Watching the librarian do everything but actually customize his bases look is killing me, it feels like a tease because he keeps going into the room to do it and he glances at it and then turns right back around
12:04 First time I encountered this Species I thought it was a tiny blue glowing fish, and I wanted to get closer to it and then- "OH GOD IT WAS TEETH!" After that it chased me and I lost my first seatruck.
The Spy Pengling might've been inspired by the penguin robot that researchers used to study penguins. I remember reading about it years ago. The fact that this fake baby penguin with wheels for feet could get up close and be accepted as one of the penguins' own was so cute and funny. A little tip: The Spy Pengling can act as a temporary beacon. Just don't leave it too close to carnivores.
I know the Libarian has already filmed episode 6 a while back, but boy am I glad that we've finally remember who my absolute Queen, Marguerit Maida, is.
Bonus building tips for the corridors: On the side slots, you can put hatches, windows and reinforcements. On the top slot, you can put a hatch or window. On the bottom slot, you can also put a hatch, but no window. Obviously, the X corridor won't have a spare side slot, and the L pieces don't have a top or bottom slot ... and having two corridors above/below eachother lets you build a ladder between them... but I did recently stumble upon the "bonus slots" for hatches, which was perfect for my "outpost" bases.
4:50 Oh wow, I never tried putting the dome on a reactor room. It's really cool how it adds a cap over the reactor, I was expecting it to just be flat where the reactor meets the multipurpose room's roof. That's some pretty good detail.

@ I mean, in a more fun and believable way. Stasis Rifle + knife is more tedious and kinda silly imo. They also disabled the Stasis Rifle in BZ (tho you can still spawn it in via the console), so we're not sure if we'll be seeing it again.
I don’t think that Marguerite is gonna show up in Subnautica 2. She seems pretty content where she’s at and I’m pretty sure the next game is gonna take place on another planet or something.
You should work on upgrading your Seatruck more! I feel like the Aquarium and Sleeper Modules would fit the Creepy and Comfy Aesthetic! The Sleeper even plays music!
In my opinion it's still kinda weird that she hasn't died of Kharra (Also no, you don't swim slower at deeper depths, you just generally move slower in Below Zero because the map is like 2x smaller)
@@agoodmeme4823 Mod idea: Make Kharaa infection more severe on humans, so you have to keep it in check with Enzyme 42 from the Peepers or the Sea Emperor's aquarium till you cure it.
The disease was incurable, but it WAS treatable. In Subnautica 1, it was shown that Peepers were given a vaccine that they transmitted around the planet. Whatever ate the Peepers or hung around their locations absorbed this vaccine, and this is why after hundreds of years there was still life on the planet.
@@agoodmeme4823 Yeah that could be true, but I think the game explains it by her eating a dead reaper leviathan she killed with her BARE HANDS somehow. And because all leviathans are immune to Kharra at some level she developed immunity for Kharra after a while.
There is a specialized doc for the sea truck so you don't have to remove the modules once you get a lot of them but I'm pretty sure it still doesn't charge the prom suit😅
I spent the entire afternoon binge watching this channel. I exit out... only to see that there's a new video. Looks like I'm gonna watch another video.

I'll just mildly spoil, and say that I built my base in the area you're in at 1:12:41, and found a few useful fragments in the depths there. Which ones you'll have to find out yourself but I doubt you'll be disappointed. The simultaneous "I'm about to die so I need to hurry" and leisurely reading lengthy PDA entries is giving me palpitations.

I believe they did something similar with a robot crabs. It's a BBC series called Spy In The Ocean.

My theory is she survived longer due to eating the peepers imbued with the enzyme, and was eventually cured by the traveling Sea Emperor’s.
