I love this video however it has been women that have brought all the issues you named here to light. I work for a non profit where we recognize all these issues as human issues not just men or women.... and we do alot of work in the prisons etc..due to the PREA act and the people I work with identify as feminists. So my argument is where are the men?? why don't they show up for these issues why is it that its a majority of women showing up for both men and women?...I know men do because I work along side men but again it has been women bringing these issues to light women such as yourself...to me thats feminism

As a Feminist I agree with her...but what I think she's wrong about is that she's addressing some issues that are due to Misandrony and not Feminism. As a Feminist when I speak out for women I speak up for men as well. Women should not have more power or influence than men. I am a feminist in the sense that I believe some women's issues are not taken seriously yet (and need to), this do not mean I undermine men's issues. I do think men feel a lot of pressure to be "manly" enough, a man should not be undermined if he chooses to be a stay at home father or a hairdresser. The idea of feminism is questioning gender roles and stereotypes ("girls are all slut, guys are sexual predators") and changing the way we see manhood/womanhood. Maybe it is time to desociate the definition from the various movements identifying themselves as feminists

True intersectional feminism includes equity for all human beings, no matter gender, sexual orientation, race, class, etc. Yes, there are many feminists who stay silent on some large issues that are caused by our structural/social problems, like toxic masculinity and the effects of cultural capital. But to say that this woman "destroys third wave feminism in three minutes" enables ideas held by uninformed thinkers and continues to perpetuate the idea that all feminists think this way and/or are radical. Your concern with men's issues is admirable but the fact is the weight of men's issues just don't amount to anywhere near the disadvantages that women face. Men are free to bring those issues to the world if they so choose but the Feminist cause is here to further the interests of women.

Domestic violence, lack of equal pay and work opportunities, lack of representation in government (in Australia presently only 28%) lack of rights to their own bodies (abortion rights). In my state you need the permission of a doctor to have an abortion - which is essentially a third party making the call. In some countries genital mutilation is still practiced, sexual slavery...should I go on?

My daughter went on holiday with her three cousins.The girl cousin is expected to help with housework and her two brothers aren´t. They don´t do ANYTHING. My daughter came back furious. She was very sad for her cousin who is stuck in that family. Sad for the boys too, because they are being brought up so badly. What´s a solution to that?
