@@BendStudio_ Seriously. I think this is an IP that needs to be fought for. I know the sales numbers weren't as high as hoped but it really was a great game. Literally so many times while fighting the hordes, knowing you were pushing the PS4 to the max, I just kept wondering what you could do with that system on the PS5.

All I gotta say is........If this doesn't scream that Bend Studios wasnt ready to create Days Gone 2 then what does! I'm definitely a Sony fan boy! With that said, there biggest mistake since the start of the new gen. is saying no to Days Gone 2 proposal. And yes I signed the petition as well. This games story was as good as RDR and RDR 2 as well as The Last of Us 1 and 2. For me this game had everything u need out of an open world RPG. Most definitely good enough for a sequel. For the love of god, look at some of the other exclusives that were given a second game. Just think about how good red dead got on rdr 2. I really felt like Days Gone had laid the ground work with the characters and story to have a bare minimal trilogy. The reason I went out and bought a PS 4 pro was because of this game specifically. I had not owned a Playstation since PS 2 just sayin. After that I went on too play all their best exclusives that I had missed over the last 12 years. It brought me back into gaming at an unhealthy level possibly worse than what it was when I was in highschool but we all know the ones that are just too good to put down or are worth playing 2 or 3 times. This was that for me. Sony please reconsider?
This game blew me away with the amount of detail put into this games world. From the plants and trees, to the lighting, even to the tiny detail of the pine needles on car hoods. Great job bend!!!
Still one of my favorite games of all time. I love the characters, the gameplay, the music, the story, the hordes.
This game is incredible. Closest thing to a masterpiece I've ever played. Was everything I wanted in an open world zombie game and then even more. Thank you for this game and I pray for a sequel!
Seriously Days Gone is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED!!! It's such a fantastic game and deserves a sequel more than most!!!!! For those of us who grow up playing siphon filter especially love it because the outbreak has to do with the virus from siphon filter

I've never played any playstation games before but everything changed when my friend boasted me this game. I remember I was still in college and Days gone just came out. My friend let me play it in his house and it was breathtaking. That day I have said to myself that I will for sure buy playstation 4 by the time I got employed. And guess what, I never regret of loosing any peny that I spent. It was worth it. I'm proud that this is the 1st playstation game that I played and I'm still praying that we will get a sequel. Thank you Bend Studio for creating such a wonderful game.
Man.. these behind the scenes videos are so full of mixed emotions - on one hand you have people who worked their asses off talking about every aspect of this incredible game so we could dive into world of Days Gone once again.
On the other hand you have to live with a fact, that you'll never be able to play a sequel that this game (without any doubt) deserves so much..
Every single person behind Bend Studio, I can tell you one thing 👉 I'll play you new IP game no matter what it is, because I know it would be full of hard work and I want to support you on your journey as much as I can, because this game was a real gem.

This game has one of the best worlds ever, it had a full experience, this game is a masterpiece and in many aspects way ahead of its time. The world is impeccable and delightful to see/explore. Masterpiece like very few games from its generation. 💯💯

The graphics in this game are still better than most of the new releases today. It was such an immersive experience.
The game graphics are absolutely amazing and the studio should rightly be so proud of your achievements. Just need a sequel to find out how O’brian evolves and what happens next
This game is absolutely beautiful. I have over 650 hours on record and still enjoy it. The team has done a marvelous job and I hope that one day Bend will return with a sequel. It's the first part that showed us to never lose hope and so I don't.

I've only played Days Gone long after release but I'm so glad I did. It was an absolute blast. The game is criminally underrated. The hordes, the world, the story, the atmosphere, the graphics, the sound design, the gameplay. Everything is top notch. It's a shame there is no sequel. But I'm looking forward to the new IP :)
I love the dynamic weather system ya'll implemented in to the world. It adds such an immersive experience to the game! The fact that many of the locations are real , again adds such an immersive and relatable experience to those who live in Oregan that play this game. I love it!

I've played Days Gone four times and I'm still playing it, for the fifth time, I hope you guys make Days Gone 2, with the same actor he was awesome that bike was a great idea and the cliffhanger, it was awesome just waiting for the next one. I hope you guys make it I'm really looking forward to it. Thank you for making it, DAYS GONE, it was the greatest game I've played in a long time, loved the backdrop scenery in the game, thank you.

Days Gone is a masterpiece and deserves a lot more recognition, i didn't knew this game existed before i saw it on steam and it quickly became my all time favorite game. It deserves a sequel "upp north" with NERO and O'Brien as the antagonist.

Everyone who worked on this game is a genius for helping to bring together such a great overall game.
There's this saying that when ever you wanna fast travel you think the game is boring. Days Gone is the opposite, in Days Gone you actually wanna drive across the map because you might drive into a pack of wolves, a horde, an ambush and so on. There's always something interesting to see on the map when you avoid fast traveling. Now I admit, I have fast traveled in Days Gone, not because it was boring, but because I wanted something so bad that I couldn't wait to buy it, but then I fast traveled back. Out of all the games I've played, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Days Gone are games I've barely fast traveled in at all. Simply because both worlds are unique and filled with so much love to see. Amazing game and an even more amazing studio. I wish you all good fortune!

Days Gone is one of my all-time favorite games. But I think it's the only game where I felt that much in danger, craving for survival. This was probably because I was so deeply immersed in it. Thank you Bend for this masterpiece. I'm glad you put together these behind the scenes videos. Now I want to play it again, and I will.

I've been telling my Xbox friend about this game saying its the best game I have ever played , he finally bought the PC version from steam and he can't stop playing it , he's a true gamer and also says it's the best game he has ever played

Seeing all the love and care put into this game which translates into myself having a great time playing Days Gone several times. I fell in love with this game and everything in it so much I bought the Art Book and the Soundtrack. Thank you for a great experience.
I can't even describe how much I love this game! And what truly sets it apart from other great games is that the world is so realistic, every single little detail, the random weather changes, how the trees move in the wind, how the sunlight shines through the morning fog, and the sunsets omg.. Other beautiful games seem oversaturated and somehow unrealistic.. but Days Gone is just absolute perfection! I love riding around, catching the beautiful scenery while at the same time getting some action. Plus the story is just so amazing, how it all unravels. I've played it through so many times, I can't wait for the sequel (I still believe it's not cancelled forever), because I just want to see more of the story, get more places to visit, like maybe they actually do go up North after all.. and who knows what crazy stuff is up there!

After seeing this video, you guys absolutely NAILED the world, it definitely looks like your area.
Push for that sequel, or maybe just some DLC. I'd love to see this IP in another location, especially after seeing how well you capture the area around Bend.

Living in Oregon had me excited for this game and for me it didn't disappoint. Being a hiker brings the game more the life with all these familiar environments I see everyday. Well done.

Days Gone was the first game I played in PS4 and actually I learned from it when my wife tested a PS4 in a store. It felt empty, sad, survivorlish a world I'd like to explore. Up until this day I think no other game captured me like Days Gone, I was REALLY sad when it ended. After a couple games and years I went back for it, man it has a lot o bugs and things are definitely not smooth. But I still love it! I'm genuinely sad they dropped Days Gone 2, at least for now. I think in maybe 5 years they will see its a world worth revisiting. Days Gone for me has that thing old games have of making you want to see more, like a Duke Nukem that you want to access places you're not supposed to, that broke bridge, that unreachable place that cars are on the way and check if you can see more. Yiu guys really dropped the ball on not having DLCs and the challenges might have more randomness in the goals, maybe even use more of the camps, challenging missions it would make this game replayable. Once the story is over and hordes are dead there's nothing else to do, besides reseting and doing again. There could be a secret scene or ending when 100% is completed. So much more could have been done. And I'm only saying because I love it! Like many on the internet now recognize this game is an underrated gem. People keep talking about "The last of us" and I mainly see nostalgia goggles, I've played and I've finished but I still don't think is better than "Days Gone" it's WAY more challenging, and that's why it has this replayability factor. Someday I hope "Days Gone" will have a continuation. Maybe we'll learn St John finally accepted Iron Mike's place and the camps and region grew with his help. Maybe another game in a new location like a World War Z... I don't know I just keep dreaming

I just finished the game after wanting to play it since it came out and I have to say I really really love this game. I hope there is a sequel as I would buy it in a heartbeat.

The weather system in this game is possibly the best I've seen and that includes Red Dead 2 because even that game didn't do dynamic snow cover. Actually it surprised me first when it started snowing in the green and lush area near the barnyard and I remember thinking "wouldn't it be great if the snow actually stuck to the roads" only to find not only did it stick to the roads it also went on the bike, the buildings and the characters and if it snowed enough you'd actually crunch through it when walking!
Yep that was one of the best weather systems i've seen in any game before and even since. Ignore the haters of this game as they are usually the critics who are concerned the game is not diverse enough because the protagonist just happens to be a White Male Christian American Biker which ticks none of their nonsensical boxes. Gamers want games and not Politics and in my opinion you nailed everything a gamer wants in a zombie survival game with a great story that makes you want to keep going just to see what happens.
Excellent job and I really hope you work on a sequel :)

Ik sony cancelled the sequel ,but this game was the first game that actually brought me into video games and i worship it as much as i can,its an art of piece,still waiting for a sequel tho,even after them cancelling it ,cause

I'm a latecomer to the game but I am absolutely loving it, the visuals and sound are stunning. I can just stand there and exist in the world being both awe inspired and terrified at the same time. Can't wait to see what you do next.

Love the game and still playing trough the story (Picked it up on PC and runs great, yay UE4). Recently got a 4k tv and a 3090 and this game looks really good. More importantly the game is fun to play and love the world you guys made. Its interesting the game got overlooked by allot of people for some reason. Much love to the team that worked on it day in and day out. It deserves a sequel.
It's a shame that John Garvin, and Jeff Ross, both are no longer at Bend. Without those two, I just don't see a sequel even being a tiny bit possible.

I’ve been playing the game on and off for the last few months (I’m in post finish, 2nd time around horde killing mode at the moment). Really fantastic marriage of characters, story, visuals, music and gameplay. They just got so much right on this game. It reminds me of the the first Horizon Dawn and Mass Effect where you just want to hang out in those worlds with those people and stories, so you play many times.

….and thank you for not killing Sara, Boozer, Rikki or even Courie. I think it was smart and not uncool at all to have a basically fairly happy ending. Even if O’Brien gives you the “There coming to get you Barbara” bit at the end…lol

It is a beautiful game. I thought it was magic the way the weapons I'd picked and the skins I was putting on the bike were maintained in the cut scenes. I don't know how they do stuff like that. And also I did notice that if it was raining and I went into a cut scene, or if it was sunset, then in the cut scene it was still raining or still at sunset. Very cool.

I only just got the game a couple of months ago; just finished the playthrough on Steam Network.
The detail is unbelievable....I would use the words "visually sumptuous". If this is what Bend OR looks like in real life, I've absolutely got to go. I find myself comparing this to the latest "Wolfenstein" games. "Wolfenstein"---at least the recent versions, from "The Old Blood" onward---is a video game with strong storytelling movie-like elements in it.
This, on the other hand, is a movie with strong video game elements. You could cut together all of the cutscenes from this game, do a small amount of post-processing, and Boom! You've got a movie that could easily ship to the movie theater chains within a few days. Playing through the game elements would be nice, but a movie audience could still enjoy the story without them. This makes this game absolutely superior. My gratitude to Bend Studios; I wish there had been a sequel. I don't understand why there wasn't, but I would be here for it if there was. Thank you Bend!
