Erwin. Those last couple of minutes. That soundtrack.🤌Goosebumps. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to watch these on a big cinema screen. While Erwin’s charge theme is blasting through. 💥💥
If I remember correctly, when episode 3x18 was released on Japanese television, it was also released in Japanese cinemas, broadcasting episodes 3x16, 3x17 and 3x18 as if they were a movie.
Konnichiwa. I love your reaction. I mean the STRESS LEVEL is over the charts!!! 🤣 now, let's go WARRIORS!!! Zeke's the BEST, fek the SCOUTS!!! Next episode, onegai (please)
Levi and Erwin's relationship is so GOOD!!! These two goated characters came together to create THE perfect scene. Out of context, the line 'Give up your dream and die' might seem like the worst possible thing to say to a friend. But, with context, it becomes an expression of deep respect and devotion. Erwin has been guilt-ridden and ashamed due to his pursuit of his dream at the cost of all the brave men and women who followed him and died under his command. He seriously questions whether all these people died for nothing more than his selfish desire to vindicate his father. Levi knows about Erwin’s inner turmoil, so he decides to make the choice for him, thus carrying his burden. Telling him to let go of his dream and die is precisely what Erwin needs to hear at this moment. Essentially, Isayama made "Give up your dream and die" into a touching moment of devotion and gratitude between two friends.
That final scene, Erwin's speech and the scouts' charge, is maybe my favorite scene of the whole show (definitely top 3), and there are many great ones to choose from. Apart from being one of the most epic and inspiring scenes I have seen anywhere, it sums up the whole show, imo. One of the main themes of the show is the strength of the human spirit and the sacrifice it is capable of in the face of utter defeat and hopelessness. Life is suffering, but we don't give up (as Erwin said "That is the sole method in which we can rebel against this cruel world"). Mikasa alluded to the same idea in another one of my favorite scenes of the show, when she said: "This world is cruel, but also very beautiful". Right before she also decided not to give up. It is also a beautiful ending for Erwin. His dream was his reason for living, and fighting. And yet, when he had to choose, he chose to sacrifice his dream for the common good, like all the men he lead to their deaths since he became a commander.
Its also my favorite moment if the show. Even my favorite moment in all of fiction. I have watched this scene so many times. At least 500 times. And in every language there is a dub of, and it still gives me goosebumps EVERY SINGLE GOD DAMN TIME. Erwin the motherfucking GOAT
"I'm sorry guys, cant discuss now, need to watch the next episode" Yes, and does the same with the next one, you dont need to wait one episode per week, we are glad.
Armin was actually thinking correctly by delegating responsibility to Jean. He was reading the situation and realized that Jean was better suited at certain aspects of reading situations and people. Armin is great at strategy in general and knows how to use other peoples' strengths. Armin felt out of his league, but knew what to do until he can come up with another strategy.
It's a whole different experience to watch it all in one go. I followed it when each episode was released, and the suspense during that one-week wait was something else. And, no, I didn't read the manga.
Great reaction. I can't wait to watch your reaction to the next episode, which achieved the perfect score (a 10 out of 10) on IMDB for months (until GoT and FMAB fans decided to consciously lower the score), a score only achieved and maintained to this day by episode 5x14 of Breaking Bad titled Ozymandias.

@12:56 LOL wdym?? Thats the most accurate reaction!! The whole planet reacted like this, huge mixed bag of emotions, some cry, others go into denial, the rest are somewhere in between the lines of Trauma/ shock.
That eng dub was absolutely amazing. The righteous fury in the delivery of those lines, just incredible. I stood up and clenched my fists I'll never forget the 1st time I watched it.

I totally get it. Discussion when we get this type of cliffhanger? Ain't nobody got time for that!

Proof this show is just that good, you can't even do a discussion!

AoT is a masterpiece.

I hate this comment with a burning passion. *cries in spanish*
😑 please don't say that. I can feel myself getting angry all over again..

PEAK
It's alright that you haven't anything to say, episodes 16,17,18 should be one big episode to you
I think if you heard erwins speech in dub, it will shake you how good it was. It's one of the speeches where the dub smokes the sub
I wouldn't say "smokes", but it's one of the rare places where you can make the argument that the dub is actually better.
@@r_bear agree ,it doesn't smoke, but is really good .
xD

『Before Lights Out』

これを聴くといつも鳥肌が立ちます…😢
There's only one anime show better than AoT for me, it's Vinland Saga, but this speech scene still my best of all time.
Vinland Saga is scheduled for when I'm done with AoT. 👀
@@senpaierinreacts it's a great reason to stay tuned with your channel any longer!
For me Monster is better than both of those.
ADVANCE!!!!!!
And...... away..... we..... go.....:D
