Barbara setting a good example for future influencers, declaring her sponsorships.
😂
My favorite Barbie is the Raid Shadow Legends one
If only the influencers followed her example 💀
If Barbie still did collabs, i would love to see her collab with Hot Topic, as that Emo store is so popular with this generation, and who else wants to see Barba Emo??
That be fun to see her by buy anime figure there maybe king of fighter or phantasy Star online 2 new genesis I'm pretty sure with her roommate pink and have
omg barbie x invader zim would be SO CUTEEEE
theres a line of hard rock cafe barbies i absolutely love for this reason
Hot Topic is MORE popular and/or more emo NOW than it was in the mid-2000s?
That's news to me...
CRIMINAL YOU MISSED THE INCREDIBLE SHREK BARBIE. She’s absolutely iconic in her shrek printed shirt and her shorts and her backpack. Honestly severely disappointed you missed her out.
she's perfect
I searched it & omg, the skirt is top tier fr
I just looked her up, and oh my God I need that shirt she's wearing
Girl chill out
Shrek Bratz Yasmin ate more and made sure we had some too.
"Barbie loves Angry Birds. I guess...someone has to."
That dry disappointment lol, just perfect
As someone who's childhood was made by Angry Birds classic era....
Is it bad that I want those dolls?
Wasn’t Angry Birds like insanely popular at some point?
for your anniversary, do a doll collection tour!
I would love that!
yesss I've been curious for so long
@@lunarose9 Me too!
This is a great idea! Maybe a list counting down your favorite dolls in your collection ?
Heck yes! I’d love to see that ❤
Since Mattel has the Disney Princesses license back, I'm REALLY hoping for the return of Disney Parks Barbies. I miss my Disney and Sea World Barbies sfm 😭
I can't believe that I forgot I have a Mickey Barbie. I can only picture parts of her but I know it's one that I definitely didn't play with in my later years
me too!! i absolutely love theme parks so having dolls that are actually dressed up for going to them is so cool. when i was younger i used to pair them with little disney themed rement food sets and pretended they were on a whole vacation :)
I would love this, although I feel like they wouldn’t be done right ☹️
Oh yeah I HAD ONE OF THOSE (when I searched it up I recognized I had the one with the seal and the bucket)
The “Then and Now” Barbie from Disney Parks was one of
The best dolls. Came with the Mickey Mouse club outfit from the 50’s and 2 sets of ears ❤
I would do incredible things to see a Duolingo x Barbie collab
That would be so funny! I can see it now! Barbie dressed up in all green holding a miniature of their little plush parrot they sell (is he a parrot? Or an owl? Anyway) and maybe she can come with some accessories like a mini language learning workbook, a laptop/tablet/cell phone with a sticker of Barbie learning something (maybe just a bunch of ways to say hi in other languages) and maybe even a globe or world map! Plus, technically you can argue it’s educational because it will encourage kids to learn new languages! Now that I think of it, I would totally buy this doll! 😂
I'd buy a Duolingo Barbie in a heartbeat.
Omg same. If she comes with a small Duo plush I'll give my life for her
@@loverrlee Their mascot is an owl! His name is Duo
I would love that so much
As crazy as it is, I think all the brand collaborations are what made this era of Barbie so high quality. Mattel was getting money CONSTANTLY from brands wanting to Collab with them, which meant that they were able to put more effort into the quality of the dolls and their clothes. Once the brand deals started tapering off, that's when the quality started to decline. As much as I hate to say it, I kind of wish they'd start doing brand collaborations again just so Mattel might start upping the quality again.
I wonder if they're simply "victim" to the same thing most big companies are, in these last two decades. Upper management's jobs become all about maximising profit margins for shareholders, at the cost of employees' benefits, customer satisfaction and product quality.
I don't think Mattel lacks money, just incentive. Barbie still sells, even while being so cheaply made. It's working for them.
I remember my father had a massive crush on Halle Berry as Catwoman, and he bought the Barbie one weekend when he took us toy shopping. I don't know if he still has her or not, but seeing her here reminded me of the good times we had.
My godmother had Halle Berry’s cat woman Barbie too, I was so tempted to play with her when I’d visit my godmother’s place😭
Bad dad also has her but he has all of the DC crossovers from that time. Still in box 😊
The peter rabbit barbie is so beautiful omggg 😭💕 I actually had a peter rabbit "lunchbox" where i stored all my barbie shoes and accessories so that barbie would have matched PERFECTLY
The two that come to my mind are from the 90s. Skipper and her friends had a Pizza Hut party and there were like three dolls that all had Pizza Hut stuff. And then Barbie and her younger siblings were all about McDonald’s. I remember that Stacy, Todd, her twin brother, that everyone seems to like to forget about. Yes Barbie had a little brother, but they had like a McDonald’s Party and there was even a McDonald’s Playset
Omg, I had the barbie McDonald's drive through and I can still hear the, "Welcome to McDonald's, may I take your order?"
One Barbie I would remember every year was the Girl Scouts barbie. It came with all of her friends, and they were all dressed as Girl Scouts! I was never a doll enjoyer back then, but I remember it fondly
I remember having that!! I got it when i was around 9/10. it was really cute, it came with these little boxes of girl scout cookies. I used to love that doll so much
Licca-chan has my favorite collaborations! The Sanrio, Miku, and Ghibli ones are adorable!
I really want the Pripara Licca someday!
Sanrio will collab with seemingly anyone. It's honestly crazy how often I see a new one pop up
@Princess Raven Diamond I remember reading at one point that Sanrio basically has an open-door policy with collaboration opportunities. They're VERY protective of their trademarked characters, but also very receptive to partnerships, especially to companies that are in danger of going out of business because a Sanrio collab is usually a big driver in sales
@@DarlingDollz “Oh god we’re almost bankrupt 😥… Looks like it’s time for our last resort. Bring in… Ms. Kitty.”
Hello Kitty: 💰💸✨🐈✨💸💰
@@DarlingDollz that makes so much sense! Thank you for the info!
Paul Frank (the man) is someone I learned some more about when my tee company took on that license and he seems like the chillest guy. I love how the brand started because he wanted to learn how to sew and came up with his own characters to make wallets from deadstock vinyl. There's a decent interview with him on a podcast called Convention Crossing. As a designer also learning how to sew and longing for the days when these tee companies made their own characters instead of licensing (think also Ruby Gloom, Happy Bunny, random no name characters, who became their own brands yeah but started just to be a thing to put on tees), I find him super cool.
I’m all for Barbie using actual food and restaurant brands! McDonald’s, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Domino’s… I miss real places for my dolls to grab a bite at! Love that Barbie owns her own restaurants, grocery chains etc now but I would love a collab with a real brand again. I saw there is a new Skipper playset where she is working at Target so I hope this signals some fun playsets to come!
Its crazy to me how modern that model advertisement at 4:36 still looks
I definitely love the Beatrix Potter ones! They make me smile, especially since I don't often see Barbie wearing cottage core clothing. Though come to think of it, has there ever been a "Candy Candy" anime Barbie collab before? I don't think that should be too far off.
That picture of Barbies birthday party at Disney. Just everything about it. The fashion, the smiles, it’s just perfection.
I seen the original barbie Epcot performance the barbie actor could not sing but she look beautiful
@@screamingbanshee1282 i want to see this
@@JBabyLeather its on UA-cam just very bad quality and far away that's how I saw it
I was worried you weren’t going to talk about the LifeSavers Barbie 😂 I’m so obsessed with her for some reason (let’s be honest, it’s probably the clear green plastic jacket)
seeing that one def unlocked memories for me, it’s the only one of these I owned lol
There’s a few I remember that I didn’t see on this list. Mary Jane Barbie in a wedding dress to promote Spider-Man, the Oreo Barbie’s which are definitely controversial. Campbells soup girlies, and the 50th anniversary Disneyland Barbie
Why is the Oreo Barbie controversial?
@@VenusTemple there is a Barbie and Christie version. The Christie version that people implied she’s an “Oreo girl”, or a black girl that acts white. releasing a white Barbie and one other different race Barbie was common for Mattel with releases in the early 2000s, but this line was not fully considered before release
@@Tgod4reals Oh I see. Yea, that's pretty bad.
@@Tgod4reals oops
i had no idea that the little debbie dolls were mail order only, one year my grandpa managed to get me and both my sisters a little debbie barbie, your telling me he actually went out of his way to collect enough to get us all dolls omg go grampa XDXD
i found a koolaid Stacie (well she was a Stacie friend of some sort) second hand recently and i also bought a pepsi skipper a while back which i love!
the flashlight fun Stacie's with pooh bear characters are one of my all time favorite Barbie sets
Somewhere in my collection (which is in storage), I have a MyScene Barbie that's themed around shopping at Target. It wasn't Barbie per se, it was Delancey (one of the other girls in the line), but she came with a little Target hand basket and some stuff branded around their brand deals at the time, including a super cute extra outfit. The box was also themed to look like a Target store. Needless to say, it was exclusive to Target.
i kind of love collab dolls. yeah maybe some of the brand ones can be a little tacky if you factor in that they're targeted to kids, but there's something so charming about barbie actually wearing a t-shirt with a little character on it. that's how i dress most days anyway, lol. also, for your anniversary maybe you could do a video talking about your all-time favorite dolls, whether you own them or not? congratulations on 2 years!
Graphic tees for life!
The Barbie jello one seriously unlocked a deep dark memory. I remember getting that doll/jello and waiting SEVERAL months to make the jello because it was "so pretty and I could never taste it again probably." Clearly my scarcity complex started early in life 😅
NASA, Coca Cola, and NASCAR will always be my fave crossovers. Some of the most major icons of my childhood wrapped in one ☺️
The Barbie x McDonald's dolls were literally so charming idk what it was about them. There was even a Chelsea McDonald's Birthday Party playset. I am obsessed.
PowerpuffGirls Barbie or SpongeBob Barbie have to be my cartoon collab favorites.
PPG barbie has a 2000s pink inflatable chair and SpongeBob barbies outfit was too cute.
I remember there being a Tokidoki Barbie collab. I don’t know if she was a play line or a collectors edition but I remember her having a really short sharp bob and a little dog. She also might have had tattoos I can’t remember
Yes she had tattoos and was collector edition. I remember seeing her in the catalog that i used to get in the mail years ago
from my years of Barbie research, i’m pretty sure i remember reading that the inland steel Barbie was only available through mail order and it’s speculated that only 100 were made. i’ve always loved her tin can outfit… so cutting edge and on the pulse of design as the outfit was inspired by the Pace Rabonne campaign you included a picture of!
I REMEMBER GETTING A SPONGEBOB BARBIE FOR MY 7TH BIRTHDAY IN 2004! She looked different from either the 2002 SpongeBob Barbie or the 2003 SpongeBob Barbies shown in this video, though.
Holy frick that one picture alone of the Barbie birthday at EPCOT reawakened a memory I had resigned to thinking I made up -- I've been trying to figure out what that VHS I watched as a kid all the time was and it's freaking THAT!!! Thank you so much for solving my dumb brain mystery lol 😂
I had a Cambell’s Soup Barbie I found in a drugstore that I ADORED as a kid. She had darker, dirty blonde hair and a really unique face mold, she was so cute.
I love the Grease collab from the 2000s (especially Frenchy!, and bonus, all the dolls came with stands that played the Grease theme song!!)and the Pepsi collab from 1989 (because of all the accessories and outfit options she came with). And, I know this sounds so basic, but I would to see a Starbucks Barbie! I know they already have a "Barista" Barbie, but I would to have a Barbie with the iconic green apron and coffee cup! 😍☕
Barbie also collaborated with Tokidoki and for some reason people were upset because they had tattoos and stuff, despite them being collectors dolls and not aimed at kids.
the toki doki barbie was a collab doll I wanted so bad when i was a kid! Her outfit and little bob was so cute!
as for weird collaborative barbies go, im a Huge fan of the Barbie Loves Frank Sinatra set. my partner loves frank sinatra so it makes me think of them :) plus that sinatra doll isn't completely nightmarish, which is nice
I had to pause watching to tell you how ENVIOUS I am of your Poison Ivy doll! I saved up my allowance (circa 2005?) for the Poison Ivy Barbie- but when my mom finally took me to the store I had to settle for the 2003 Wonder Woman. I do sometimes wonder if I would have been as big a fan of Wonder Woman growing up if I had found the Poison Ivy doll as intended. I'm so glad you got to treasure her even if I didn't! lol
Avon Barbies have a soft spot in my heart. The vintage looks are wonderful.
I really love hearing someone be so positive about Barbie, even when making criticisms. Growing up, she meant so much to me, and it really sucks when people are negative about something you love all the time like people are to Barbie. Your critiques are always done from a place of real affection to the source material, and even when you're trashing something viciously, it never turns to just abject negativity like a lot of reviewers. The way things are framed really matters and I usually come away learning more about the subject. Like I never heard of the weird steel Barbie! And I love seeing all the ones from decades ago that I never would have thought were a thing. Essentially, I really appreciate this channel for bringing me not just new doll news, but for chronicling a lot of doll history I'd have never even thought to look up.
The My Scene shoe store with all the disembodied feet was horrifying, though.
Also, peeping the Shadow High twins on that shelf! I have the same girls, they're so beautiful! :D :D
You just unlocked a memory for me. I definitely had that United Colors of Benetton Barbie and I would have NEVER remembered her.
One collab I remember very vividly is the BarbiexRussel-Stover (yes the chocolates) collab. They came out in 1996, and there was even a special Easter edition. I hated their clothes as a child but as an adult I just think they're super adorable.
Yes, Russell Stover Barbies came in a basket with candy. Some fans are so obsessive about NRFB that they never open the basket. 20 year old candy, anyone?
The 90's and 2000's really were the peak era of Barbie collabs. I had a lot of the cartoon tie ins like a DCAU Supergirl, at least one of the Daphnes and of course the powerpuff girls because little me owned PPG everything lol. I might have owned the jello one too? She seems oddly familiar.
i know you said the lighting was because of your filming situation, but i love the varying hues of pink throughout this video, they really make the doll room come to life :)
i had the first live-action daphne doll & I was so obsessed with the boots, but I also had the batgirl doll which, despite her weird arms & my inability to get her back into her costume after it was removed, I loooooved. it was the red hair tbh, it was so so gorgeous and unlike any other barbie's hair (sorry to my daphne doll who also had reddish hair, it was just so subpar comparatively)
I had an Oreo Barbie that was black. As a black kid, I really liked her, but uh, it took me being *called* an Oreo years later to see what the controversy was.
Okay now this might be a fever dream but I vividly remember having this pink and blue Barbie pudding i bought with my mom from target in like 2014. It was like unicorn Barbie or something 😭
NO I REMEMBER THIS
can’t remember if it was Barbie brand tho
I remember something really similar but it was an easy-bake brand product, not barbie. idk if barbie had one too and it was just a weird coincidence or what but it's a very distinct memory for me for some reason
The pink and blue unicorn pudding is still a thing, its not barbie related tho
The way I have that Jello Barbie collaboration so ingrained into my memory… I can still remember the taste lmao 😭😭
my life is in shambles but ooooooo a video about Barbie’s brand collaborations
My dad is a comic book collector so he collected many of the DC barbies 😊 There is another Catwoman that was nicely done in the gray catsuit from the cartoon, but you could only get it in a set I believe. It came with the doll as well as a motorbike
It’s so funny seeing some of the weird ways brands collaborate with each other, sometimes they can have cool collaborations, but usual it’s just slapping a character on food, like with Go-Gurts.
I have Jell-O Fun Barbie and can confirm that the Jell-O is long since expired. 🤣
Noooo
For an anniversary special, it would be cool to see you rank the Barbie movie dolls. The video I found your channel with was your review of the 2010 Barbie movies (which I didn't realize was gone until now), and while I loved it and would love a follow-up focusing on the 2000s movies, I understand a full on ranking of those films would take so long and potentially risk a copyright strike. But still, I found the dolls they made for those movies to be so pretty and some of my favorites growing up (Odette's light up wings, Annelise's details, and the Mermadia Fairy/Mermaid hybrid doll to give examples). Plus your doll rankings are always fun for me. Congrats on the milestone!
Such a coincidence that you did this video as yesterday someone on my local buy and sell group is selling Coca Cola Barbies and I thought to myself "I wonder if Darling Dollz will talk about or rank Coke Barbies one day"
my favorites were the peter rabbit, japan airlines, and my melo barbies but the paul frank collab barbie has the most beautiful face i’ve ever seen. her eyes, pouty lips , and expression are PERFECT imagine if all barbie’s looked like that
omg I NEED the sanrio barbies, especially the first one. I also had a Disney Barbie (still have the ear headband she came with!) and I had a “Barbie Loves SpongeBob” (the 2009 one you showed)
I work at a toystore and we have barbie x hot wheels poprock candy that was meant to be for Halloween but it didn't sell because it's really weird.
??? It’s like pop rocks said “eff gendered marketing” but in the strangest way possible
That 2001 Scooby doll actually appears to have had a tie-in flash game, Barbie in the Great Scooby-Doo Search! I’d check it out if I were you!
I remember having and loving the Barbie and Ken based directly off of their Toy Story 3 designs. The metallic jumpsuit definitely stood out among the mostly barbie movie dolls I had growing up.
Omggggg so we used to get to choose an ornament every year from the Hallmark store. “Black Canary Barbie” (we had no idea who that was) is the ornament my sister chose. We called her “Hooker Barbie” for the longest time. Still see her every year on the family Christmas tree 💖
I love the Avon Barbies -- they're just so deliciously 90s in their quilted pastel suit jackets and pencil skirts!
barbie really seems like its quality peaked in the 2000s. i love so many barbies from that era
Omg I had the 2002 and 2003 SpongeBob Barbies, you just brought back memories! I also had a shrek Barbie which I think is hilarious 😅
I want that Shaggy Ken doll so much, he's so horrible, he's perfect
You have such a great delivery and sense of humor! I’ve been subscribed for a while now and it’s been so great to see you grow as youtuber and put more of yourself (both literally and figuratively!) on screen. Take care of yourself, darling!
Thanks! That means a lot 🩷
i remember having that barbie jello. it was honestly nasty. the little bits in it looked cool but had a nauseating texture. they had another similar one around that time that was like ocean themed and had starfish and seahorse shaped sprinkles and it was also nasty. a real shame bc it’s so cute
I love that Katy Perry doll made just for her, was incredible, and legally blonde too
The Barbie x Juicy Couture (specifically the two pack with pink and green tracksuits) collab is what Y2K girlies could only dream of. Also love the Barbie burberry collaboration because I want to steal the matching skirt/coat/bag set Miss. Barbra gets to wear. Great video as always !!!
Barbie currently does collaboration fashion packs now (Hello Kitty, Super Mario Bros., Roxy, etc.). Which I find better because I don't collect dolls, I play with them. You didn't mention "Walmart Shopper Barbie" which had me laughing when I found it a long time ago in a Walmart no less. And Oreo Barbie, particularly the Black one, which I believe it was recalled over the offensive implications.
I remember Barbie having a Shrek doll. But those DC dolls looked so good. Imagine if they did Marvel women today
They did do Marvel dolls for Mystique, Storm, and Phoenix pretty recently. I recall them being pretty expensive though
lifesavers had some kind of like deal with school testing? I distinctly remember in elementary during the big no child left behind tests that we were all given lifesavers to help us "focus" or as rewards.
my personal fav are the two chuck e. cheese barbies they made in the 90s! i own the one in a denim jacket and jeans, a little out of place in my animatronic franchise merchandise but i like dolls too and I LOVE HER! there’s another one with a cute chuck/pizza/cheese/confetti print shirt which sounds like a lot but i love it personally! the packaging is real fun too❤️❤️ love your vids btw!
It would be cool to see some more of these collaborations appear in the future again. Also more doll brands doing this would so cool.
im forever answering all your rhetorical questions out loud to the tv: i think the jello is definitely not good anymore lol
My favorite barbie collabs are the ones with other toylines like the Trolls Barbie, Polly Pocket Barbie, etc.
In the early 2000s I also remember other Barbies associated with cartoons, one about Tweety Bird and another from Winnie the Pooh, I remember one alluding to Shrek. From the My Scene line there was the Shopping Spree collection, prior to Mall Maniacs, which included collaborations with Levi's, Aldo, Sephora, Trinkets and a Target exclusive.
I HAD THAT SKETCHERS MYSCENE!!!!! i dont even know what sketchers is!!!!!! but i always loved her so much. shes spotless, so sad she was lost to my insane mom and moving 2 times
Surprised that you mentioned My Scene's Mall Maniacs line but not the Shopping Spree line!
The 90s and 2000s were the golden age of Barbie collaborations. I had a,few coke cola Barbies. Also the Stacy and Todd McDonald's dolls back in the day
7:35 That description of Disney Fun Barbie is killing me omg. And you’re absolutely right, it’s so bad it loops back around to being incredible
I bought my mom the Star Trek Barbies for Christmas this year as a nod to baby me who wanted to get it when I saw it in the Sears catalog
The Scooby Doo Barbie’s made me think about all of the “film tie in” Barbie’s. I know that opens the door to a loooot of films throughout several decades, but I would love to hear you talk about this type of doll. The Wizard of Oz Barbie’s in particular bring me a lot of nostalgia :)
I’m just starting this video, but I just want to say that watching your videos makes me happy.
Dunno if you'll see this some months later, but some of the earliest brands featured in barbie were American Airlines (1961-4), Braniff international (1964) and Pan American Airlines (1966). Barbie has stewardess uniforms with insignia from each airline, including Braniff's insane Pucci space helmet and more classic looks from the others. There are matching AA and BI pilot outfits for Ken.
I had the 2002 SpongeBob Barbie! I loved her 🥰. One of my other favorites was a promotional Barbie for the movie Looney Toons Back in Action. She had a green dress with Bugs Bunny and Eifel towers patterned on it and a pink ribbon around the waist
I also had an Olympic Barbie that swam and you flipped a lever on the back and set her in the water
This video sparked a lot of nostalgia in me!
You unlocked the memory in my brain of having a jello Barbie so thank you for that
OMG! i was waiting for you to talk abt the spongebob barbie’s !!!! i had the 2003 girl and i loved her so much 😂😂😂😂😂❤️
i remember finding the 2009 one in toys r us- she was the only one left and i think she was on her way off of shelves so i was super excited!! she's still on my doll shelf to this day
@@fusetunes i wish as a kid i realized how cool it would have been to keep her fully boxed but i definitely used her as intended i guess and took her swimming in my pool and stuff! she also smelled so good she had like a sunscreen smell
I had the Skechers myscene playset!!!! I can't believe it, I feel so special. It was really fun, I loved shopping, but I'd never really heard of Skechers at the time cause I was like 7. The little shopping bags broke pretty quickly but it was such a joy to set it all up.
Oh the Peter Rabbit Barbie I actually have! She's still in the box and everything. My older cousins were trying to sell her in a garage sale but my grandma liked it so she took it and gave it to me for safe keeping lol so I bring her out every Easter season as part of my spring decor. You're right, she's definitely the most wholesome barbie I've ever seen, she's perfect.
As a child I had one of the Barbies where she was Mcdonald's worker from the late 90s early 2000's.
With my scene the shopping spree line in 2004 had the same idea as mall maniacs where they were at different stores
N'Sync Teresa was my first ever Barbie! I recently bought her again years later as an adult since my childhood one was thrown away and looked very scraggly. I'm so happy to be reunited with her again after so many years and I found that they have the mechanism on their back that makes their arms wave around which is hilariously adorable.
i have a benneton barbie from the mid 2000s! the concept was that you could buy a barbie with the same outfit as you, so i had the same shirt and skirt as my doll. i loved her so much, i'm so glad i still have her in her original outfit. i don't have a matching outfit anymore though, obviously haha.
I can't believe you missed the Chuck E Cheese barbies! There's 2 as far as I know, and I love them. They're so weird, it's such a strange collab. It's the best.
Barbie should team up with a known lawyer, law firm of something like that. Outfits would include a hot pink suit, accessories would be legal documents and the original bratz drawings for pitching. Bonus if she can talk and say lines like: "See you in court" and "Well, at least we still have My Scene"
I worked at the mall in 00. In the juniors jeans department...fuq mudd jeans! This was still when everyone went to the mall. There would be 100 pairs of jeans thrown everywhere because 100's of kids would go to the mall and try on jeans on a Friday night. Ugh. Does make me nostalgic for everyone going to the malls tho. They are all closing now☹️
Seeing all the shop inspired Barbie's makes me want to see a Hot Topic Barbie. I can already imagine the trip pants and MCR band shirt.
omg i have the early 2000s poison ivy doll!! i got her at a peddlers mall last year and i haven't taken her out of box bc she's just so cute and i love her! so happy to see her in this video :)
Ugh those My Scene Claire’s sets!! I had such a *rabid* need for them at the time, but it was genuinely just Mattel realizing they could sell the Cali Girl ear piercing Barbie with less stuff, I swear. 😂😂 I remember being so disappointed like I wasted my birthday gift slot that year! Haha
Oh my gosh i played with the 2002 spongebob barbie at my grandma’s all the time!!! You just gave me a flashback
My favorite was the Tokidoki collab in the earlier 2000’s I think. Also there was the See’s candy Barbie, she was retro elegance, the last one at least was. There was a controversial Oreo collab barbie too. Mattel did a pop culture line with ken and Barbie as the Adams family and as the Munster’s. Then Kelly and Todd as Raggedy Ann and Andy they did all the Flintstones characters too. I may have missed some of these in your video already. Oh and they did 2 dolls in collab with Wedgewood Co and 3 porcelain ones with the Faberge co
