A bit of a life hack how to get rid of the stickers from books... You have to use the hair dryer to warm the sticker thoroughly (so glue under it will melt a bit) and get the sticker of easy. After you can clean the rest from the book cover with some alcohol. That is it.
I just really enjoyed this video and love how real you are about real-life struggles!! I feel like you address things in such a kind, tender way and not an in-your-face type of way! You’re becoming a comfort UA-camr for me 🥹
While diversity is important, it's also important to read books you enjoy. There's plenty of ways for people to learn about all types of books, so don't get down on yourself. And as someone who has battled depression, I hope you feel better. ❤
Oh my word yesssss! Please read Anne of Green Gables it is one of the best books to ever exist! Also if you like it don’t just read the first one read them all!
Thank you for your message at the end, about mental health and taking care of yourself. I've been struggling with this a bit, and anytime I try to convey it to my family they don't understand
I totally feel the same way about fantasy. I am so drawn to fantasies when I see them in the book store or read their description because they sound intriguing, but then I feel like I don’t enjoy them as much as the romances or the mysteries/thrillers that I read. I have tons of fantasies on my tbr but I keep choosing anything else. Maybe I’m just feeling the need to read fantasy because my friends keep recommending fantasies and I want to love what everyone I know enjoys…Idk. I should just read what I personally want and not worry about what others are reading so much.
Really love to see you incorporating more diversity into your reading, but don't stress about it! (: also, Claire Pooley's books are great feel-good reads. I read The Authenticity Project a few years ago and loved it, and I listened to Iona Iverson on audio a few months ago. They're both so cute and wholesome
Faith, you give the best book recommendations! I was wondering if you could do a video recommending books based on a specific feeling or theme. For example, if you feel like reading a middle grade fantasy book that’ll make you smile, read this, or if you’re in the mood for a rainy day romantic book, read this. 💖💖 I’m also feeling a bit down emotionally, but you inspired me to do bookish activities. I decorated my Kindle insert and now I’m feeling so much more refreshed. 🙏
I always have seasonal depression in the summertime rather than wintertime it’s so hard. Hope you feel better soon ❤️🩹 and I’d definitely read your memoir 😊
Sending you warm hugs💖🌷🌱🌿🫖☕🥧🍵🕯📓🖋✝♾library visits, bookshops, journaling good for the soul but being autistic myself i understand you when you feel overwhelmed and triggered in certain places, too much people etc. The importance of alone time, listening within... Thank you for being you!!!💞
I love your videos and your honesty in them. I’m really harsh rating books too. 5 stars are the best books I’ve ever read but sometimes I also think we should be more generous with 5 stars because if we enjoyed it and had a good time. Why not ya know haha
Hi! I am a new sub. I appreciate you mentioning diversifying your reading. I also try to read more diverse. Sharing a few of my fav reads that you can add to your tbr maybe. Luster by Raven Leilani, Seven Days in June by Tia Williams, Make a Scene by Mimi Grace, Forged by Blood by Ehigbor Oksun and Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner
In terms of Asian authors for diversity, I’ve enjoyed Ann Liang. From books you’ve read, I think you would like If You Could See the Sun. I also enjoy Chloe Gong who does a lot of reimaginings like her Shakespeare retellings such as These Violent Delights and Our Violent Ends.
yeah this year I decided to do a reading journal and I have a blank one. I have been terrible about keeping up with it. I am more of a list person so now I just list out things. So for next year I plan on doin one that isn't blank. Hopefully I will do better with that one. I would also like to get back to filming content but we will see. i just get bored easily. i like talking about books but being consistent with content is hard for me. I blame my anxiety and adhd.
I have severe anxiety and have known that for years and recently I was diagnosed with adhd ( in the last couple of years I kind of figured I did so no surprise) and depression. Today I felt well it is hard to explain .All that to say, I wanted to tell you thank you for what you said at the end of this video. I know you posted it a month ago but I needed to hear it today, ( Also I get distracted easily and struggle to focus on things so I get behind on watching things.) Again thank you for saying that and for all the work you put into on your content. It is appreciated!
The divergent books are SO much better than the movies in my opinion but I’d like to hear your thoughts if you ever read the books since you watched the movies first ❤ also your videos always brighten my day 😊 and I hope you know how much you’re appreciated and loved ❤❤❤
I highly recommend Every Heart a Doorway. I am not a fantasy reader, but I find that has a lot to do with the type of fantasy, I prefer fantasy to have some root in a modern or timeless setting. I'll never read ACOTAR or Fourth Wing, because that type of fantasy just doesn't hold my interest. I am so in love with the Wayward Children series though, it's fantasy but it's not high fantasy.
I just have to make a comment because Destiny Sidwell makes these comments as well about what viewers comment on her posts or Goodreads- reading is subjective so opinions that don’t match someone else’s is OKAY if you didn’t read diverse books or lgbtq+ books or whatever other genre that’s OKAY! I see too often content creators apologize for their reviews or thoughts and opinions and you guys started these channels to discuss books with other book nerds and for people to be so rude and judgmental and accusatory about what you are or aren’t reading just rubs me the wrong way. If reading diverse books makes you happy and you want to read them then I’m happy you’re diving into them but don’t do anything on our account. Love your channel and you ❤
I agree! Don’t let others make you feel bad about yourself and what you want to read, or be. If you cannot be true to yourself, if you cower down to others in fear of offending them…..why are we living? Be you and be glad you’re are unique ❤
Well said! I've wanted to put my thoughts into words ever since she posted about it, but I just couldn't express myself in a satisfying way 😅 Fatih, I admire your thoughtfulness and consideration of other people and open mindedness ❤ But what you are doing is already enough, regardless of what you're reading. We're the ones who should be thanking YOU for putting yourself out here and being incredibly vulnerable and sharing your passion with the world. Thank you!
100% agree, I just couldn't get through a book unless it's something I really truly want to read the last time I was forced to read something was when I was in school, if the story is good I will read it regardless of anything else
👏👏 well said. There are certain themes I don’t want to read in my books. Stuff I don’t agree with and will not be bullied into complying to fit other people’s narratives. Nowadays I see it a lot, were people are afraid to voice their beliefs and opinions for fear of backlash.
Why should it matter what kind of books you read or who the author is? That just seems ridiculous. I don't think people should pressure others like that. It's a free country and I'll read what I like.

Love that we have the same reading journal! I can never keep up with mine either. 😅
I’m literally SO BAD about it😂😭

Will be praying the Lord just washes away that unease with your family , and you fully enjoy your wedding!💗🙏

Been feeling a bit lower mentally today too so you motivated me to focus on some fun bookish things to do myself! Hope you're doing amazing now 💌

Where did you get that journal with the stars and stuff to rate things?
Fun video, thanks 😊 New sub! Also just have to say, omg Ollipop messes up my stomach so much but I love it 😭

yep the one I bought from Amazon has lines and prompts already in it. I do think this one will work better for me.

Stickers: Put your hair dryer on it. Takes almost no time at all to soften the adhesive and you can gently peel the sticker off.
I live 10 minutes from that library! I didn’t realize we lived in the same town!
You should try a high fantasy like Sanderson or or Tolkien!
Enjoy your videos! Where did you get your book journal? I like the idea of a prompted one. Thanks!
Wondering where the book planner/journal is from :)
Where did you get your book planner please.

I think it’s good to be picky with ratings!
loved this!!!!
Map of the Otherlands and Half a Soul are my next reads.. 4.5 stars isn't bad. But I usually get really annoyed by plot holes.
I cant believe I’m first! I love you sm ❤❤❤

hey quick question do you know if biblio or abebooks are reputable sites to buy books?

Great video. I loved The Happily Ever Afters. Because of my moving journey and packing i can only read up to 10 pages a day. Or some days. Lol.📚🧋🍉🌈🌻🏞️
I always forget about my library holds and they pass 😭
❤❤
Ha leido la Biblia? que opinion tiene?
