Michael Pagliaro, from Quebec 🇨🇦 songwriter, Singer and guitarist, who earlier on, wrote and recorded in French primarily. In 1971 the Canadian Radio and Television mandated the Canadian Content Rule stating Canadian content had to be played more in Canada which was a break for our bands.
When he started recording in English, he had international success. In 1975 he was nominated in Canada for a Juno Award for Male Vocalist of the Year, but Gordon Lightfoot ❤ won.
This song was the follow up to "Lovin' You Ain't Easy". Just a great tune above attaining love, fabulous guitars and a steady beat from the drums with great Beatle like vocals, made this another great tune. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Louie. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

1972. “Lovin’ You Ain’t Easy”. Another masterpiece from the French Canadian rocker Pagliaro.

Michel Pagliaro is a rock icon in French Canada. Every bar band knows J’entends frapper (I Hear a Knock). No need to understand French to appreciate it.

1971 listening too this on a summer day, riding my CCM Mustang banana seat bike with not a care in the world.
"Rain Showers" and " What the hell I've got" are absolute masterpieces as well. 👍

Louis - You have enlightened my music experiences. This is the first time I have heard of this artist. As I read through the earlier comments I see that he is a Canadian which likely explains why I haven't heard of this talented songwriter and vocalist. Enjoyable submission and a fine review, Harri.

Thanx Dave. In April Harri reacted to Rainshowers by Pagliaro. In the future I will be requesting, Loving You Aint Easy.

Harri, this was a great one. Probably Pagliaro’s most memorable English language hit. Another Quebec artist you should listen to is Gino Vanell Vanelli “ Black Cars”

In fact in Vedic culture singing and dancing both can convey vibrational messages.
Remember karma involves deeds. thoughts and speech according to Vedic culture.

He writes & records mainly in French but has had his biggest success with material released in English. Some of his hits were "Give Us One More Chance", "Lovin' You Ain't Easy", "What The Hell I Got" etc.

Hi Harri, you are a little off on the date of this one. Just like Rainshowers you reacted to in April, this is early 70's. This single was released in 1972.
