hey man do you know if you can install a driver side fuel tank on the passenger side and vice versa? thank you!
That is actually a good question. I have never done it but it’s the same concept as me switching driver and passenger seats. I would have to look
@@8526Productions if you find out I’d really appreciate it, looking to have one installed soon
Hello. I have the same question. I need to install a smaller tank on the passenger side but can only find smaller driver side tanks. Please help, thanks.
I have a heavy straight truck that I want to use for longer distances. Is it legal to switch my current fuel tank out for a larger one?
Absolutely not just bare in mind it will change your empty weight so will lower what you can axel but your gvwr will remain the same. Go for it!
Would have been a good idea to add another strap and a bigger fuel tank.
I had 100 gallons on both sides of mine and added 150s
And i would never buy a brand new fuel tank either. Jesus thats a steep price
Minel Fazlic truth! but between the different contracts I have I’ve found it easier just to give them what they want and move on
I have a heavy long flatbed straight truck that I want to use for longer distances. Is it legal to switch my current fuel tank out for a larger one? Do I have to worry about DOT regulations etc.? Thanks
Y not just have welded back to seal it again
Jesus, not polishing that aluminum tank to a mirror finish before installing should be a crime.
Truth. But gotta keep in mind most the drivers are steering wheel holders so these are just the fleet trucks. My Peterbuilts are a diff story
why polish a tank that'll be hidden by a skirt?
JB weld
Why not just repair it?
It's Me we did in order to use it on the yard truck which also needed one
too many part taking off
Money wasted
Yup good thing no one involved was worried about price
Jb would have fixed your problem
