Love the muscle markers! It really helps me understand exactly which muscle you're talking about as you execute the movement. If you didn't have the muscle markers in this video, I would have still been looking in the vicinity of the traps but the muscle markers really helped me focus in on the high-middle-low areas. Especially when I could see the muscle move under the marked area. Great visuals for me!

Jeff's channel literally changed the way I approach workouts and fed my motivation to workout/go to the gym every time. Whenever I'm feeling lazy or feel like my body is adapting to my workouts or they're getting stagnant, I just throw on a random video and I'm literally right back in to shock that particular muscle group again. Never fails. I follow a lot of fitness channels but this is the only one that does that.

Jeff these are actually my favorite type of videos! I love the theory behind it, trying to catch every bit I can. I’m 21 years old. When I was 15 I was hit by a car at 108km/h (I live in Denmark) after which I was in coma for 20 days. I have had a long but successful rehabilitation, still the concerns I’ve got, are my cognitive functions (especially the prefrontal cortex and right lobe) but my MAIN goal is to become a physiotherapist! I haven’t started studying, but I feel that this is a great help in advance. But of course I also get a great benefit towards working out! Thanks man, Marvin
I think physical therapists are a very noble profession. We need far more folks learning how to move properly and heal their issues through functional movements not pills hiding the symptoms. I hope a year on from this comment you're still pursuing your goal of becoming a PT!

Alright Jeff, After completing the 22 day pushup challenge and seeing massive results, I'm diving in. I just purchased your Athlean Xero program. I'm curious to see where this takes me. I've been following your channel for awhile now and am consistently impressed with your knowledge and commitment. My local gym closed down and seeing as CA is still in lockdown, I'm putting my stimulus check to good use with this purchase!
Xero is an awesome program. It takes some serious work. Extinction that comes with it is also very effective as in can't use my abs to get off the floor after the workout.

This man allowed me to fix my posture just with his knowledge. I had a bad back for 15 years and barely trained and when i did it wasn't even properly. This man motivated me to eat properly and stop starving myself. I honestly don't know where else I would have turned if Jeff's videos weren't there. Your explanations and logic are the true force behind the awesome advice you give and anything else is just extra. People criticizing you recently are at best obsessed with the most obsolete parts of the fitness industry, and at worst a bunch of vultures. With accusations that are completely unrelated to the point of your channel (The definition of useless drama) and flawed conclusions that feel very suspiciously biased and shallow. - Keep being the wonderful teacher you are, and know that the bulk of your audience recognizes this. I couldn't care less about all the controvery. I really enjoy Jeff's content and his knowledge and the way he presents it. I think it would be foolish to define Jeff as a person based on what he has/hasn't done on video and put on UA-cam which in reality, is only a very small fraction of his life.I started working out because of Jeff. I was in so much pain due to subacromial bursitis and impingement. I was lost and downright depressed due to being in constant pain. Some of his videos about shoulder stability, rotator cuff strengthening ect. were just what I needed. I hope that makes sense. Keep on doing those facepulls!

Hip impingement is a possibility. If you look online you can find resources like rehab exercises and things. Smashwerx is a great channel. He is a PT like Jeff!

I haven't fully committed to lifting weights again for 3 years. About 5 weeks in again, thank goodness for muscle memory as it's all starting to build pretty quick (up 8lbs now), but when I need to switch it up and further shock my muscles, I come here. Very informative and super helpful.

Upper traps responds well to heavy load (heavy farmers, heavy powercleans and heavy deadlifts), so make sure you use the right plates. I mean, the metal ones.

bharath mourya reddy pull-ups can be a challenging exercise for many. Have you tried controlled negatives to build your strength? Those and scapular pull-ups will help tremendously.

Jeff these are actually my favorite type of videos! I love the theory behind it, trying to catch every bit I can. I’m 21 years old. When I was 15 I was hit by a car at 108km/h (I live in Denmark) after which I was in coma for 20 days. I have had a long but successful rehabilitation, still the concerns I’ve got, are my cognitive functions (especially the prefrontal cortex and right lobe) but my MAIN goal is to become a physiotherapist! I haven’t started studying, but I feel that this is a great help in advance. But of course I also get a great benefit towards working out!

I think physical therapists are a very noble profession. We need far more folks learning how to move properly and heal their issues through functional movements not pills hiding the symptoms. I hope a year on from this comment you're still pursuing your goal of becoming a PT!

Xero is an awesome program. It takes some serious work. Extinction that comes with it is also very effective as in can't use my abs to get off the floor after the workout.

I know it's a trend for trainers and fitness experts to have their body and its capabilities be their business card, and you definitely deliver on that front as well, but anyone who really is capable of logical thought would know to cherish your knowledge REGARDLESS of that. Your explanations and logic are the true force behind the awesome advice you give and anything else is just extra.
People criticizing you recently are at best obsessed with the most obsolete parts of the fitness industry, and at worst a bunch of vultures. With accusations that are completely unrelated to the point of your channel (The definition of useless drama) and flawed conclusions that feel very suspiciously biased and shallow.

I couldn't care less about all the controvery. I really enjoy Jeff's content and his knowledge and the way he presents it. I think it would be foolish to define Jeff as a person based on what he has/hasn't done on video and put on UA-cam which in reality, is only a very small fraction of his life.I started working out because of Jeff. I was in so much pain due to subacromial bursitis and impingement. I was lost and downright depressed due to being in constant pain. Some of his videos about shoulder stability, rotator cuff strengthening ect. were just what I needed. I hope that makes sense. Keep on doing those facepulls!

Jeffs viedos are the best i Know, got up to 255 bench in a matter of months, I respect him greatly but there is a mammoth on the moon, all love!
Upper traps responds well to heavy load (heavy farmers, heavy powercleans and heavy deadlifts), so make sure you use the right plates. I mean, the metal ones.

bharath mourya reddy pull-ups can be a challenging exercise for many. Have you tried controlled negatives to build your strength? Those and scapular pull-ups will help tremendously.
