You are wonderful!!! Could you teach me how to pronounce the following words: stopped, slept, roped, slipped and wiped? I am confused with /pt/ ending. eg: We stopped and slept for a while. Sometimes when I hear the native speaker say about those words, I can not hear the /p/, but only /t/. Is /p/ silent?

Hello Ronnie, I have a lot of questions, I hope you can talk about at least one of these:
-words ending gth, gt, ght (I always mistaken with them)
    -difference between who and whom
-Hyphens, I don't understand how you used them.

I still have problems with those vowels. With words like: cap, cop, cup or bat, bot, but, butt, or cat, cut, or hat, hot, hut, staff, stuff and well, you get the point. If I try hard I could make them sound a little different, but when someone uses them, I have to guess the word from the context, rather than from the sound.

I found the k(i.e. expect) keeps silence in US English, but sounds in UK English.
In my subconscious they are two different pronunciation, often mislead me.
If I prepare for the IELTS, Which one should I remember?
