@@33greenleaf Yeah I know but he should have been better than he was based on his draft position. He should have been at least a star with the departure of Antawn Jamison in his sophomore season.
@@highlightboy23nah, just because they drafted him high? He was always a shooter at best in the nba, and that's what he was. Always had a job, played 10 years(ish)?

I think he is the definition of drafted to the wrong team. You can tell he was used to playing in stability rather than figuring things out by himself. Which he had to do in New York. If he was drafted by a team that’s known to develop players well like the spurs for example would he be better? It’s hard to tell since that’s just a what if situation. It sucks though because he definitely had nba level defense and size.
Wholeheartedly feel like if him and DSJ swapped where they got drafted to their careers would’ve been drastically different , I know they both ended up on the other respective team down the line but where you get drafted to and your rookie define a lot of your career , Frank definitely could’ve been the complementary defensive peace to Luka the next year and could’ve developed better besides him while DSJ would’ve been the highlight guard NY needed at that time and who knows maybe they would’ve been more lenient in his development if they know they took him as opposed to him being traded there in the midst of NYs worst years , still believe they were drafted incorrectly and would’ve been in totally different situations then they are now
People in the comments only blame Knicks and make excuses for him. He put in no work to improve his offensive game. He couldn't shoot, pass, or finish at the rim. Wasted first round pick

He and KP was the best two man combo on the team during his rookie season and they were a dynamic combo. Trading KP stunted him big time. They never gave him the full chance. The coaches literally gave ten other guards legit chances to start and take control of the offense, but never Frank. I was one of the last people on Ntilikina Isand. Was a shame the way it went.
As a Knicks Fan I thought he had a great chance to be a Two-Way. Til this day I believe that Frank & Kevin Knox were drafted to play along side Kristaps. When Kristaps went down with injury and then later traded there was no place for him or Kevin Knox. What plagued Frank's game was being extremely Raw & Injury prone.
Killed him too that the GM that drafted him, Phil Jackson, was fired soon after he was drafted. He wasn’t in the new GM’s plan despite having a contract .
as a knicks fan i will never let down how much all the fans and the podcasters glazed this dude like he was that dude. they even turned on emauel mudiay and trey burks because they were simply outplaying that BUM. Dude was absolute TRASH.
This is 100% on the money. He was brought over from France by Phil Jackson to play in his Triangle Offense, but that never worked out due to poor coaches - really poor coaches!
I was at the knicks draft party when they picked Frank. Everyone was clueless who he was and everyone was booing.... Needless to say his career was suspect and a terrible pick by the Knicks. Its hard to value talent when you don't have real tape of a guy. Teams still make bad decisions instead of picking prove guys. ( Most of these Gm's and upper management never hooped )
Every time I hear about Ntilikina, I think about the dumbest comment I ever read. Someone on Facebook literally said Ntilikina doesn’t get minutes because he’s “too good.” No, I did not just make that up. I really wish I had a screenshot of it.
