Yeah lol. Idk what he's thinking, maybe he wants to appeal to newbies at the gym? He never really showed any main compound movements when he does a video on a bodypart. At least put a farmers walk to overload smh Edit: he also always calls critics like this a troll
Christian Soenggoro fk does it matter? He’s got a physique that is notable and a workout regiment that works for him...maybe it will help you or maybe it won’t...ima try this shit out lol
You have seriously helped my gains in the past 6 months. Out of every muscle bound so called expert on you tube you my friend are the best and most real out of them all
I did/am doing the same with AthleanX. That and eliminating sugars. I was a prisoner in a skin suit before I got rid of those. Total transformation in 60 days. Of course, I'm not stopping. I'm just getting started.
Dude....2 weeks, 4 back and shoulder days using most of these routines and I've already got those mid/low trap bumps I've been wanting to see. Gains everywhere and mostly thanks to you. Over the last couple of months I've try to forget everything I thought I knew about weightlifting and employ your philosophy of mind/muscle connection and it is really starting to show. I'm using lighter weights, and am less sore and feel like leaps and bounds of ground covered. Thank you!
Love the quick in depth info, Love your vids, love the quick humor, love how you just work out in normal v neck shirts and don’t flaunt your body. My new number one source of workouts on UA-cam
THAT LAST ONE is one I used to do for years and after like 5 people screaming at me about how dangerous it was I stopped. Mistake. Excellent advice sir. Clearly, done carefully with full control its not dangerous at all.
Theres a few good fitness guys on youtube, but you are definitely the best one. No bullshit and straight to the point, knows his shit and no ego...Good dude right here.Keep your vids coming and dont change the way you do them..needle in the fitness haystack channel right here.
Love the connection/feel of isolating every angle to it's max. Having free range of the local gym to myself + this workout..I felt like a kid in a candy store! I vote for another tricep video.
Aloha Ryan, I don’t comment to often and I know you probably hear this way too often, however your gonna hear it again! You “rock” bruddah!!! Everything from front to back and top to bottom on your channel is killer!!!! My opinion, your channel is number one, keep the content coming and many mahalos for all you have done thus far and hopefully well into the future!! Happy New Year, Jack
Man you have helped me take my lifting to another level. I have always lifted the same and you have helped me change it up and really see the difference in my gains. Thank you and keep up the videos!
Thanks again for your practical and most importantly productive methods of fitness ! Furthermore 2 to 4 minute sessions are just right, thanks for making it short and sweet!
Knew this dudes channel was going to blow up - and still is. Very informative information in a short video. He's headed for 300k subs now fellas... Let's go!
The number one mistake in bodybuilding today is overdeveloped traps. Everyone wants wide shoulders and a small waiste. The V-taper. Overdeveloped traps makes your shoulders look smaller. Your traps will already get enough work indirectly. If you need the bring the traps up just a little bit try barbell shrugs in front and behind you (your traps are behind you)on the Smith machine slow controlled full range of motion. Works great for me. I do agree with everything Ryan says here. Solid channel , no bs straight to the point and also clear explanation of the why you have to do a certain exercise. Awesome stuff.
Im press ive...last few weeks I’ve been watching these segments and I have to say I like the no BS style, wit, and the exercises have Opened my eyes again...it’s great to switch things up and try something new and the variations on just about every body part has re-invigorated workouts for both my wife and I ..we work out together as much as we can....and...in the spirit of Ryan’s videos...uh, no this isn’t something weird my wife and I are trying to ah ..spice things up.
Hi Dawid, here from SOUTH AFRICA i just want to say thank you for all the great workout tips. In a short time, I really do feel the results. No pain, no gain. I will be liking allot more of your videos. I do most of my workout with resistance bands and dumbbells . That's all I can afford 😅😅
Enjoy your pod cast. I have been lifting for a long time. Have been regular subscriber of men's health and train magazines yet I keep learning from your videos. Keep up the excellent information .
Ryan , your down to earth vibe and passionate explanations in your videos is so good . Love the videos dude , I’m 44 years old and after 35 years of being out of shape I’m changing my life your along for the ride 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Man I appreciate all the great information you give us! I have built more muscle and lost more fat from following your garage gym program and your videos and making them my own than any thing else I have done!
I completely agree about the aesthetics of the traps. Personally I've never been into the massive neck look. Also, I think the lower part of the traps are actually more functional overall because of the assistance they give to many other lifts, like bench, row, and OHP. The shrugging movement itself--which seems to yield the thick neck aesthetic--doesn't seem like it has nearly as much functional carryover.
Great info brother as always. I agree with the importance of mid and lower trap development. I haven't shruged in years, and I still have nice looking traps. I attribute face pulls and incline dumbbell high rows to my trap growth success. Dumbbell farmer walks after every pull and leg workout are awesome too.
U are the best .... u basically took my training up a notch .... anytime I am looking for something new , I come here and u never disappoint. Good work man .
I like Ryan a lot. What does Ryan have that none of us usually have? An empty gym. There is always this pressure to get our sets done and move along. Slow down. Be mindful. Let each rep be its own event. Close your eyes (when safe) and use your kinesthetic sense and proprioception to take control of which muscles are producing force and which ones are dormant. Practice.
Brother, I hit my traps from all angles using these exercises today and WOW! Killer pump! I looked so "yoked" by the time I made it home, my wife thought I must have ruptured a disc. Haha, thanks Ryan!
You should experiment with your own body and see what gives you a nice contraction and pump, its hard to tell people of all different body types what the vest reps and sets are so the best thing to do is experiment, it wont take too long to figure out what works best
Thank you so much for making your videos! I started throwing in one or two of you variations a day and not only have a started growing but it also kills the boredom. Keep up the good work!
Ur the real deal..I struggled with my traps for years..until I started implementing ur work outs I started noticing my traps and shoulders develop within a couple weeks! Can't believe I wasted years on shrugs thinking I had stubborn traps..I just never isolated my movements properly. thx for the videos glad someone is giving real tips on here
I'm convinced that you should create and application that breaks down all your knowledge with mini movement clips that show how to properly do them. I for 1 would love to be able to grab certain routines of yours, save them in a favorites section, and focus on those for 6 weeks before changing them up. There are some already that you can research, but I'm positive that your knowledge and movements will take it to a whole other level. I'm 6ft 4in and bench 415. Been the same for a long time. Started following your routines and focusing on all the mind muscle connection, lighter weights, higher slower reps, etc... I'm seeing changes much quicker than being that asshole throwing around a shit ton of weight at low reps. I'm very grateful for you sharing all these videos and tell everyone about you. Thanks again, take care.
I love this guy . His workouts are proper eye bleeders . Love it man keep real bro . And his exercises if done proper leave you feeling like road kill 😈😈😈😈💪
Ha! Just want to say... you're that kind of dude I want to go to the gym and be friends with. No bullshit... good advice... and makes me laugh while gaining muscle. Thanks for all brotha! Can't wait to try out your advice!

Us watching ppl embarrass themselves in the gym: HAHAHAHAHA
Ryan: Hmmm that'd be a great variation.
Yeah lol. Idk what he's thinking, maybe he wants to appeal to newbies at the gym? He never really showed any main compound movements when he does a video on a bodypart. At least put a farmers walk to overload smh
Edit: he also always calls critics like this a troll
@@christiansoenggoro I'm pretty sure these exercises are ment to be an addition to an already existing program.

I would say the odds that you do anything right then are at around 5%.
