@@jollygrapefruit786 well they’ve always been good at making and structuring catchy songs but I get how non gizzard fans would find a song like Rattlesnake a little much
I love the album but don't think number of hooks is a great way to look at it. Not to take away from them but Blame It On The Weather, Persistence and Presumptuous are all pretty repetitive, let's be honest
And then he gave it another 6 again lmao. I mean I sorta get not digging all the mixing and matching and how some songs feel like B-Sides, but come on this album is cool.
There seems to be a pretty straightforward split where people either think it sounds like early 90s beastie boys and enjoy it, or people (like melon) think it sounds like early 00s nu metal and hate it
Scott Weber I am in the first camp and think it’s pretty good but it’s not my favourite style they’ve dipped into. They managed to pull it off but not sure how much more of it I want. Never thought about the nu metal comparison but thankfully the instrumental isn’t anything like that. Where did melon say it sounds like nu metal?
Stu's "wooo's" are crucial to the sound of KGATLW
people saying skip ambergris how dare they
I KNOW
Ikr it’s one of the best for sure
They wanted him to listen to Sadie Sorceress I think
@@Meervo they wanted to know what opinion to have on it
I have a feeling it might become an extremely slept on track
Really love the new album. Best gizz’s been for a long time
Best since butterfly….oh wait
As someone who really had fun with the hiphop in OG, watching Fantano thoroughly troll chat was amazing
These songs are a lot different than the old king gizzard, not many repetitive hooks anymore which shows how much their songwriting has matured
There's nothing wrong with hooks. If KGLW wanted to they could make a killer pop album.

@@hippiecheezburger5457 true. I find Catching Smoke to be their most catchy song
@@jollygrapefruit786 catchins smoke is such a good song butterfly shanghai too

Hahahaha I enjoy the rap and figured he'd hate it, but honestly fair play for absolutely bodying chat like that
I love how during ambergris everyone in chat was begging to play sadie sorceress lmao

I’m glad I’m not the only brainrotted person here

I get a lot of old school beastie boys in this album - punk, hiphop, rock, jazz
Ambergris > Sadie Sorceress, chat.
Ambergris is unmatched
19:35 EXCUSE ME WHAT IS THAT SENTENCE IN CHAT
I thought you were talking about the "play Minecraft" message for a second.... Then the actual sentence came up 😐
Everyone like “Skip Ambergris!! Play Sadie Sorceress!! Ambrose Raps! Durr GizzHop” 🤡🤡
lmao fr, ambergris is one of the best grooves on the whole album, and i knew fantano would appreciate the bassline
Now I don’t know what opinion to have on Sadie sorceress
Just have your own

ah careca safado, até na hora de elogiar um álbum do king gizzard, ele dá um jeito de criticar o anterior kkkk maldito melão

Doing It Stealthy helps me to process my feelings about 9/11.
Amber gris = Sebastien Tellier's like
whats that weird/disgusting sniffy thing that Fantono keeps doing.
Coke?

Cocaines a helluva drug - Sir Rick James
Doing It Stealthy by Oloff is one of those songs that makes you rethink life... Yeah, I've gotta make some changes.
How much coke did you do bro? Be honest lol I see all the tendencies
For some reason, “Turn this off, bro, you’re scaring the hoes…” triggered the hell out of Fantano
ambergris is fantastic & i’m glad fantano didn’t waste his time on sadie sorceress lol
I listen to Doing It Stealthy whilst debating climate change with my grandfather. I always win.
