My eyesight quickly regressed back to near my old prescription, I'm -1 and -0.5 now. Left with minor dry, surgery was in 2016 aged 25. I was told I had thick/ healthy corneas. I've tried contact lenses, but they make me sensitive to light outdoors if it's bright. They are generally just a bit uncomfortable too. So, PRK was a complete failure for me....
I went with the Bates Method. It cost me $40 and I went from -2 to -0.50 in 1 year allowing me to stop using glasses. 1 person I know who got surgery took 6 months to fully recover from the surgery.
My eyes were totally fine till 6 weeks then i got filamentary keratitis and its been 4 months and still my eyes are too dry i use Lubricating drop in every 2 hrs
It must be frustrating to deal with the ongoing dry eye issues. Laser eye surgery can exacerbate dry eyes for some people. The creation of the corneal flap can disturb the nerve endings in the cornea, which may affect the natural production of tears. If you have dry eyes, it’s critical to manage your dry eye symptoms before and after the procedure. It might be helpful to reach out to your surgeon and let them know what you're experiencing. They are the best resource to address your specific situation and guide you through any necessary steps to ensure a successful recovery.

If that's the case, contact your surgeon to see what solutions they can offer. Sometimes top-up procedures are required.
