THANK YOU
Bishop is correct. Music is very influential on youths. Strongly agree
As a dj... When fight happen in a dance, we play conscious or love songs to help calm things down... Music has influence
That is very true 💯
I just cya understand how Jaii nuh see say music has real influence. 🤔
Anyone that say it doesn't is lying to themselves ,the man dem never start ras because of how CAPLETON OR SIZZLA look its because of what they say in their songs
Me have a fren weh w selector and him say music have a great influence on people behavior
Escobar made a lot of sense in terms of what’s is going on in todays world
The music has a impact on the younger generation
Another excellent interview bless up to the both of you
Bishop had a more mature and calmer interview than triple, him never once consider his point to be 100% right and unlike triple weh did have to be corrected countless time about some musical terms and roots bishop know the history of dancehall and showing respect to the young and the old👍🏾💯
Why the comparison though
@@alseanlewis9393 exactly. Dancehall always putting two against each other.
Just because he mention triple.. He said he wasn't even going to but a question was asked so he went into it he doesn't need dat attention two men speaking there mind 😏
Bro yuh need fi invite Damian Crawford on the podcast to ventilate the broadcasting issue and influence of dancehall music.
This a the new fix ,bro podcast up g consistency 🔥🔥🔥🔥
One thing about Jamaican men....dem can cuss n style yu wickedly 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Real talk Escobar 💯.Big up everytime youth
I can see how someone predisposed to violence can be influenced but violent music. Same can be said about about a heart break or love songs, if we weren't able to relate to these songs they wouldn't have the influence they do.
Love the conversation
best podcast pon di grung!
Great interview dj! 🤝🤜🤛🇯🇲
Good interview fam the man heart clean 🙌👌
Maddest podcast no joke bout that 🧏🏻♂️
Big up Escobar yuh a real youth @bishop Escobar

Deh yah🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Interesting interview....
Love the consistency bredda 🔥🔥
it is an interesting thing ...doing an interview with someone who has a lot to say.......but is very pragmatic and enthused about what they have to say to the detriment of the point/s that the interviewer is trying to discuss.......isn't it ? Big up Bishop ......Big up J.....str8!!!

Da show ya a one a the best thing weh happen to the internet
Another good interview Jai
Bishop Escobar is giving another point of view and I like it. I get what he’s saying about triple x. Triple x can only give us a now a days perspective and I think he does have some points but his delivery is rude and he did say in an interview he basically fell into this. I was actually thinking after the last interview I wish someone older and more experienced would speak on it too and here we are.
Also this interview is really showing your age Jai you definitely learned a lot.
Whilst I understand triple x delivery might be distasteful to some. That's his style, that's his identity. Not everyone will like you for it.
@@moniquestorasdiary5931 Ya his delivery doesn’t bother me but hearing another point of view of someone in the same field he’s explanation was insightful. But I don’t think anything is wrong with triple x studying his crowd like that seeing what works and what doesn’t in order to make his set good it’s actually smart and more newbies should be studying their craft. Now putting the dj/selector on live and basically dissing them because the crowd isn’t enjoying the set isn’t the greatest and Bishop Escobar explains why it can be damaging to the person and I think even the person putting on the event for the future.
Facts the g a talk
Escobar swear think him bright but really and truly him dunce uh f**k 😂😂😂😂😂
The culture is most influential or the main contributor of crime and violence in Jamaica 👈🏾
Facts general always been a part of dancehall 👍
If music can influence you to be in a better mood, hype mood, etc... Influence you for positive things, it can influence you to do negative or pree negative things... Whereas some girls in the past may have looked down on scamming... Now because it's glorified, they may now look for scammer man... And that in itself would influence guys to do it
music nuh influence ppl like liquor , when fight broke out dem stop sell liquor? stop mek excuse fi foolishness.
@@hscott4190 what a total fuckery comment this 😂😂dunce yuh fuck...
@@hscott4190 there are a shit ton of restrictions on liquor... What are u talking about? Not everyone can drink alcohol... U can't even go to work intoxicated... So the point u thought u were making is invalid
Tons of research out there to support the influence of music..c’mon, everyone knows that.
@@hscott4190 when you in the ghetto and a bag a man deh pon di corner a crush out them hand middle and a sip special a listen the same songs over and over tell mi them nuh influenced fi follow whether fi impress the friends or its all them think about
Loving the consistency with the contents. Keep up the good work and laage up yuhself same way!

Real Real
Anyone who disagrees with the banning of any songs that promotes deviant behavior from the airwaves , is not thinking
This classic
Consistency is key good content jai history repeat it self nth new
Bishop Escobar yuh on point !!!! Prior guests should have watched this interview before they spoke !! Yuh argument solid !!
Its not about banning the songs in general. Its about banning the songs on the free to air radio waves that the government has control over. Since they issue the license to the radio stations. Remember back in about 08-09 when they banned daggering songs on the radio? Those song were still being played in the dancehall. Bless up.
Yu bishop u a real youth cause u always bigup the young selecta dem 💯
JAH JAH MI RESPECT U BISHOP
A true man... Tripple is a low-key bad mind guy, low self-esteem projector...
Typically jamaica people suh if this man never come talk him shit unu would say that

Like next time I’m doing promos I need to visit Jaii. Nah run down no Fix 🥴
You need to do a Tony Matterhorn interview it’ll probably need to be in 2 parts. And you’ll probably have to chase after him and catch because he’s always on the go ✈️ 😆
Not sure if you know, but we already interviewed him …. Definitely need a re-up
Maggie son talk facts with evidence eno...LINK UP TONY MARIJUANA
What Jaii doh realize is that trends and influence are actually one in the same. Trend-setting is influence-setting.
Creativity not only lies with the artist but also with the "producers" so let's see how creative the producers are
The youths sing about the their reality. If you don’t know about love you can’t sing about love. If u a bald u can’t sing about Rasta life style..
@@nycviews9273 bro no when biggy smalls and other rappers was doing the exact same thing it was up to the producers who saw there talent needed to change up there pen game even if you write ✍️ about something bad it must be substantial to a certain degree 🎓
Big argument and point. Dats why you have to give patrick roberts his flowers
@@nycviews9273 lol stupidity.. kmt.. Artist create Art. If you don’t have the ability to create art out of thin air then what is your talent really. Over the years artist are able to create song that give ppl inspiration… not only to amplify what you are seeing.
Escobar brilliant ino.
The man smart!!!
The man know music!!!
Big up ShampooBarber 🔥🔥🔥
exactly there is outrage and not seeing that its a step to protect the country and the kidsssssssss
if they do ntn its like the gov can be accused of promoting robbing others
Dweet jaii you mek fi this
It play a big part because now a days youth cannot hold their own
JF makes a good point, lottery scamming started before the choppa music, crime and violence also is older than dancehall. Which one is the influencer?
1 Bishop Escobar Enuh‼️ Neva Tell A Lie🤞🏾🫡
This man has ounce of hate and badmind in him, need more people like him a world yah!

Music is trend, trends give influence

People (including artistes) influence trends.
Escobar far more intelligent and smarter than the interviewer
Jais. If u pree the new artist dem if u put Kraff, Marksman, Bayka and Brysco on one track. U feel u ago hear much difference in content or if dem ago be able sonically differentiate them??

I miss rub a dub music 🎧 when man hold dem gyal Propa .
That a true some ppl diss u pon camera and wen dem see u Inna real life dem naa do it or dem go hail u
U cannot pick and choose the type of influence music has. So to agree it has influence otherwise but doesn't agree it also influence violence is a very flawed way of thinking
Bredah..if it influence consumerism, educstion, culture ect. it influences everythings else across the board including violence
Very good insight to Dancehall and a flip side of the coin to what triple x saying . Bad podcast richout get yuh greencard and stay a yard , cause yuh have more drive
We fighting our selves and not even realize it? Badword fi cuss and shot fi buss Inna dance

All Wah gwan still enuh when e dawg buss e Eli wid e liss tongue @36:04, Mia nearly dead 😂😂🤣. Big up ur self thou youth a facts yea tlk and big up Eli, them man deh help set dance hall fi them new youths yea.
jaii look at it this way, it’s a choice to be influenced by music by people who has guidance, they know what’s right from wrong, but a ute weh nuh have him father, mother nuh business bout him best believe him easily influenced. Get it? so it half and half
Crime has been going on since ska and jazz. Music is literally used as an escape to sing about current affairs. Scamming has been going on wayyyyy before now. It’s just being highlighted now. Who remembers “Nike” pepper? It has its time and ran out. We were wearing those then when the song came after it spiked even higher. This is reminiscent to the chicken and the egg parable, what comes first? But we all know crime started first
