- Royal Swedish Cadet Band participated in the celebration of the Battle of Waterloo 200 years by marching up The Mall passing by Buckingham Palace Sunday 21st of June 2015
Make no mistake about it. This is a world class cadet ban. Bravo. Thanks for posting.
Mycket flott genomförande, härligt att se de svenska fanorna i London !
The bell lyre gives such a bright, crisp overall sound to the band. Lovely !!!
Kul att se och mycket väl genomfört
Congratulations from Training Ship Darwin, Australian Navy Cadets
I live in London and unfortunately did not see the parade, but I can honestly say The Royal Swedish Cadets, were one of the best bands on parade. I wonder if anyone connected with the band could tell me the name of the first tune, which was played on this film when the bands steps off. It is great. It is played well and suits the youthful, smart, lively swagger of the band. Well done.
Hi Martin.I am not connected to this band, but I had thr same question as you.I found out that the name of the marsch is Fladdrande Fanor.
which year is the video clip from???

Första ubåtflotilljens marsch ( marsch of the first submarin flotillia)

This band "plays the palace" regularly. When its the Swedish Navy's turn to serve as guards at Stockholm Palace, this band will play at the daily Change of The Guard ceremony. It's worth catching if you're ever in Stockholm, especially in summer. Whichever band is "on duty" will almost certainly be very well drilled and don't be surprised if they throw in a few "unusual" numbers from time to time.
No it doesn't.
The band isn o longer a part of Försvarsmusiken and many members are under 18 years old.
During the parade the band and soldiers become one unit hence why no one under 18 years old is allowed.
The band has nerver played during the change och guard while the navy was on watch. Only the Army.
The last time the band played during the change of guard was in 2013.
Mycket fint framförande.Det jag funderar på är vad den första marschen heter.En härligt optimistisk marsch fullt i klass med Reginamarsch.
+Kenneth Olsson Nu har jag funderat klart.Den heter "Fladdrande Fanor".

Loved the Swedish Cadet Band! But unfortunately, due to a misplaced allen key, they fell to bits just around the corner!

Fantastiskt bra!
Viking invasion of England part 2
Does anyone know what the music with the drum beating only is called at 2:11? I really liked that part.
That beats usually plays when the band changing March song
@Patrick Kang Thanks for the answer!
Its called “Rabadang” and is written by Tommy Törner who served as drum major in the Swedish Armed Forces throughout his whole career.
@@anthonhavang5335 Thank you very much for the information! Appreciated!
@@Emeralds11 it's also an extended and heavily flourished variant of the Swedish drum signal for "forward march" used since the 17th century the original starting off every other march in the video
at 5:35 it's the Flottans Defileringsmarsch....sounds well !
Can someone provide the name of the marches that start at the 2:45 and 4:15 marks?
2:45 is "Reginamarsch" by Ernst Urbach (also known as "Flottans defileringsmarsch"). 4:15 is "Fladdrande Fanor" by Viktor Widqvist.
Gåshud till tusen alltså😮

Молодцы кадеты!!!
The use of the Glockenspiel if completely unnecessary. It covers over the woodwind parts. Notice the British bands have dispensed with that unnecessary, clanging instrument.
vackert!! detta visade inte SVT
I guess the guy marching at the very front is on strike :D
Vajande fanor borde det heta
