- Will Harvey's Music Construction Set for the Apple IIGS (1986).
This port, released two years after the original Apple II version, made nice use of the Ensoniq sound chip in the Apple IIGS and demonstrated its stereo audio. Shown here playing in demo mode.
Captured from a real hardware based Apple IIGS (NOT emulated) with Video Overlay Card, for clean NTSC-composite source output.
0:21 - Leroy
2:25 - Fantasy
3:43 - Ubet
4:29 - Canon
6:13 - Ruddigore
7:34 - Etude
9:15 - Wacko
10:52 - Italy
13:16 - Scherzo
14:31 - Ubet (repeated; should be Xmas)
While in high school I worked at a small Apple computer store. I so enjoyed hearing this again. Thanks.
Still have an operating IIGS!
Wow! Does anyone possibly have a track list of these demo selections?
Just added one in the video description above (also added precise time indexes so you can jump to any specific song). There's 10 songs, but for some reason when I captured it, it skipped over the "Xmas" song and repeat another track. FYI - Those are the file names given by the program, there's not anything more descriptive given, though several are well known classical pieces.
Name of 1st song please?
"Leroy" (see my list above by clicking on "Show more". I listed each song name and even time index where each begins, so you can jump right to them).
