
Thank you!
Watching you two fly down the road away from the Minden tornado had my heart pounding. I'm glad you're both safe!
Same here!
Amazing footage. Thank you for including us on this crazy weather day. My grandsons 4th birthday. Prayers for all those affected.
Thanks for joining
❤😅😢❤❤ I know I live in uk Eastbourne but have deepest gratitude for all storm chasers that try there best to worn people about tornado threat and take there life in there hands to help xx my name is elise and my birthday us 19th of June 35 my wish is to see one soon
I find that the sirens make it even more terrifying!great video thank you !
Grew up near Champaign-Urbana area. Worked at UofI. Love watching storms. But can’t handle none of the chasers so far I watched. Glad I found ur channel. Thanks for being mature and respectful. Will watch ur vids and catch up. Be safe and glad u had great birthday.
Great footage. Question though, did you notify emergency services just in case? Super important and it looked like the 2 nd tornado was already well formed and on the ground when sirens finally went off.
Best tornadoes chasing video I’ve ever seen! Good job!
Yeah, Reed Timmer could learn a lot from you guys!!
That was quite a jam-packed day! Thanks for sharing all that with us.
Thanks for watching, trevor!
@@AndrewPritchard No problem. Also, I go by Trev, not Trevor, just so you know.
But they just drive by all the wreckage and destruction, 1st ones to pass by, and don't even stop to check on people. But they sure as hell can stop in front of a tornado to snap a photo. Too many other storm chasers jump at the chance to stop and help families, so theses guys can move on. Not welcome to drive by people in need and just gauck!!! Their kind isn't welcome here.
@@trevsvlogs Gotcha - thanks for correcting, Trev!
@@AndrewPritchard Yeah, no problem. I have an uncommon first name - Trevelyan, so I just go by Trev because that's easier to say, haha.
48:58- My god man, you can see like 4-5 very defined funnel clouds rotating around like a central void- that is an absolute monster tornado. That thing is scouring the ground I bet close to a foot deep at times. I hated to see it hit a structure of some kind- I sincerely hope that wasn't someone's home and that no one was in it. That's the type of tornado that kills ppl who- like you said, do the "right" things. They follow all the right advice and take precautions- and it gets them anyway. That same thing happened in both the F5s I was in- one was when I was a baby, so I don't remember it- but apparently it tore slabs off shelters and pulled ppl out. Destroyed homes and took ppl out of their basements, etc. The second one was in 2011- Hackleburg Alabama- and it did the same thing- not to me, luckily. I wasn't actually in it- I was right behind it though- saw what it did and tried to help clean up. It was horrible- lots of dead ppl. Thank you for taking it seriously and thinking about the ppl affected- makes a difference.
I just asked if that’s what I saw because I couldn’t believe my eyes.
@@Variant1on1 Yeah- that's what we saw- apparently, it's not that uncommon to have multi vortex tornadoes- but it's rare that you can see them this clearly or for them to be rotating so evenly spaced around such a clearly defined void in the center.
@@stoneysdead689 Thanks, I didn’t know it was common.
i was watching that thing on a tower cam in Lincoln nebraska as it moved through
Dangerously close to the Lincoln metro for sure!
48:15 that thing is literally the mind flayer 😮
No joke!!
@@AndrewPritchard I have never seen such structured and perfectly stable multiple vortices before like this one displayed. What a power house of wonder. The only thing that even comes close in my mind to that display is the infamous El Reno.
Did all of us chase this outbreak the same way? I may have mixed it up a bit - I crossed through Omaha after a cop blocked me from going north on Elkhorn - catching the start of the Eppley AFB tor on the I-80 bridge over the Missouri! - but otherwise stuck to the same exact schedule you and everyone else did AFAIK. If you pin where these happened, Omaha was SUPER, SUPER lucky that the Elkhorn, Eppley and Minden EF- "3" 's weren't all even a quarter of a county off of where they actually formed. The residential shots for Elkhorn is the best tornado footage I've ever seen.
The cars racing into the tornadoes is the true definition of IDGAF
Excellent video. Having lived through the 1974 Super Outbreak, I appreciate your attention to the suffering these storms cause.
The irony is that it’s my birthday as well. Even though you celebrate your birth, you are still looking at the damage that the tornado caused.
Happy Birthday hon🎉
thank you thank you thank you amazing what mother nature throws at us, you both are very professional I didn't hear any foul language. great ending with rainbow. Stay safe.
Thank you for coming along!
That’s a really awful looking tornado. It’s like a mixer? How can you protect yourself from a monster like that? Maybe an underground bunker.
Yes underground is always best.
Fantastic video. Thanks. No screaming, yelling or cheering.
Thanks for watching!
Man the convection of that very first tornado was breathtaking. Scary but yet beautiful
I was in school during one of the outbreaks and then a tornado warning was announced over the intercom, but lucky I lived in the northwest of Iowa and no one was hurt.
I also recognized the tornado on the water tower in Harlan, and had the same situation at a gas station in Manila, IA and got blasted by RFD.
Crazy day with a lot of things we'll never forget!
Sometimes even doing the right thing isn't enough. Thank you sir for helping us. Thank you for keeping us weather enthusest grounded, and helping keep us all safe ❤
Wonderful chase guys!! Amazing video.
Thank you!
I was just watching this video a second time and the footage shot at 44:06 in Minden IA is very impressive.
I decided to subscribe to your channel because of the foreword at the beginning of your video and your other comments throughout it. Thank you for appreciating the fact that the storms are majorly affecting peoples lives. You appreciate the beauty and the power of the storms all at the same time, acknowledging and feeling for the people whose lives are affected.
As a person who has a late April birthday I have also been fascinated by the midwest weather. The first April tornado that captured my attention was the tornado that hit Xenia, Ohio on April 3, 1974. The newspaper coverage and a short blurb on the TV was all I learned about that event in my hometown on the South Shore of Boston. It was not until 1981 that I visited Xenia. The local library offered a much more detailed look at that devastating event. What interested me was how the way we respond to such weather events has changed thanks to what Dr. Ted Fujita witnessed after Xenia. It's my hope that more people will heed the warnings that are based on science and trained spotters. Each time you go off on a chase each is different. As you said about Vlog 51, who knew you would be "filming the most spectacular atmospheric event of my life." Thank you Andrew for all the time and energy you put into your productions.
Thanks for watching as always, and for sharing your story. The weather sure does leave it's historical marks on all of us. That is one thing that keeps me headed out the door with a long drive ahead of me... you just never know what you're going to run into.
@@AndrewPritchard Be safe. I know you must hear that a lot but you are a valued member of CU so watch your six.
Counting quik trips along the way
Thank You for this video and thank you for your seriousness, reverence, and respect for these storms. I am a storm spotter here in South Omaha, NE. At the time of this tornado, I was in San Antonio, TX with my two of my sisters to help my stepfather assist my mother who at the time was in the hospital. My sister Angie and I are from Omaha, and we were getting Weather alerts on our phone the entire time. I was able to watch some footage from a storm spotter in Omaha, NE that filmed the storm. I was concerned for my family at the time, but I knew my wife was taking care of our kids and the 2 foster kids that were staying with us during that time. I was also concerned for my team of security officers that were working on this day and I texted my other lead to make sure they were okay and if there was any damage to Boys Town West Medical Campus. Fortunately, there wasn't any damage to the Medical or home campus. I saw the damage that was done around the 215th & coach area along with the damage done in Elkhorn. On Sunday April 28, my Pastor and some members of our church went out to assist with clean-up for those who were hit by the tornado.
Now the week of the 19-22 of May, Omaha, NE could see another round of severe storms including tornadoes.
Please stay safe Andrew and thank you for what you do.
Braw video, Lads. Eeish, what a Long day chasing tornies. You lads certainly caught your fill for the day and earned some down time. Slàinte Mhath🏴 from Oklahoma.
Long day for sure!! Thanks for watching!
this is some of the best tornado footage I have ever seen.
It was an incredible day, grateful to have been there to capture it
Andrew, did that tornado hit those grain elevators at about 13 minutes? When I was a boy in Illinois, a tornado warning went off while we were in chruch and we all ran across the street to two large elevators, one which was empty. The church was vaporized by an EF3, but those elevators only got surface damage to the exterior. It was a strange experience beause of the echos within that space and the sound of the storm was amplified within. Is it your experience that empty grain elevators are a good shelter in a tornado? That elevator saved over 40 lives.
Between the chasers that cheer and gush over tornados; or the chasers who film the damage like a tourist; sometimes tornado videis are impossibility to watch.
But then i find chasers like you, or Pecos Hank, who acutely understand that while beautiful these storms wreck peoples lives.
Thank you for being professional
Thanks for coming along, and for the kind words! Any time I'm mentioned in the same sentence as Hank my day has been made.
You know its some serious hell when you can see it on recording.
Legendary from you @MeteorologistAndrewPritchard that chase is like such an adrenaline kick, I don't know what to say, its great to see your captures improving, hope to see more from you and was wondering if you could do meteorological breakdowns?
That was probably the best, heartfelt prologue I have ever heard from a storm chaser.
Wow, what a nice way to end your day! Happy belated birthday! 🎉
I appreciated your vibe and approach to storm chasing. I used to live and work in SW Iowa not far from there. I do hope you can get some equipment that doesn’t rely on auto-focus. Keep up the good work, guys! Stay safe!
Appreciate it! It's just tough out there when you're bouncing between shooting object near and far through rain and windshield etc.
You two are amazing. Thank you
Thanks Mary!
You guys are true ride or die friends. There's a tornado right there, you wanna go over there? I dunno what'd you wanna do? I don't recall the exact words so it's not in quotes 😁 but I was thinking wow, if anybody would ever ask me do you wanna go over with that tornado, I can confidently say that my answer would be a hard NO 😂

NEVER apologize for the vital, life-saving work that you and other heroes do on our behalf. Millions of Americans and others around the world are better educated and prepared because you guys risk your lives in order to help understand tornado behavior. THANK YOU!
I think it’s so important for people to do research mostly when they live in places in Tornado Alley like I do. Whenever one happens it causes me to over and over again do research and on April 26th (right before my birthday as well) I found out we had a tornado watch and right away the sirens went off. Somehow my brain just went to grab my blankets and stuff to cover myself with just from my body remembering all the research videos I’ve seen. Even if I wasn’t thinking much about it, my body and brain knew what to do with how much research I did and still do all the time. Many people should do many research as well
What an amazing video, both the footage of the storms and the commentary. Thank you!
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching.

This is amazing and terrifying footage❤ Happy belated Birthday Andrew🎉
Amazing video! This would be my dream job.....chasing . As an Insurance adjuster of 35 yrs plus, I have seen and handled many a tornado claim. I have such a fascination of the weather, and would love to go on one chase before I hang up my ladder and tape measure! lol
It's never too late to start!
This is top quality footage, this is what makes a difference between a money hungry shouters (Reed Timmer) and true humble passionate whose purpose is to save lives. The attention to details and determination, plus next to none comments during shots makes you a Pecos Hank class storm-chaser. I already know this channel will burst in popularity as it's not made for cheap to lure people into some silly storm-chasing business, but rather to document and showcase the recent increasingly violent activity of our Earths atmosphere. You gained my sub today Andrew, hundreds of thousands to be added shortly. As long as it makes you feel good, please continue this fearless endeavour - me and hundreds of others will watch passionately at the edge of our seats. Thank you Andrew. Glad I found your Vlog.
The people that drive into the circulation to take measurements are the only ones doing any good to further the science. The money chasers are those that sit in a safe spot and use sharpening filters to make pretty pictures and those that take the footage of storm chasers to make videos after the fact. You don't even know the difference between glamor shots and real storm chasing my guy. Learn about the field before acting like a authority.
@@doublecrossedswine112 Then enjoy your screaming time.
I'm going to go ahead and say you are BOTH wrong and clearly don't have skin in the game, but I appreciate your input. Reed is far from money hungry, and sinks every dollar he has into the science. He screams not for attention, but because he is genuinely that passionate and excited about big storms. I've known the guy for 20 years, there is no one more kind and passionate about severe weather. Me, I love distant, tripoded shots, because it's what I like! I don't sell my video, and I rarely even plop UA-cam ads on it. I've studied meteorology my entire life, and I wait all year for these once in a lifetime moments. That's why it's MY preference to setup somewhere that I can view the entire storm and not have to be constantly driving. A tripoded, steady video of the tornado and surroundings is what helps me relive these days. Thanks for watching, but please keep your opinions about people and their motivation to yourself.

Thank you for what you do it helps keep folks safe we need a good chaser around the Leavenworth Kansas area it would bring me comfort and make me feel safe I live in northeast Kansas and too many tornadoes happen here and It would provide me comfort if someone would chase her for a visual so I know what to expect when it's happening we almost got hit by a tornado those four days of severe weather outbreak and the last day is when we almost got hit i almost had a stroke my heart was racing and pounding so fast I was so scared for my life my safety and well being. That "carousel" tornado towards the end was so flippin awesome looking 👀!! It had soooo many vortices! And the way it had a tail (or whatever you want to call it) the entire time... it's definitely one of the coolest looking tornadoes I've ever seen (right up there with the Tuscaloosa EF-4 and all of its tentacles). Great video!
Thanks Kailey. One of the few times I’ve been absolutely speechless watching storm/tornado.
And you’re right, Tuscaloosa is in my top three craziest tornadoes I’ve ever seen (on vid, of course, I was not there)
If you ask me the Tuscaloosa tornado was one of the most visually horrifying looking tornados I've ever seen. Because of the "tentacles" the smaller Cullman storm was similar looking as well. The only ones I think were worse visually was El Reno 2013, looked like it was manufactured by a machine, and Joplin, because of the sheer size and ominous presence in the dark.
I am from Minnesota. I am familiar with Minnesota, North Dakota and Nebraska. I have also lived in California and New Jersey.
Happy Birthday!!! Stay safe out there!!!🎉
Happy Birthday!
I do hope you had a very wonderful birthday!!!

Thank you for watching!!
I have been terrified of tornadoes since I was really little. It doesn’t stop my intense desire to watch and learn more though. I take all warnings very seriously and if I ever get the chance to travel to watch something this extraordinary I will take it. I would never watch one here at home because I would be inside sheltering. I have a family to take care of and to protect. Thank you for being respectful and for not making this an adrenaline hit like many other chasers do.
