Konstablerwache is a central square in the centre of Frankfurt am Main and part of its pedestrian zone. It lies to the east of Hauptwache with both squares linked by the Zeil, the central shopping area of the city.
Konstablerwache Wochenmarkt is Frankfurt’s largest outdoor grocery market, where the farmers’ market held every Thursday and Saturday at Konstablerwache. Here, one finds fresh regional products to take home or enjoy on site. The market is also a popular meeting place for Frankfurt locals, who come here to enjoy a glass or two of apple wine or the latest regional vintages.

Es musste sehr frueh gewesen sein, der Markt ist noch relativ leer.
Lieder weil ich im Ausland wohne, kann ich nur geringe Portionen Feinkost kaufen und tragen. Zudem das Problem, dass ich schon was im Kleinmarkthalle was besorgt habe.
Seit 20 Jahrern schmuggelte ich bei jedem Besuch Sachen aus den Maerkte ein. Es leben Wasserweck, Bierbeisser und Schweinshaxe!
Leider sind die Bedingungen der Flughafen FRA entsetzlich geworden.
For the benefit of English speakers, you really should visit the market. It's great! You can buy ham, cheese, tomatoes and bread, walk down to the river and make lunch, or just have a wurst and some wine or beer there. It can become quite busy after it opens. It might have changed, but usually the shops prefer cash. There are honey and fur shops, but make sure you are allowed to take it to your home country.
I order everything in my really bad German, but if you get stuck with English, someone will help you.
Hey, many thanks for your comment and sharing your experience! For me also the Kleinmarkthalle is definetely one of the best market in to source delicious delicacy or just to drop by for lunch, snacks and coffee time. People should visit this market while in Frankfurt. :)
