What Geologists see when Visiting Disneyland

WHAT GEOLOGISTS SEE WHEN VISITING DISNEYLAND. In December 2022, a fan of my geologic backpacking videos, Carol Pingle, jokingly suggested that I annotate my geologic observations on a picture that I posted of Lori and me standing in front of the Matterhorn Mountain. Later, both my daughter and my wife Lori kept encouraging me to make a video of my geologic observations of both Disneyland and California Adventure. Upon completing the video, I was amazed at the geologic details that Disney’s Imagineers went to create authentic reproductions of landscapes. This video is dedicated to all the spouses and children that had to LISTEN TO ALL THE UNSOLICITED observations that geologists are compelled to share with their loved ones! This is a great idea and execution, Professor Wright. This should be shown in every geoscience class in SoCal.
