Sometimes I find an item while editing that I just have to go back and see if it is still there - I went back to find a $250 piece and a couple other goodies at this Las Vegas Goodwill, come thrifting with me and see what I put in the cart on this thrift with me adventure!

Danni, I'm basically bedridden and don't get out anymore. But I used to love thrifting.
So I now go with u through the magic of UA-cam. And the best part is I can't buy anything this way so it doesn't cost me a cent. Thanks for taking me shopping with you. What a treat it is to have a way to connect with the outside world when you're stuck in bed. I wish people in the past were able to do this. They must have been bored to death. Sometimes when I go out to feed the yard birds, I will hold some seed in my hand and occasionally I can get a little black capped chickadee to land in my hand and eat! It is so much fun!!

Dani, I just love the feather key or jewelry holder. Feathers are considered magical & mystical & revered as a direct line to the divine. As birds are considered holy & sacred because they fly so close to heaven & are believed to carry prayers. So, they say if by happenstance you stumble upon a feather on the ground, it’s felt you are receiving a divine message, blessing or prayer from an Angel. After my Mother passed, I came across feathers a lot. So, knowing they have special meaning endears them to me. I know you’ll appreciate that too:):) Also, (you may already know this!) @ 7:24 behind the blue lady you picked up there was some “ Down to Earth” pottery. You looked at another piece last week in Goodwill too. It always has a scripture saying etched or engraved in piece & it can sell well. It’s nicely done pottery. Check out their website, if you can:)

Such a sweet video -- your family's love of animals tells so much without saying a word. Gordo is too precious, hiding, but still peeking out. Too bad Icharus flew away! I do like that you focus on things that can sell, not exclusively antique/vintage high dollar items, since for a reseller, that makes a huge difference. People can start small, make some solid sales without the risk that can come with waiting for a high ticket item to sell or to find it for resale, which is empowering. I used to live in Vegas until 3 yrs ago on the SW part of town. I really miss Las Vegas, didn’t know there were so many thrift stores that I could have gone to.

The "marriage" was a valid kitchen item. It's missing an under plate that heated up. I believe Westbend made it, a slow cooker vs crockpot....easier to wash everything. The lid could do double duty as a casserole dish.
Yes, I agree. It was a slow cooker where you could remove the “pot” to serve. That’s the correct lid. I still have the one that was my MIL’s.

We love our pets. They get to eat first. They talk to us and we talk back to them. We miss them when they pass on. They each have their own personality. Be safe. Thought I saw the same pattern on the pillows in the blankets!

Oh man, I knew when you showed the wing art that I would've picked it up, no questions asked. Oh well. I never used to look in the blankets and like items, but I found a lovely floral tablecloth today for $1 that will be well used in my house. Also found 2 teacup/saucer sets, one Lenox, one Royal Albert. Quite pleased with both for only $3 each. I finally figured out the small glasses my grandma had in her house were Viking glasses and now I am on the hunt for them. If you happen to see any (if you know what I am talking about, I think they call them the Georgian glasses), I will pay you for your time and shipping, preferably ruby red but I will also take blue or green. Not a fan of the amber ones, we already have those. My aunts took the ones my grandma had when she passed, along with all her Fiesta dishes. Hrmph.
For thing that you are on the look out for she usually forgets, but if you email Danni, Kari reads the email and organizes her orders, so maybe Kari can look out for them too. 😁😁

I remember it had a red decal or picture painted on the spot where you sit down. I can't remember what the picture was. You and I are the same age Danni, so that is something from around our childhood.

The item you said was a marriage of bottom pot and deep glass lid is actually an early slow cooker by Westbend and it had a bottom electric hot plate that the pan sat on to heat. the bottom had a dial on it to adjustment the heat. the top and bottom actually do go together

Danni, when I saw the title of your video, I was so hoping you were coming back for the beautiful large wing sculpture.
I always check boxes if I am seriously interested, if they are taped shut and I can’t easily/neatly open them ( and reseal), I’ll ask an employee if they can open it so I can inspect the contents. Great finds!!!
