One of the issue i have with ZZZ is the camera angle and transition on the ult animation Let me try to explain it, note that im not an animator or some sort so take it with a mountain of salt, but 4:52 Very nice animation sequence here, now the problem is, well, this 4:59 It awkwardly snap to gameplay screen. For the amount of anticipation they build up with the start up animation, the actual pay off is....meh *almost every ZZZ character shares this sort of quality, where the camera is zoomed to the characters face, then they do some sort of attack, then it snap back to gameplay screen where the actual attack happen* Now here's how PGR does their ult animation 9:41 now here we have the ult animation, a noticable difference here is that its actually a zoomed OUT shot of Alisa. Also unique background instead of just the standard blue 9:41-9:44 Now here's the cool part. They bring down the camera angle, and then right at the 9:43 mark where the beam is slammed into the camera and it goes white, thats when the change into a different angle above her, then from this angle transitioning into gameplay view becomes more natural Another thing you'd notice is that the attack itself that does damage is part of the ult animation, whereas ZZZ typically start dealing damage once you've returned to gameplay I think this is generally why people seem to favors Kuro animation alot more than Hoyo despite Hoyo being the far more popular games . The camera angle are used very dynamically. No two ult will ever feel the same and its eye candy everytime
I agree, kuro is creative with transition. but animation wise, i still prefer ZZZ over PGR. Because theres a feeling of weight in every of their movements, also flow naturally too. The only problem i have with PGR is constant camera shake tbh. Idk, its just make the game feel cheap and make the floor like paper compared to solid ground feel like in zzz.
@arzurianrein4612 Characters in pgr are constructs (frames). They are people who have transferred their consciousness into a mechanoid body with a humanoid appearance. So they don't have to be sedentary and slow like humans whose human body is limited in speed and muscle capabilities. But I know what you mean, everyone has their own tastes. If zzz had a different style, another character designs and more movesets (boss's and character's), I'd be into it too

I don't know who made the moveset for alisa but damn are they stylish and complex, even i don't even memorized her rotation. Because i get lost halfway through (i was mesmerized by her vfx)

Complete gameplay i think, since zzz mechanics revolves around character rotation way more than pgr hence why pgr offers more moveset variation. The most basic one, nor his chain and assist can be seen here while it's still part of his own kit. The same goes with Alisa's qte.

Sorry bro, allisa only QTE slaves though in PGR 😂 as she has amplifier role (support), her rotation only one set combo, but some high end player only make her QTE slaves. PGR game play more flexible, you can make rotation game play or hyper carry game play, as every constructs have their own complex movement set, just be care full with your eyes when you play PGR 😂
every pgr character nowadays has a complex kit, lots of animations to admire and their own field time to shine even in competitive content, instead of supports pressing 4 buttons and having five seconds field time. Everyone's primarily an onfield DPS and I love that
I like the concept of comparing character types across different games, but your videos are needlessly overlong. I wish they were more concise and had less harsh slowmo.

I come from the most recent Lighter vs Noctis video and I have to say, Lighter must have been a huge miss in ZZZ cuz this archer boy is miles better in terms of gameplay. Edit: of course though, Alisa is too much to compare, a fair one would be with lightning Bianca.
Oh come on Harusama looks pretty good, He'd be a late gen 1 S rank in PGR and for a free character off a game thats only been out for 6 months, thats pretty impressive

sheesh welcome....... - ok so i capture the game with my nvidia recorder, but sometimes OBS - i use capcut to edit - the music is played during tutorial, however i can separate the music....ill try - ill try to return on my first method of editing, the reason why i show the character first and then the other because they dont have the same kit RATIO ill consider this on the next one
Boy this community has no chill. I feel like ZZZ has better combat flow overall (not by much), but PGR's extra dynamic movements and hella fast paced combat top ZZZ easily. Gameplay also feels way better since you gotta learn Alisa's rotation. It doesn't look like he was doing much, but Alisa's gameplay requires good orb management to fill her core gauge while in mode. This man performed it really well.

Completely irrelevant from the video: I tried to look up a tier list for pgr character, what did i get? None, every character has its purposes. Like genuinely, I've looked up the reddit and everyone said "You can make one but it's not going to be accurate".
There are no tier lists because you essentially need all the S ranks if you want to keep up with endgame. But hey, at least they give out free S ranks every once in a while.
A bow that also usable for melee is always laughable for someone who master archery in real world, whatever game they are... A bow is made not for melee purpose, but for launch a projectile... If they made for cosplay, it's looks cool indeed, but for practical use in combat, better swordgun then if you want your weapon to shot and melee in the same time, well, still not efficient tho It's no different with Bethesda and their stupid design for guns...
I love how ZZZ doesn't have to puke VFX and fireworks to my face to make me think the character actually well animated, hit feedback and SFX is so well done too.

@OrdinaryPearEnjoyer they could still add a character with more movesets in the future while still being a casual combat game like aether gazer does,back in their early patch the characters in that game has only few movesets too pretty much like zzz but they eventually add characters with rich movesets and unique playstyle like pgr but still with their own casual combat style,so i really hope they follow what AG does too in the future.
