    That Chop is a lot of knife for the price. Especially with the sanmai and copper.

      @CopeWERX I saw vu pham's video & liked the style to look them up. The metal makeup sld steel was harder to find out what it was

    Found this video because I had seen this exact same knife and i am very interested in picking one up but was trying to look up more information about it and the company anyways please tell me what knife is on your mat on the right side just below the frag corgi? Almost looks like a Serge design but cant really tell.

    • @CopeWERX
      @CopeWERX  3 місяці тому

      Correct it is a Serge Panchenko design. It is the Boker Plus Lancer all copper scales with a steel liner lock and S35vn steel. Thanks for checking out my video!

      OK yeah I know that knife. Wish they were available. Like it so much more than the gust because of it being a liner lock. I have a bunch of copper knives but I won't buy any frame locks because I think it looks so tacky having only one side being copper. So far I have 7 copper knives and one brass. I'm serious considering picking this up because I noticed it's on sale if you buy it from the website instead of where I originally saw it on ebay. Anyways thanks for the info

    How strong is the detent? I usually prefer stronger detents and i know button locks can be weak sometimes

    • @CopeWERX
      @CopeWERX  4 місяці тому

      You arent shaking it open. Its not hard to actuate but I own several button locks and I think this is slightly stiffer then most button locks

    • @scootle74
      @scootle74 2 місяці тому

      The detent is pretty strong. You can't shake it open easily and pinching the blade to pull it open has a very distinct detent-force holding it shut.

    • @CopeWERX

      Vosteed Corgi (copper frag)

      Probably a Chinese OEM factory making these for an American company

    • @CopeWERX
      @CopeWERX  3 місяці тому +1

      They are the OEM.
      From: North Mountain Blade IG account
      “We are an independent factory and we seek OEM services from other brands. We have been OEMing for Japanese tool brands for more than ten years. Many products labeled "Made in Japan" are actually made by us.”

      My searching indicates their steel is sourced from near Osaka, Japan (where many, if not most, Japanese knives are manufactured), but the parent company/factory is somewhere in China (PayPal payment went to a Chinese-based entity) -- the dealer is located in Riverside, CA.
