This is how we celebrated Onam|Onam 2024

Onam is a major harvest festival celebrated in the Indian state of Kerala, typically in August or September. It marks the homecoming of the legendary King Mahabali, whose reign is considered a golden age of prosperity. The festival spans ten days, with grand celebrations including traditional dances like Kathakali and Pulikali, intricate floral arrangements (Pookalam), and the famous Onam Sadhya, a feast consisting of numerous vegetarian dishes served on banana leaves. Onam also features Vallamkali, or the snake boat race, symbolizing unity and Kerala's rich cultural heritage.
