Nice review of a great looking bike. If you bought one wouldn't you just be saying you couldn't afford its bigger brother?
I owned the original 1200 Multistrada in 2011. It had issues.....lots. keyless, who actually thinks it's a great idea? It stranded me in the middle of Wales. Way too many expensive electronic gimmicks you don't need. Don't get me wrong, my Ducati was sweet handling, fast and exciting. Loved it for a while until all the problems, breakdowns and issues just became too much.
Thanks! I guess it would depend on budget as to whether to get the 1260 over this. I agree on the keyless thing. Seems a bit pointless to me! I've never owned a Ducati so cant comment on reliability. I know they used to have a bit of a reputation but wonder if that's improved since Audi took over? Thanks for watching!

What can you say about wind protection? The camera seemed to pick up quite a lot of wind noise, albeit mounted on the chest.
Hi. It was a fairly windy day (common in that high area of the peaks) but I found the screen did a good job. Didn't feel the wind to be honest. Thanks for watching!

In Netherlands it's 20k euro which is 17.5k pounds! Taxes are suffocating! You can't save up anything! You have to save up 4 years to be able to buy this bike! 4 faking years!
Some people say it vibrates a lot,is it true?
Hi, I wouldn't it say it vibrates a lot. Just like a normal v twin really. I didn't feel many vibes through the bars or pegs. Thanks for watching!

My local dealer have a 17/18 heavyly discounted. I want the 19 but am confused if the extra 4k is worth it.

@@bikerpaul100 so far the quick shifter ,led light and skyhook are major differences. Thanks for the reply.
The skyhook seemed very good on the model I tested but I dont think this, the QS and the light are worth the extra 4k. Hope you get the bike you want!

Love the bike except spoked wheels. Kind of a deal breaker for me unless I'm willing to spend money for an alloy mag swap. I don't know...🤔 I know many prefer spoked but I believe they are heavier and just not my taste.
You can get it without spoked wheels and from what I remember the alloy wheel version is cheaper. Thanks for watching!
@@bikerpaul100 I watched another guy review the bike as well. He noted the spoke wheels are heavier than the alloy wheels and also mentioned that only the spoked wheels would be available in the US...where I am. I don't know if true for sure but have only seen the spoked wheels on the M'strada 950 in the stores here. I'll have to investigate buying and cost of the other wheels. I could live with spokes for awhile but would want to swap before long.
@@MisterSuki ah that's a shame, dont know why Ducati wouldn't have the non spoke version in the US! Hope you manage to get the bike and find some good wheels!
