I started perimenopause at 33. Had a baby at 36 and got thrown out until I was 40 and then restarted it... And since 54 (now almost 57) hard menopause.
All I can tell everyone is too reduce your sugar. Reduce your carbs, increase your sea salt. Increase your intake of citrus and berries...
My hot flashes have almost disappeared because of the increase in salt and the increase in citrus..
menopause caused my blood pressure to go up from 124 over 78 to 170/106.. but when I got rid of the sugar and started taking the salt, it is now going back down to 134 over 85. You should have about 2000 to 3,000 mg of salt a day...

Please don't give medical advice! Most people if they get 3 grams of salt per day will get kidney stones. There are no two identical bodies. Just let people know that they should consult with a doctor

Ten seconds in I noticed the wig, but just chalked it up to a medical issue...cancer, perhaps. And right away I found myself thinking how good it must feel to take it off when she gets home, and why bother with it at all? I was delighted when she finally whipped it off...she looks fabulous!!! Rock that buzz cut, baby!!!

I currently have a shaved head. I was losing hair due to a new chemo regiment so I decided to just shave it off. Second time I’ve had it done. I just wear a hat, I can’t pull off wigs, plus good ones are expensive.
I really miss Dry Bar showing full comedy shows. These little 10 min clips just don’t do it for me, and I usually don’t watch them. But I watched all of the full episodes, including the very old ones. I know the yt algorithm prefers shorter videos, but if one is following you, longer ones still show up on their feed. And I get recommended videos that are longer all the time from accounts I don’t follow, so they are still getting promoted.

Great show! Thanks for the laughs. Ditching the wig would mess with the joke. I hope you don't wear it all the time. I'm sure you've had tons of unsolicited advice, but you sound like you could use a sliver of hope. Look up Dr. Ken Berry, Dr Kiltz, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Anthony Chaffee on UA-cam. There are many more, but they advocate the same thing, and I have never felt better in my entire adult life and never plan to go back to how I was living before! Heather is beautiful without her wig. I watch her shorts on fb & she does them without a wig quite ofren. I had a complete hysterectomy at age 28 (my insides were messed up from multiple issues). Although my surgeon warned me, she didn't say enough about what I'd go thru. At one point, i thought my husband was trying to drive me crazy. I went from happy to sad to angry like a switch. The night sweats & hot flashes were horrible for many years. I dressed in layers so I could strip wherever. Surgical menopause fives you the condition all at once! There's no transition! It's a nightmare!

Spider veins, another fun part of being an old woman. I worked at a summer school and we had to go on a swimming field trip. More than one child asked, "What is that? on my legs." Then another child said, "That looks like Groot." I said, "Oh, yeah, I can transform into a tree." These 5 year olds looked at me like I was magical the rest of the summer! Meanwhile I am reminded everyday I look at my legs, and I don't feel very magical. ❤️‍🩹 Kidding, it's like every other day.
