how do you know that 171.84 is with tax? you aren't multiplying or dividing anything with the 7% sales tax. I don't understand.
Good Question! That's me imagining what it would be like before accounting for the 7% sales tax, but I have to account for it by dividing by 1.07. So it's like what the price at 161.53 becomes after the 7% is added on.

The price you could pay goes down because you have to add the sales tax and you have a limit on amount you can pay. Does that make sense?
