For me this is the anthem of love and pain. Every time I'm listening this masterpiece I feel like theres is so much love in my heart that it could explode.
I really like this kind of environment. Light, delicate, subtle, filigree. I've been listening to Mr. Eno for twenty years and I'm still delighted. Great vibes! I especially enjoy listening to this ambient in the evening and at night. Thank you that you exist, Mr. Eno.
Always makes me think of an old school friend of mine who has long ruined himself with drugs and alcohol .. One of the most intelligent people I ever knew, but was ruined by his abusive dad. I have not seen him in 12 years and despite the path he chose and the way we parted, I still miss him. Such a sad and profound piece of music. Heart breaking 💔
Yes, so many of Eno's music makes me cry. It really fills my heart. Reminds me of me and my dad. Now I wished it could have been a better realationship. Even though he has been dead for 7 yrs, and that im an an atheist. i do think there is a Human Spirituality. Or is there?
this is one of my favorite Eno tunes. This proves the man is a genius. This song is infinitely soothing, ethereal, and celestial. As soon as the synth comes in, the transcendental beauty just takes you away, it's so atmospheric yet gorgeous.
...it works also driving through Italy. When I drive from west to east coast and cross the hills and the sea appears while the sunrise...then tears fills my eyes for the beauty of this world and this perfect soundtrack...
excellent. aprés le boulot, seul le soir, une clope, une biere,ça me détend. brian eno fait partie de ceux qui arrivent à dresser mes poils sur les avant-bras. c'est tout simplement beau. et pour le clip,on est en plein dedans .
ohh god ..memories come back ...blessing and painfull at the same time damn ..if I could only tempararely switch off my emotions ..ahh .. This one is from another green world if i'mm not mistaken thanks for posting ..and thans mr. eno for tickling yr synth collection peace .. see y'all there
funny, I was thinking about making a vid for "Spider and I" when I was out walking the dog today. stumbled across this on the UA-cam recommended vids, first time I've heard it. thanks for uploading your creation.
absolutely. Eno's work inspired so many of the ambient/electronica albums of today's music. Although Slowdive deserves credit for being one of the first 90s bands to pick up on his sound and expand it, then Radiohead
Thank you AKMAC82, your words do give some solace to me. I really think that the 'Buddha Nature' of all beings is WAY beyond our conceptualization. WAY. Yet, somehow some of us get it (or at least a tiny glimpse of it) One Day we will put it all behind.
@thegouster I think I was. In fact, hearing the whole 'Another Green World' Album for the first time was an amazing experience. That was true for many others as well I believe, including one of my other Heroes (excuse the pun), David Bowie, as it was on hearing AGW that he decided he wanted to work with Eno. Great memories.
its a question that might not have a specific answer. perhaps we (humans) are not supposed to know because its all part of something completely and utterly out of our grasp...my apologies if overstepped any boudaries, I read your comment and thought a response might be of comfort. my brother just turned me onto Eno's solo stuff here..really cool. kinda reminds me of Vangelis' Blade Runner soundtrack
@weezadam I thought slowdive originated it, but then found eno. Nevertheless, 'Miranda' by Slowdive and 'An Ending' by eno, played back-to-back, have an equally powerful effect on the emotions. If you know of any other tracks by other artists that compare to those two, please send me a message :) peace
What album is this from? I've been looking for what I can get next of Brian Eno's music - after being totally impressed with Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks.
thanks for the advice... the palm trees couldn't have turned out more what i had in mind however... this is the first time i've ever done anything like this ever, so it's not supposed to be good haha :) i'll make more if the mood strikes me :)
The images really augment the serenity of the music. This is one of my all time favourite pieces of music--it actually gives me chills. I did a video set to "The Big Ship"--check it out if yer interested.
Good stuff! The vid could have been more 'professional' but it would lose it's charm. 'Another Green World' is a beautiful album - my fave track is 'The Big Ship' - in fact I'm listening to it as I type :o)
@Subadai111 spirituality is a great idea, but there's just no physical evidence, in my mind it is the memories of someone left behind that you your self remember and retain, to me that's their spirit
Scenery is nice, but you should not play around with the camera/tripod all the time. Make still views and let the tape roll, stop and then reframe. Also use manual exposure to avoid under-exposure (palm trees). Bring some more!
For me this is the anthem of love and pain. Every time I'm listening this masterpiece I feel like theres is so much love in my heart that it could explode.
God this song is beautiful
This music is so beautiful it makes grown men cry.
This is the best music to take a road trip and listen to. Everytime I drove from Arizona to California I would listen to this! Try it sometime!
Ever since you uploaded this, since the beginning of youtube, I've been coming back to this. Thank you :)

Way ahead of its time. Beautiful music and video, good job.
This is on the playlist I give massage by to my clients. Great - have followed Eno since the 80s....

Beautiful footage to accompany the track. Perfect.

I loved this record when I very first heard it. Now almost 40 years later it is still just as Beautiful, Haunting and Moving as it was then.
Adam Curtis' The Trap brought me here, I'm ever so grateful. Man sure loves his Eno.
Nice work with a really beautyfull song
Man, all of this Brian Eno stuff REALLY explains Kid A.
thank you :)
the song is called "Becalmed" from Another Green World
Beautiful. Thanks
...it works also driving through Italy. When I drive from west to east coast and cross the hills and the sea appears while the sunrise...then tears fills my eyes for the beauty of this world and this perfect soundtrack...
This song is so minimal yet it speaks to me in such a complex emotional way. Excellent job on this video, by the way. Five stars.
One of my favorites from Another Green World! Amazing track!

Wow, that fit the music so well. At times I felt like I was soaring over the water as the waves washed towards the shore.
como anillo al dedo
sobrecogedor!

The video is great!:) I love Eno... His music is so ambient.
Yes, thank you!
So you think this is not beautiful? I'm sorry but this is a master piece, I absolutely love this.
this is easily one of the best ambient/elctronic songs i have ever heard
Thank you.
Very nice and peaceful. Thank you., joanie
wonderful! ty!
Hearing this on this video's 14th anniversary. That melancholy California sunset has arrived.

gorgeous.... you have some talent there my friend.
Music that the Angels in Heaven pause for...............
Soooooooooo calming :)
Same here. Heard this in The Trap and just had to find it.
Une très belle pièce de Another Green World.
@MrJambug wow so lucky to get to hear it upon its release
Very calming!!

Amazing footage, mate

I feel sorry for the people that haven't heard this.
thank you very much :)
If we're talking about Eno's influence, everyone should type Boards of Canada into the search bar... put on some headphones and be transported.
I was feeling the same
great idea! i shall think about that one for sure :)
the big ship is one of my favourites! thanks for the comment
thanks, thom yorke :)

Music that needs no vid. Just close your eyes and let your imagination work.
Wahay! This was on The Trap! Cheers big ears!
one word = escapism
@Nomis2779 thank you!!!

waves . love in rays, i will love, the d3ad as they float, in emptiness.
@weezadam slowdrive eh? I'll have to look in to it. It's clear that this guy has had a big impact on a lot of folks.
Brian Eno ispiracao de ontem, amanha e depois
@Thehood666
My favorite track off of "Another Green World".
I watch this when stargazing with my telescope :)
Eno plays the sound of the secrets landscapes hide in each soul...he's more then a genius, he's absolutely in tune with human's feels...great!!
What album is this from? I've been looking for what I can get next of Brian Eno's music - after being totally impressed with Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks.
Dang, I forgot to mention the video is called H2O.
thanks for the advice... the palm trees couldn't have turned out more what i had in mind however... this is the first time i've ever done anything like this ever, so it's not supposed to be good haha :)

@Subadai111 spirituality is a great idea, but there's just no physical evidence, in my mind it is the memories of someone left behind that you your self remember and retain, to me that's their spirit
@bufon63 they did create beautiful things together, but this is not with harold budd
zohra82 je suis d'accord !! heureusement que je sais aimer la musique sans forcément avoir une biere à la main, lol .
Scenery is nice, but you should not play around with the camera/tripod all the time. Make still views and let the tape roll, stop and then reframe. Also use manual exposure to avoid under-exposure (palm trees). Bring some more!
Sea of thieves brought me to the wrong place
But along the same lines? Cause Brian Eno sorta dips into different styles, for different albums, doesn't he?
This would be a great piece of music at the end of a TV stations broadcasting day or Che Guevara's 1998 funeral.
fuck that commie shitbag
Be quiet Tiffany.
