We all want to find happiness and fulfilment in our lives and careers. We want that sense of having ‘enough’. This episode’s guest has done just that. Sahil Bloom is an investor, creator, entrepreneur (also a former pro baseball player) and now a busy new dad raising his two month old son. In this conversation we talk about finding purpose, the longevity of online careers and how to become durable creators. I also get some great financial advice from Sahil about how to invest during a recession while keeping things simple.

You're an amazing thinker Sahil bhai!! Huge inspiration.... Keep impact lives!
@@satyamonadventure what does he has done or achieved ?
This episode was therapy for me 😂 really needed to hear a lot of this so thank you ❤
Thank you Sahil, Ali, Angus, Elizabeth and others not in front of the camera! Raza :)
Great interview/podcast/deep dive! It came at just the right time for me!
Love this content! When sahil says “we get on this hedonic treadmill, we’re never happy” the truth has never been spoken louder! 10:20
one of the Lit podcast! Love sahil bloom! The way he says it 'Its very difficult to beat someone who is that consisitent'. Thanks Ali and Sahil for the podcast! please do part-2. More deep dive into how someone thinks about mental models, hacks, learnings which Sahil talks about!
Quick question: at 0:37 what is the frame of this shot?
This episode was great! I wish it wasn’t so edited / fast paced, but great content.
Thank you for this video. Very inspiring! ❤
Wow that cliff hanger at the beginning was kinda rude
Seen Sahil pop up on my twitter feed a number of times. Glad you had him on, super interesting convo!
(Also early congrats on Deep Dive hitting 100k!!)
32:00 Who hates people talking about being parents and teaching their kids things? Sahil is 100% correct that these types are "weird". How can people hate on new parents wanting to be good parents hoping to pass on wisdom and skills to their kids. I found this very sad and feel bad that Sahil has even 1% of "followers" that are these types of people.
On a brighter note: What a great interview. Keep up the great work Ali!
Love the video! One thing to think of that I hear so many youtubers say is that they will "grow out of it"... and I dont think thats true.... Because in a way you are the first wave of youtubers = the audience is quite young,,, so you dont really have that many role models of older youtubers that do content for an older audience... because the "older" generation today might not watch youtube because its "new" for them... It WILL be different in the future.... The ppl, your audience now, they will watch youtube or similar when they are 75 too... I dont see myself quit just because I turn 45... even thought it might be so that the ppl who are + 45 today might get info in other ways.... Big generalisation ofcourse!!! But I think "you" youtubers stressing about it coming to an end... I dont think you have to do that.... Maybe I want different content when Im 75, but at the same time, IF you still want to do youtube when you are 75 you probably will want to do other kinds of videos then too? So un-stress and believe that your audience will follow you and grow with you... You will create the future together.
Ali is indeed fantastic at what he does!
Could you share your views about Shure MV7?
My 3rd time… still so good and his other one also 🙌🏻
Great episode. I love how each episode is a mini therapy session for Ali - the openness makes this podcast so much for interesting
This episode was really really good … loved every minute of it … Thanks Ali for the amazing content 🔥💯
Is it my device or this video is really gittery?
28:43 note
Gems!
This is great! Thank you!
I love this podcast. Absolutely love it. It was amazing listening to the both of you.
Was this in like 20fps or something?
Hard to watch, video is super choppy and laggy.
Fine to listen, but I'm on UA-cam where I prefer to watch.....
Am I the only one that noticed that
I think it's your settings
Try correcting it by choosing a higher resolution.
Video is really amazing here
@@tofgist4335 It wasnt that..... The videos frame rate is low, or Ali had his camera settings messed up...... Resolution is fine, I play everything in 4k, I have gig internet.
No other vid is laggy, just his lol
@@DanDoesGame ok👍
@@DanDoesGame I notice it too
30mins into watching it so far, both so engaging, loving it. 👍🎉
when is enough. glad you're talking about it
This is my favorite cross over.
2 legends
Congrats Ali on 100k 🎉🎉🎉👍😇^_^
The answer to the title @ 1:21:00 - "I've written something every single week since May 2020...the hack is that I wrote 250,000 words on twitter over the last 2 years"
kewl :3
I don’t think content creators with teams of employees should give advice to people just starting out. I think y’all should speak with people who are starting out & having success on their own … mastering consistency with just one platform is Very hard when it’s just you & you work a day job
yes!
I agree with you 100%
Then again, a big majority of content creators started out on their own, without the teams around them.
They are giving advice cuz they themselves started off alone
Most times, many of them started alone
the accent ali speakin is british or.......................?

Yes
Imagine having these guys as friends
Ooo nice, this guy has the most Readwise threads saved by users lol.
Is that a tattoo or pen ?
Mrs Sofia is the best, recommending her to all beginners who wants to recover from their losses and gain more like I did through her strategies..
Who's this professional everyone is talking about I always see her post on top comment on every UA-cam video I watched.
I think I'm interested how can I get in touch with Mrs sofia...
I'm from Germany I used to take loan from the bank for surviver but after trading with expert Mrs sofia she changed my financial status for real
I'm now a creditor not debtor anymore
It's not about watching videos and wasting your time on strategies, I was ignorant doing so. So I decided to try Mrs sofia and ever since then she's has made about $14,000 for on every $5,000 I invested just
