I haven't understood a single word of this video since subtitles wasn't working on premiere. But I want to say this: I tested the original Multistrada V4 S back in 2021, and that bike is soooo good at everything, that, I believe, it's the best versatile motorcycle in the world nowadays. It's not perfect, but it's as close to it as one can get so far. And trust me: I've tested A LOT of different motorcycles in my life, including the flagship bikes of almost all of the major brands. But none was even remotely as good as the Multistrada V4 S. And, yes, it's WAY much better than KTM 1290 Super Adventure S and BMW S1000XR - that bikes are not even in the same league to be honest. Too bad I'm broke - so I don't know if I'll ever be able to afford Ducati myself. But I envy all Multistrada V4 owners: you are the luckiest riders in the world. You did the right choice.
The BMW S1000XR is not a competitor for the Multistrada, the BMW 1250/1300 GS is and the GS slaps the Multistrada. You tried bikes are aren't even in the same price bracket as the Multistrada and made up your conclusion.
@@Jimmyjonesjunior, KTM 1290 Super Adventure R is not the best bike offroad - any light dual sport single would be better, easier, and significantly cheaper for that. And on the road (where all adventure bikes spend 90%+ of their mileage anyway) SA R is bad - even worse than the SA S. And we all know how unreliable KTMs are (yes, 1290 included). So what's the point buying 1290 SA R then? To show off? If I wanted to buy an adventure bike with real offroad capabilities - I'd take the Honda Africa Twin: they're great both on and off road. They're also comfortable and dependable - unlike KTMs. Also cheaper.
@@Waldo1122, I've tested the R1250GS as well, and, comparing with Multistrada V4, GS only slaps itself. MTS V4's comfort, handling, speed, sound, and feel are hands down the best in the big adventure bikes segment so far - BMW are not even close to that. R1250GS is a good bike for commuting - I liked it. But it isn't great. And Multistrada V4 is. R1250GS doesn't make anyone feel special. Multistrada V4 does.
@motocritic Well yes light dual sports and the AT are better offroad, but the context of my response was meant to be within the confines of the large ADV segment. I personally want a nice combination of power, comfort, and offroadability. In my opinion, the larger KTM R's give me a nice blend based on my preferences. I already have an XR 400 R and a KTM 1290 Duke. I'd like something in between, and maybe sell both. I'm just not racing as much as I used to. If I wanted to "show off" I'd get a ducati lol.
I love my Multistrada 1260S, but am now very tempted to upgrade to the new Pikes Peak. Congratulations Ducati, you make some fantastic bikes. Keep it up!
The lighter wheels, suspension updates , bigger rear brake and lighting improvements are useful - but my 2024 Grand Tour does all I need - was perfect over my 4000 mile tour in June and provides local fun too. The only update I really had hoped for would be getting rid of the horrible Sygic sat-nav abomination.
Very good balance of high-level content and low-level details. This video allows me to better appreciate the technical content and the intrinsic value of the multistrada 2025 which I am currently looking at for the next season. I’d suggest to produce similar videos for the other models too. Last but not least, don’t get me wrong, but deactivare and detectare spoiled a bit this great video. Keep it up. Thank you
Does the WET mode and the Front Collision Alert come via update to 2024 model also? Are there any other features be possible via update to older models?

Fantastic to see all the fine improvements in the MY25. One remark: change that sloppy Sygic navigation system. This is way below all other standards. It’s complicated, limited, inflexible… there’s so much better solutions
Why dont you guys give us what we really want. The base V4S engine, single sided swing arm, and ability to run SuperCorsas w/ the front. Hot damn its a lifted sport bike. THATS ALL I WANT!

I recently rode the pikes peak v4 and loved the way it handled and the performance from that smooth v4 engine , but the handle bar postion was strange and from the seat to.the foot pegs felt cramped , the electronic suspension and the race mode was great and riding with a passenger wax effortless. Overall enjoyed riding the 2024 bike , but the handles bars and foot rests works need changing for me to be comfortable on it
The people are prettier than the bikes. Underwhelming really. Every year it's a new multi. I was hoping for a new multi v2. Be much better off road too.

Hahahaaaa I set off a moto cop who called for another moto cop, who then called for an undercover who tried to ground me in a stacked intersection, when i rolled into the dealer only to find to cops on foot exit the store and start running after me after i made a u in the parking lot to call for another undercover who tried to ground me on the sidewalk! I then set off a 'cruiser" in the bushes oye very... I take a call on my cop "dude are you coming in for your service?" Um 🤔 Seeing how the cops came out of your store for me NO🤪 Ahhh true story. 😎 Both of us have chops. I pull of the most wonderful mahem on Ducati's 😍

Tengo una MULTISTRADA 950S Y es una pasada, pero considero que los precios salen de ORVITA!! Ya que todo lo que lleva y debería de llevar cualquier vehículo de 4 ruedas, ( COCHE) Lo lleva, la mía lo tiene todo y vale cerca de 18000eu, pero es vergonzoso, que por querer ponerle la abertura del deposito me quisieron cobrar mas de 200 eu entre otras cosas. Eso si la disfruto y me encanta....Pero DUCATI RECUERDEN UNA COSA...PREMIUN SOMOS LOS CLIENTES, No las MARCAS. No abusen tanto de los precios!! Un saludo.

I recently rode my 2018 UK Multistrada Pikes Peak 9,500 across the USA. The bike was amazing in all areas and didn't miss a beat the the entire trip.

It's the best do it all bike if you don't care about going offroad. If you care about going offroad, KTM R (not S) all day.

Totally agree. Sygic is the worst! They need to fix this or go with another app/program.
