Thanks for this video! I suggest you take out the part about the camera and put it up as a separate video, because it's been incredibly helpful to me. If I didn't see your message on Flame's Discord, I wouldn't have found it.
(In general, I think it's best to make UA-cam videos about one topic as opposed to several. I often don't heed my own advice in this respect, but that's another matter.)
Cheers!
Thanks for the suggestion Filip! I am considering starting a "Component of the week" playlist similar to Flutter's "Widget of the Week". CameraComponent will be a perfect fit for that 👍🏻
Thank you for the detailed explanation of world and camera 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the video, Im trying to make a game like flappy bird and i dont want any black bars around, how can i achieve that?
Thank you for explaining how to achieve that elaborately in discord, you are best the flame game developer ive seen so far. 😉
Happy to help, always! 🙂
For anyone looking for the solution, here is link to the discord thread where this was discussed: discord.com/channels/509714518008528896/1168953550412460092
Thank you for the great instruction and extra details at the end of the video! Are you planning on having a part 4 for mobile / Android as you said at 21:03? 🤩
Thanks for watching 🙂. Part 4 will be on adding the player character and some input handling. I'm editing the video right now, so maybe it'll be available tomorrow. Video on the android setup will mostly happen at the very end of the whole series.
@@DevKage Great! 👍
How did you come up with the 19:45 color palette?
That color picker is part of the PowerToys tools for Windows: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/#color-picker
