Professor Lummuba is a gentleman honorable that, I do admire. He is an extraordinary orator. His speeches are eloquently delivered. It's like a voice in the wilderness of the African Continent awakening and inspiring youths and leadership to a change, which is needed in these changing times; in this universe.

So many of us in the world have equal if not better oratory eloquence but we misuse and abuse this great gift to blurb about destructive material. What always makes PLO the greatest of the times is the fact that he has always made it his lifestyle to propagate morality and sanity to all and sundry even at the sourest expense of his life. With his demagogic oratory he has challenged so many in Africa, China, EU and America in ways that can only parallel to that of the Jewish prophets. If only such morals can sink and saturate my soul and yours too to levels desirable and all pleasant to our Master, God!

Zeus HERULIS- I think your attributes ("Oh I know it's because you are obviously one of the typical corrupt criminal minded evil citizens of the so called Christian religious believing fanatics that make 80% of the population of Kenya.") to me is misdirected. Like you I condemn the malaise that is plaguing our continent and dragging us backward. In essence we speaking the same language I just wonder why the condemnation. I equally shun African european manufactured borders dividing our continent for thieves to loot with impunity. I equally shun the abuse of religion propagated to set our agenda. I equally shun tribalism as a tribe only identify with the language that one speaks.

Indeed P. L. O has distinguished himself that he is ready to die fighting corruption. And if he dies today, I can proudly say, here goes a man who died fighting corruption.

There are not only many churches, but they all preach repentance. They still put no dent in corruption. The law increases sin, and the gospel dies the death of a thousand complications. The simple and clear gospel might have a better effect, but even then, some will be unbelieving, and others will be believing but unprofitable.

AFRICA NEEDS THESE LESSONS FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER. WHY IS IT THAT THE TRUTH PRONOUNCED ABOUT OUR MISDEEDS SHOULD BE CATALYSTS TO THE IGNITION OF INTERNAL CONFLICTS THAT, MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, AFFECT THE POOREST OF THE POOR IN OUR SOCIETIES? IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO DO THINGS BY GOD'S RECOMMENDATIONS? GOD, REMOTE IN OUR THOUGHTS AS HE MIGHT SEEM, WATCHES OUR EVERY ACTION IN DARKNESS AS CLEARLY AS IN THE LIGHT OF A BRIGHT MIDDAY. THAT MEANS THAT GOD CAN NOT BE MOCKED!

I think in this speech Prof Lumumba sees Africa too much with colonial eyes. He points out problems Africa faces from colonial eyes when the truth is Africa's problems are rooted in poverty. From corruption to an inability to function in fighting our challenges, this is all as a result of poverty, not because our leaders mindless or greedy. These African leaders are simply responding to what they see as a useless cause paralysed by poverty. So if poverty is the root of all these problems Africa faces, what is keeping Africa in poverty? The answer if someone sees Africa from colonial eyes is that African leaders are to blame for Africa's poverty. The colonial view is one that is spread to hide the cruelty with which former colonial powers have treated Africa, not only in colonialism, but also since independence. The answer to why Africa is poor and why Africa problems such as corruption exist, if someone sees Africa from African eyes, is that former colonial powers and those foreign powers that collude with them are intentionally keeping Africa poor. The idea that African leaders should trust those that colonised Africa and intentionally kept Africa poor to assist Africa in breaking free from poverty after defeating them and gaining independence is the biggest mistake African leaders made, but they had no choice as they had guns held to their heads when they signed the contracts African nations have been forced to live up too. Those contracts and unpayable loans with strings attached gave former colonial powers the power and influence to intentionally keep Africa in poverty, unstable, ungovernable and paralysed in poverty, creating a garden in which corruption that was bound to grow. But even in corruption, it should not be forgotten that corruption is even greater in nations outside Africa than corruption by politicians in Africa. In fact Africa contains the less corruption than those who tell the world African leaders are corrupt.Corruption is all over the world, not just Africa. In fact the biggest corruption takes place outside Africa and against Africa. There are reasons Africans are made to think their leaders are corrupt and the rest of the world is not. This is a joke which leaders outside Africa find hilarious because they know the truth
and that the truth is so obvious to see. Western intervention in Africa itself is corruption. Western intervention started in the enslavement of Africans, was changed for intervention through colonialism, and then since independence was changed to intervention through unpayable debts with strings attached that ensured Africa would continue to be kept poor. Now the intervention continues through psychological war to turn Africans against each other and their leaders often by trying to make Africans think it is their leaders keeping them poor while the things I listed above are the real reasons. Africans blaming their leaders means they will not see the real reasons they are poor and so not solve those issues that are really keeping them poor and let them remain with Africa continuing to be vulnerable to exploitation. When an Africans blame their poverty on their leaders it is like a shop owner blaming the child that stole sweets for the closure and bankruptcy of his shop while ignoring and keeping the blame from those that ran off with the till and burnt the shop down which is unbelievably ridiculous, but they do that because they believe anything a white man tells them and that has to stop. Peace and love
