There is a yugituber that specialises in Drytron named LoganJYA he did the same combo you did with alpha pitch zeta! if anyone is interested also that scream of happiness frmo Lith haha but that Game against FKSE was amazing!
6:35 I think the opponent may win the duel if he/she: 1》normal summon ponix 2》use the quick spell(destroy vanity) to trigger garunix in gy 3》 then continue his play with sinfoil spoil
I did a lot of testing today, they end on vanity if they open 2 card combo, the 1 card combo ends on the new boss monster and an Ip, fafnir, or dragster
I haven't seen other people bring this up, One For One gets to be a starter for Drytron finally since Nu2 only requires being special summoned by card effect, not by a Drytron card effect like the old one.
This lock is how Drytron should have been in the first place. Herald of Perfection, Chaos MAX turn skips and EVERY RITUAL IN THE GAME shouldn't be part of its gameplan anyway. The new trap can make the new Ritual into 4 monster negates, you can leave the Xyz for a Spell/Trap negate or Mirage Lights. Doesn't directly counter Bystials but the new name is incredible support for the deck.
Any drytron name + the new one = the new ritual monster with 3 monsters on the grave through droll and nib proof , the deck has a new play to bait the droll and avoid nibiru other than summoning a fuccho and pass, thats huge
You'd think after all these years Drytron would have something better than Fucho Pass for playing around Droll & Lock Bird. At least it has SOMETHING it can do though, it's still better than ending on a near-empty board after an Ash Blossom, which is what some decks are STILL stuck doing.
You could play ensemblue robin as a better singular xyz. Also in the game he made fucho, he would have been able to play through droll if his first play was zeta add meteonis, ending on Alpha Draconids + Mu Beta Fafnir for 3 negates. Basically now the deck can competently play thru droll and nib if you sequence right.
Ritual decks will always struggle against droll since the mechanic itself requires adding a lot of cards to make up for the cost of ritual summoning, as well as searching the ritual monsters/spells
@@andrejv.2834 that’s why voiceless and this new drytron support is so good, it actually lets you play around droll, by either placing cards directly to field or playing out of the GY
What's really impressive is Nova is now a one-card combo that ends on SP/IP and the new ritual monster, so a banish and 2 monster negates + 3 cards and the ritual spell in hand. I'm very excited to play drytron like a more grindy mid-range deck than as herald turbo.
What about Noble Knights? They saw HUGE play in Duel Links, and I played them a lot, given that I play the actual deck in the tcg. They were powerful, consistent, were HEAVILY recursive, and had answers to most problems in some form.
I'm not sure about the combo you showed here. Alpha + Zeta + Nova already does whatever you want. There's no need to lock yourself out of a turn skip. The new guy does help play into interruptions and it turns nova into 2 bodies, which is huge. Drytron really struggles in hands where you only have 1 name and no beatrice access.
If they actually designed decks in a way that most duels played out like that last one, I would very happily come back to modern format again. I wish that's how the game was all the time
I'm so happy they make drytron less toxic this support are specifically build for not let people spam herald omni bullshit ,droll and bystials are still a problem but at least for bystials I think the trap helps a lot
I mean the boss is basically an Apollousa and teleport plus other Drytrons get protection from card effects destruction and I get why someone will keep think that the deck is still toxic but if you think about that was no other choice since drytron synergies so well with the heralds omni negate combo, the only choice for revive this deck was to make a a very strong boss card with the same herald level but more accessible, at least the best one card combo locks your rituals in machine, I mean konami should have think of this long ago but it is what it is
I made combo video (based on combos of a other youtuber)! You can get a spell lock + 4 monster negates + 1 summon negate + linkuriboh + Ib !!! You can also instead go for the spell lock + 2 monster negates + 1 Spell/Trap negate + 1 Summon negate + Linkuriboh + Ib😁
Good by going second and being lucky? You had to play the Natasha grind game against Snake Eyes when you don't need to. You opened with Droplets, Benten, Beta, Delta and Nova/Nu2? That's a very strong opening hand.
@@dhiaajalloul7218 I don't see anywhere they said the end board was bad. They meant the restrictions are bad, and in terms of creativity, they are. It'll just be yet ANOTHER "shit out a bunch of negates/floodgates" deck, which i thought nobody liked? S:P is the only spot removal, no anti searching, no gy banishing, no bouncing/spinning, just negates and no special summons. It's like OG dragon link w/buster lock. And good luck ever finding new tech for these play lines, as you're gonna be heavily restricted by the machine ritual line-up thanks to the new support.
@MaxLoafin drytron has always been the negate/floodgate deck, this just makes it more in archtype instead of ultimateness with 6 fairies with vanitys ruler on field
@@JaydenJiggs Yeah, as in the support didn't really change the play style at all. Like I said, no reason to be creative with the new support. The decklist writes itself. And it's just drytron with Vanity's and a bunch of negates, AGAIN. Konami had a chance to print support that could diversify their play style and bring drytron back into relevance. Instead, they just got another extender and a ritual boss you'd actually wanna summon, but it's just solemn strike on legs, AGAIN.
The last game was so much fun to watch
That last game was craaazy. They went through everything multiple times
I like this Build. Feels like you are playing Drytron and not Herald turbo.
You know Lithium hates Fire Kings when he says “in your face” lmao 😂
The artwrk in the drytron cards are soo freaking cool
My friend and I even talked about how cool the drytron archetype’s artwork looks yesterday. Just cool looking cards

I think the deck has enough searchers with the field spell and the drytron quick play, that slot might be better for handtraps or other things
Something to note is you can also still play the Magikey ritual and counter trap to play around droplet/dark ruler since he is machine!😁

@@orga7777 that's a player preference, Konami gave really good tools to stay in theme instead of abusing Benten.

Last duel was anime tier.
You cooked before I could and I thank you. I’m ending on vanity and Gerald but this is just better and exactly what I wanted to do.
Wow that last duel what the f#
I like it much more than the herald turbo version
Love that it plays their own ritual monsters

wtf? That last fight. D:
It was awesome
I wont lie to you, that last match was a lot of fun to watch. Makes you think how many interactive duels in the game will we have similar to that?
I love how konami buffs drytron but still doesnt want to give ursarctic a normal summon
Same ways they buff FK to top tier while Atlantean lies dead at the bottom of the ocean.
@nguyenphamthanhgiang8951 they are getting their structure deck R this tear i believe

Thank god they printed a great piece of support that says no Herald
Fun fact people are running bystials in fire format
Fun fact - you can side thrust and harpies feather storm if you get drolled and go into the rank 1 bird.
You're dirty.
The last one comeback tho
Amazing support for drytron, the boss monster is good and the new monster lv1 is very interesting
Doesnt this make Rastaban actually viable as a 1 of? Also what about Bright Knight?
Considering you're banishing anywhere from 2 to 4 monsters a turn, a OPT effect to bring only one back is probably not worth the space.
Thank the lord for bystials.
Imagine playing Drytron cards that allow your opponent to take an action after your turn ends (IF your turn ends, looking at you turn skip)

At least this bit isn't tacked on to ursartic.
This kinda reminds me of like an infernoble end board with like a spell trap negator and a monster negator
Deck looks amazing
Deck just got sooo much better
Honestly a bit confused on why not even 1 copy of Ursatron alpha is ran in the main deck, it's a rather good card and gets you access to nova easier
It has potential but it may contribute to more bricky hands, and it's not a lvl 1 so it can sometimes be a wasted body.
What do you think of the spell/trap searcher? The ursarctic drytron one
The first duel wow
Either limit Benten or ban ruler tbh

Time to take out Bystials again
Why are u albe to tribiut summon Ruler of Vanity? Are u not locked by the summon condition of all drytron monsters/effects?
