Pretty cool, I actually have a 7th gen myself and I did the steering wheel swap about two years ago with a carbon fiber steering wheel from a 7th gen but knowing this I'll probably do this swap again but with an 8th gen carbon fiber steering wheel. I've only seen another 7th gen with this current swap you just did and it looked beautiful. Nice job on the max.
I did mine couple of days ago, with 2019 steering wheel, on the base model, the cruise control won’t work and down bottom left and right not functioning. I had to take the old switches for the cruise control and replace some parts due the resistance difference, you need to find a smart Electrician to do it, now it’s functioning correctly
Even in your video the cruise control is flashing, so when you check through OBD, you will get an error, the solution is to replace the resistance of the board, in the digital multimeter the old one read 2.2 as a resistant the new one read 2.4 which will make the cruise control flashing means you can’t use it, second in the circuit board the buttons have numbers follow the printed lines and replace the old resistor in the new board
Quick question so I just saw this video and it’s super cool I tried the links you gave in the description they don’t seem to work anymore is it possible if you may find the new links for me to buy these?
I got mines from rym auto parts just contact them about it if you buy an airbag from them, on eBay thru other sellers but will cost abit more than rym auto parts or local salvage/junk yard doesn’t matter if the airbag blown just need the springs, but Nissan will not sell just the springs they will tell you you need to buy the whole airbag
I just followed you on TikTok. Will it be possible to do a remote start in the nearest future? I’ve the 2010 platinum but without remote start and would like to add one. I like how your videos are well put together and understanding.
@@ScorpionMultimediahi, pretty sure you did some work around to get the cc working? I swapped mine today & the cc signs keeps blinking. Any insights on this? Tia!

@@ScorpionMultimediaif you can get that working let me know ASAP!
That’s a great idea
Thanks for this bro..I’m definitely going to do this to my 2013 max
You’re welcome 🙏🏼
Hah did this to my 5th gen 3.5l altima so dope to see another owner doing the same swap cheers
Sweet and thank you 🙏🏼
Does everything work? Thinking about doing this to my 2016 Altima SL
@Joshcapers yes everything works as it should it plug and play
@@JoshcapersMake sure you get a steering wheel from a SL level trimmed Maxima so you don't loose your heated wheel function but all plug and play
Does the airbag need to be programed to the car or is it plug n play?

I have the 4th gen Altima , what years can I swap it with??
Which plug is for the heat feature?
I just got mine and accidentally put it in crooked. When I went to take it off to fix it a left a clip plugged in and it pulled out the clock spring 😢

So question for you, if I wanted to swap mine in my 7th gen, where would I get the springs from?

I just did this to my 7th gen however when I go to turn the wheel it sounds almost like sandpaper and doesn't spin freely? Would anyone know why?
Great vid!! Just wondering if this is possible on a 5th gen maxima? If so, what years would allow me to do so? Thanks in advance!
where did you get that apple carplay at? i’ve been looking for a while
where’s the red push to start button from ??
From the Nissan GTR Part #: 25151-JF00A
Appreciate the video. Will be doing the same soon

Thank You 🙏🏼, possibly I'll look into the remote start
@@Benigan215 so they have plug and play remote starts I out 1 in my 2010 it's made by evo Fortin but they also have them on Amazon as well I love it
Will this wrk in the s model
what year wheel is that?
Do you think will work if you have the 7th gen without the paddle shifters?
Yeah it will
Hey which part number do you have for the steering wheel
For the heated here is the part number: 48430-9DJ0A
Thanks
You’re welcome
Hey what are the part numbers for both parts?
I have it in the description
Can this work on a Nissan Altima coupe ?
I’m not 100% sure but if all the connections are the same then yes
Do the 2 lower left buttons work? ⬅️➡️
Yes everything works
Does the heated wheel function still work?
yes
It only works if you get the correct 8th GEN steering wheel. There are some models that do not have heat feature and some that do.
Does your cruise control work?
Yes
