Since matt was not screaming at all in 2006 that was obvious decision. In fact i dont remember matt singing lead screams anywhere else but chapman

People focus a lot on how talented Matt is because he’s the frontman but Corey fucking slayed in this performance. 🤘
I've also seen some other videos (mainly Throes of Perdition) which are mostly screamed by Corey. Corey's great and all but Matt's so much better. He better not be giving up on his growls cause he has some of the best screams I've heard

If you look at the last verse both Cory and Matt screams together. Which in my opinion sounds amazing.
Was there, amazing show! Did you find Upon a burning body to be really epic? Trivium, there is no doubt about how epic they were, but UABB were amazing. \m/
I think its just to help keep Matts voice in good shape.
Because Matt doesn't like hurting his voice, and the way he screams on E2E (album) is different than all the other albums so he lets Corey do most of it. Corey's scream is more of a bark anyway which is more fitting for E2E songs anyway.

Didn't really know Upon A Buring Body before the concert but I really liked their show, good stuff.
Matt does most of the screaming live these days. It doesn't thrash his throat too much any more. These days it seems like he has Corey do vocals more so he can perform than to save his voice. I know that screaming RIGHT doesn't hurt and I know Matt's the kind of person who'd do it right
it's the camera man, i saw them live and he use triggers for sure but it doesnt sound awful likee on the camera
Though this was six months ago, in case u were still wondering, Matt does almost none of the screaming live. I remember he said it thrashes his throat too much to be able to sing normally if he screamed as well. While recording it is different bcuz he can do screaming parts and regular singing parts at different times. I was wondering it too and found out after watching the Shogun documentary
Matt said in an interview...that he'll let Corey do most of the screams, because the scream affects Matt's voice and will eventually lose it.

EyeBlinked I think around 2013 or 2012 Matt’s voice got f’d so I don’t think he could do much but he recovered like a boss
It's clear to see that Matt's been focusing more on improving his singing than his screaming. It's not necessarily a bad thing, this just opens a door for Corey to have more lead vocal parts...maybe songs where it's his vocals and not Matt's
