  • Three space travelers launched to the International Space Station aboard a Soyuz spacecraft.🚀 Astronaut Chris Cassidy of NASA and cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner of the Russian space agency Roscosmos lifted off at 4:05 a.m. EDT on a four-orbit, six-hour journey to our orbiting laboratory.
    This is the third spaceflight for both Cassidy and Ivanishin and the first for Vagner. During their mission on the station, they'll welcome NASA's Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon, which is currently targeted to launch no earlier than mid-to-late May.

    • @coconutking675

      Nickname Nick, sure we haven’t done as much as some hoped in the past few years, but the fact that we have a space station built by several nations across the globe shows that humans are capable of uniting and constructing one of the most advanced scientific instruments ever that has housed humans since the very early 2000s. Plus, missions such as Artemis are underway, which will land humans back on the moon by 2024. We’ve also sent numerous rovers and exploration missions to various worlds around the solar system to learn more about them. So yes, while we don’t have colonies on the moon yet, we now understand so much more about the solar system that will help us in our journey across the stars.

    • @nicknamenick9448
      @nicknamenick9448 4 роки тому +1

      Coconut Kings such things would be done in several years in 1960s-1970s. And it lasts for decades now. I don’t think Moon mission will happen in 2024

      Nickname Nick dude, shut it. NASA hasn’t had the need for humans to go to the moon for the last couple decades. It’s only now that we need humans to go, because the moon is the gateway to mars. You don’t know how hard it is to get into orbit let alone go to mars or the moon. And just like the other person said, theirs Artemis. I bet your a “astronaut” that got rejected for Artemis and is trying to deceive us. Or your a 2 year old with no brain.

    I'm going to do this in english because it is how this video deservs. This launch shows just how much the space traveling has develop throughout this 60 or so years, how easier to respect of how this thing where made that time ago. It's still fasinating to see this type of things, and I bet it is so much more amazing seeing this actually there, this shows us how insignificant actually we are but that we can still do things to understand how where we live is, how its works, how in hindsight actually we are and how we actually are.
    This was a school homework, that's why this sound so pretencious. THX
