Hi Tim. Nice enjoy the tires but be easy on them when very cold or wet. I don't race i just ride chilled so i have no Problems. Anyway it is always with those long lasting tires. None are Perfect. But the GPS comes damn close.
Your English is just as good or even better than many Americans these days lol. I think I’ll be giving the Anakee Wilds a try this next go round as I don’t venture too far. I was impressed with the Karoo 4’s on my GSA but traded before I could see what mileage I could get out of them. By the tread depth loss, I’d guess around 4,000 miles from the rear.
I just did not like anymore to slip at the front. And as i need to get distance done on highways to reach some possible gravel or off-roading i needed a tire which lasts long and give some grip.
I have has exactly the same experience with the scorpion, lost the front end numerous times and flat spot on rear. I'll be giving this tyre a go now. Thank you 😊
A great tyre, nicknamed the Heidenau killer, maybe that's the reason you can't find them in Germany, they're protecting their Heidi's and Metzi's 😉. The GPS is reportedly better performing as the Scout with up to 25k km. I would like to have them myself but I' not sure as to whether I can fit them to my bike. At the moment I have Mitas E07+ which I still have to get " eigetragen" with the rear wheel as I have gone up in size. The Mitas should also be good for 15k kms.I'd say my riding style is similar to your's. At 72 I'm slowing down a bit 😉 Merry Christmas.
Wow, 72 and still rocking. I hope I'll be able to do that too. Regarding Germany, I don't have much knowledge about it since I don't live there. Currently, I get my Motoz tires from Spain. I've been using the Motoz E7 Dakar for the past two months. They're nice tires, but since I've mostly been riding on tarmac for these two months, they wear out quickly. However, they do perform better in wet conditions, I must say. I now have Motoz Adventure tires again in the garage, and I plan to put them on in January for my next longer trip where I'll need more grip than the GPS Tire offers. Thanks for your recommendations. I am putting a Motoz GPS on my 650 Suzuki Rear, but want something different on the front as my friend didn’t like it on his KTM790. I will go with the TKC80 on the front too I think. And your English is much better than my German 👍 Das ist nicht so gut 😅
Hi Rob. For me the best choice. Have the GPS now in reverse to test it more offroad in marocco. Definitely more grip but lower mileage i guess i will need a chance at around 16000 due to reverse mode .
Just checked your channel and did the bell :-) Awesome Videos. Real People Real Videos. Love that. Regrading in my Video I talked as well about the Motoz Adventure. Extrem good tires it pulled me around like a tractor. And the look on my scrambler was awesome. I took now 2 GPS because I will need to cover some distance. And it has been great. And offroad if flat. It pulls as well. Just need bit more throttle in the muddy parts. BTW do you have them as well on the front?

Ich habe den GPS drauf weil ich ja sehr sehr viele km fahre. Habe gerade deinen Channel besucht. Komisch habe keine Benachrichtigungen bekommen von YT. Habe nochmals die Klingel eingestellt. Very cool and honest review! Congrats!! I'm a big fan of Motoz! But I tend not to like 50/50 tires... so I never tried the GPS... My favourites are the Desert and the Rallz. I have also recently tried the Dunlop 908RR in the front and I'm marvelled with it! It has great traction off road and it's a lot more stable and quieter, on road. Keep up the good work!! Love them Motoz as well. Regarding 50/50 its is the moment enough for me. When flat it pulls even more. I just need to cover distances at the moment. That is why the 2nd GPS. I have to check the Dunlop. But I just saw on Motoz about their new front Tractionator DualVenture (TDV) looks good for me as well. Thanks for the praise 🏁
I been looking into this as the next tire I been running a shinko 705 but I put 12 to 14 thousand miles on my bike I feel like I'm always changing tires

Hello Steve. My First Valve check and big service I did with around 30.000 km just very minor adjust of 1 valve. The next big service will be in October probably at about 65.000km. Just had to change all brake discs. The big services I do with my Triumph Dealer. I brake enough riding Offroad. 😂🏁

Hi. Thanks for your kind comment.I ride very chilled on nobbie tires, what ever brand. This one was good to me. only first 500 km was bit tricky. After that no problem. Its just not a street tire but better than a full nobbie tire.

@@ScramblerTales you are referring to the Dual Venture. It is a great tire - especially if you change your own tires and don’t mind flipping it around three or four times between new tires - to even the wear. Kyle Bradshaw does this and easily gets over 7K miles / front GPS. But I don’t change my own tires. So I currently I think the GPS is the best combo between minimal trailing edge wear, and maximum dirt traction - all while maintaining strong street twisty traction, and decent mileage. I expect to get 9k miles out of it, but will replace it at 6k - just because I don’t want to cut into that bottom third tread. And with this tire, you can afford to. In the video, I was running them normally. During last year's trip, a 3-month journey through Morocco, I was running a new GPS in reverse. I didn't feel a major difference with a pressure of 2.8 bar, but at 1.6-1.8 bar, there was a difference in grip. Contrary to what most people say, and what I've also experienced, they are slippery when cold and in wet conditions, but I don't mind that, as I'm not racing or taking sharp corners. Currently, I'm on a 4-month trip in Tunisia using the Adventure, extremely knobby tires that I think will last me 15,000 km, maybe more. They provide massive grip. In the Sahara, I was glad to have them. They perform like a tank. Other than that, I will not use any other brand on my rear, as they last so long, especially with gear and my weight. This is all my personal Opinion. I Am not sponsored in any way from Motoz or any other brand.

Regarding the GPS, it's a bit slippery on the sides when the tarmac is wet. However, I usually ride with lots of gear and weight, and the GPS lasts the longest for me. It's there for me when I need to get out of trouble during light off-roading. I ride very chilled as I need to get from A to B on longer trips. As for the adventure tire, it's just a beast offroad. Like every big knobby tire, it performs not like a street tire on wet tarmac, throttle with respect when it's wet. Both tires are great for me and what I ride and what I use them for, especially considering the longevity with all my gear.
Hi, thank you for the good review. I'm interested in the Motoz GPS or Adventure. I'm from Holland and as you said in order to be able to do some off road we have spend many km on tarmac. Next year I'm planning to do ACT Portugal. From what I understood the GPS is the better option as it is beter on tarmac and performs good enough off road. It can handle both ACT and TET. About durability. Doesn't the Motoz Adventure tyre also has a long durability? And what is the reason you have a different brand for the front instead of the Motoz GPS? Krgds Ray
Hi Raymond. Thanks for kind comment. The Adventure is of course much much better than the GPS its like a tractor pushing you forward in any conditions. Love that tire. ( I got 8000 km from it, with 2-3 mm left over) And will put it on again when i am not traveling as much km like now. I would say if you messing around on the TET close to you like a 1000 km trip. You will get at lease 3 good trips from it. But of course all that depends on your throttle. Iam a very laid back rider. I just use power when i need it. Overtaking on Highways and in Tuff Terrain on the trails. Do not ride fast. On Highways i ride between 100km to 1200 km/h. Us max pressure on tarmac. Ride easy in rain. Regarding the front. I had before a Scorpion on the front, but it always put me down especially when wet / muddy or on grass. My riding buddy had the TKC 80 on front and had zero problems like me. His Bike is a KTM 990 ADV. Somehow same weight same rider skills. So I gave the TKC80 as well a try and my problems stopped. No more slipping of the front. Very happy now. Motos has as well a new front tire "Tractionator DualVenture" I might try that as well for the next front tire change. But Iam happy with the TKC80 at the moment. Iam very delayed with my videos at the moment. I still have ton of videos to edit , which are all on the GPS and TKC80. Like riding the ACT Italy. More french and italy TET. In March I go for a 5 Weeks run to do Portugal / Spain and possible Marocco..Where I will use GPS as well because will be at least a 8000km Trip and I do not like to go on a tire hunt during that time.

The front i use only TKC80 it did almost 12.ooo km on it. But had to change it because the quality of the rubber got bad. Was still some 3-4 mm left over. Sand I do not know. I did not ride any long rides on sand yet. But I think it can handle it. If you are thinking GPS you can put it wrong way around which will give you even more traction. I will do that for the Portugal Trip. With all what I say Raymond. Keep in mind I do not Speed Iam not a professional motocross racer. You go Fast on traffic light and so on.. Its sure different tire ranges. And of course the Motorbike you ride. On my bike the rear is more heavy and the front due to the high suspension has less weight on the front. Thats why I think I can ride the front much longer. It really depends on the Bike also and weight of gear you take and so on.

Yes the scorpion front was a disaster for me offroad. Try the tkc80 in front and gps in back. So happy with that setup

You should try the GPS front tire. I find the GPS front to be superior to the TKC-80 front …
