I had the originals off ebay when they came out. Saw the SLAM magazine cover and i was like daamnn i need these. Ended up throwin em in the trash after years cause the outsole was done, before i knew u could resole Nike's... one of my life's biggest regret.
Shoe always looked good. Still have my OG pair.

One of the colorways that I vividly remember from 2009 is the “Inline” one ,which has become my favorite. I will probably buy if they were to release those
I dount they release..so im probably going to have to buy at resale🙄..but the kobe 4 finals mvp(away)..the ones that came out with his stats in gold going around the shoes..those were so fire..and favorite kobe of all time

I can't say that the typo hurt overall sales because I have no idea/statistics but one thing for sure is that it did stop me from buying the Del Sols.
Sure, a retro is cool but since I'm not a Kobe fan and don't have nostalgia towards the shoes themselves either, I need a real merit, a real "Protro" to shell out $175. Nice try Nike, just do it better next time!
I remember owning 2 of these back in the day. They had zoom air in the heel and lunarlon all throughout which bottoms out after a few months of heavy use.
I had to cop these. One of favorite Kobe’s of all time. These and the 5’s. Couldn’t get them when they first came out so had to get them second go round

just got them, honestly i dont mind it not having full length zoom, i like the bounciness of the phylon and its adequate enough for me
The number 1 thing that has stopped me from picking up a pair is the $175 price point.
The Del Sol’s did not release here in the Ph. 😅
I think the zoom air mess up bummed a lot of people who were excited for that full length zoom when they made the release. I’m 100% bummed and got disinterested when that happened, I was so stoked last year when weartesters said that the IV was next. 😅
Draft Day cw is my 2nd favorite cw next to the Finals cw. 👌🏽

The originals had a soft cushion foam in the front and zoom in the back
The OG had Lunarlon in the forefoot, Phylon midsole, and heel Zoom Air.

whats good bro? sucks that u weren't able to get your size. I was able to grab the Del Sol's and made a vid of them in my channel. Saw these earlier in person, I think quality and craftsmanship the DS is better but materials on these CPs better.

That's one of my favorite Kobe shoes.
Unfortunately, synthetic leather cracks over time. That's why I still prefer real ones.

Before you make judgement, please fact check what I say first. Synthetic leather has gotten to the point where by many if not all objective measurement it is the better material. Veganism is about not forcing a cow in India to walk hundreds of kilometers, breaking their tails, putting chilli in their eyes, and other abuse to force them to walk just so they get their necks slash in the end and die a slow death. Help the environment and the animals by buying synthetic leather. Again check the facts. Be well. ❤️

About the synthetic leather sticker...I was thinking initially maybe it's an indicator for fly leather, but they would opening promote that. Then when you mentioned vegans...a lightbulb went off. I honestly think that might be the reason, and if it really is, then it's absolutely brilliant marketing. You're not alienating your base and giving them the opportunity to make an informed decision.
Aaaaaand they're on online store right now in my country.
The color way is so dope but I can't stand the price. Especially that I just bought Kobe 1 Protro 81 Point Game last week, which has more leather and more zoom air for the same fricking price. sigh

I truly believe zoom air at the ball of the foot and just phyllo/cushlon down to the heal is the best setup for performance shoes. You don’t takeoff from the back of the foot. You want the back soft for impact relief. So I believe Nike made this shoe with this understanding. And it’s the right thing to do.
There is no Zoom Air in the Kobe 4 forefoot.
