O'Connor's Pub: Doolin, Ireland

We had road tripped from the North to the South of Ireland that day... a loong day in the car. We finally arrive in the tiny town of Doolin: a gem of a place hidden amongst the highland hills along the west coast close to the Cliff's of Mohr.. a very easy town to miss in a blink of an eye. We settled in to our small bed and breakfast... being girls we got all freshened up and dressed for a casual night on the town. Feeling hungry and ready for a huge meal and beer, we disovered that O'Connor's pub was the only place open on this particular night BUT the kitchen was closed! Filled up on beer that night and were the last ones to leave. Yup! We out drank the Irish that night!
I am so happy I captured this video: a true feel of a real small town Irish pub. The musicians just meet up, take over a booth, drink and play music. Real down to earth guys out for a drink and living the simple life.
