Great video bro. Very entertaining and insightful, Anakin's passionate strike is best used after a double parry or to finish. I personally like to use it when slightly out of attack range but the final hit will fly forward and connect as a nice way to keep up pressure when low on stamina
@@SWgamingShorts yeah I agree on that passionate strike stuff. I get a bit sloppy when I feel like I’m going to win so my passionate strikes are not always that good lol.
I have no patience for duels, so seeing you wrack up 100, plus offline training is incredible to me. I love playing blaster heroes but just don't like the Saber system in EABF2. It was really cool to see your heroes journey go from newbie to Knight so perfectly
@@Sam-iw6te yeah believe me doing the 100 duels was far from the most patients test part of making this video lol. Actually editing it probably took around 10 times as long as playing the game

My complaints is vaders bobbas and palatine's they are the worst imo and what makes it worse is when they are toxic i swear u do as much damage as u can to vader he'll choke u and then the whole time he waits and holds block till he has tge choke again and then palpatine i mostly die when im not even fighting him or in his range his lightning range goes too far then bobas ruin everything im dueling or 1v1 and they come in interrupt and start bombing me then when u go after them they wanna back off and fly away then come back just to ruin it again and then they tea bag u like bro ur literally on a jetpack and they never run out of fuel and when they do and u knock them down they sometimes still be in the air vader choke spams, boba shoots and runs, palpatine is just free kills, i wish they had sabers only hvv.

@@MasterBendu I do think it’s less toxic that people actually think but yeah definitely not all the people were great. I mean to be fair out of 100 duels I had only two people say toxic things which isn’t really bad at all. Also I would say the game is the same level of dead as it has been for the past three years which is actually pretty decent considering there almost always are full lobbies to join on American severs at least
@@katana2140 I was playing literally like a week ago and I instantly got into a toxic lobby than I got several texts from my buddy’s saying they were dealing with toxic people to be fair it was late at night so I can understand that people aren’t thinking straight but I agree it’s not to bad it literally just depends on the day imo

@@stre4knuk465 honestly just playing it for fun and not with a competitive mindset at first is a lot of fun. If you can get some friends to get the game it’s a ton of fun especially if you just immerse yourself in the starwars or goofy aspect of it. I would definitely stick to heros versus villains at first before going into hero showdown so that you can get a better handle on how the characters handle. Definitely watch some videos on tips though cause that helps a lot. Also if you can get bf2 on Xbox on PlayStation then definitely do that over PC cause pc has a lot of hackers.

Best person against Vader is a Luke. And the best person against Dooku for me is Rey. I personally hate Rey but shes good against Dooku.
@@MindBloopler I feel like Obi-wan because of health regeneration or Yoda because of the bonus health glitch and unblockable dashes are best against Vader. I don’t play too much Rey but I can see her being effective against Dooku
@katana2140 Obi-Wan is ok but Luke is more mobile against Vader. The best thing to do against Vader is throw a bunch of lightsaber attacks and dash around him using the his dash attack, and then throw him with the Force push or repulse. Repulse is better because you can jump up and do a lightsaber attack while he's in the air. It's not easy fighting Vader with Luke but I find it easier than most Heroes. I suck with Yoda so I found the easiest Hero to use when dueling Dooku is Rey. It pays off really well. I remember this toxic Dooku beat me the first time and he was spamming me on dms and I pulled Rey out and beat him.
@@MindBloopler honestly it all kinda depends on the play style of the Vader too. If he leaves himself vulnerable more then Luke is great but if he is more cautious the having that Kenobie to outlast him or Yoda to do unavoidable damage is nice

@@leytonmartin1287I remember meeting one guy like three separate times in showdown and he is easily one of if not the best duelist that I’ve fought. Definitely makes for some fun battles.

@@BoBeraser I feel like now I can take on a max Vader and beat them at least some of the time. I didn’t really get any more great duelist near the end of the video so it was kinda hard to show my improvement totally. I tried to get the guy in duel one to rematch for duel 100 because somehow the first guy was the best one but it ended up not working out
If you want a good duel I can get you someone who’s probably better than he was and some fills so the match isn’t ruined
@@BoBeraser I’ve fought a few people before that were absolutely insane and definitely better than him. I was able to hold my own against them and win about half of the time so hopefully if we were to go again it would be the same if not better

just wanna ask cuz im new to the game, how to counter sabers when using a blaster hero/villain? Do you gotta aim on the places that are vulnerable?
@@glowzerssss the most important thing when playing as a blaster hero against a saber is knowing when to roll to avoid being hit. It’s also helpful to land your knockdown abilities so that the opponent is free to hit. When sabers are blocking then it is impossible to do damage with blaster fire unless it is explosive so aiming it somewhere doesn’t matter cause it won’t go through. Of course though headshots still do more damage when their block is down so go for that if you can.

Do you have any tips or tricks for a new player? I've been trying to get better at Luke.
@@festusMA other than watching videos the two biggest tips I can give are that you have to learn how to parry to do well against decent players and that winning a duel is all about doing more damage than the opponent can regenerate. Most heroes can regenerate 250 health which is roughly the damage taken from two lightsaber swings. This means that once the opponent has taken about that much damage, getting another hit in is huge because that is health that they cannot get back. Doing this enough times will eventually whittle them down and allow you to win.

@@lulatch_kek yes and no. It’s not like a huge established thing but people will often have duels or tournaments just for fun or even sometimes for a small prize. Some people are pretty crazy at dueling like Napalm and Krispy if you want to check them out.
@@katana2140 I have no idea what rabbit hole i got into because of this video but i know wanna get good at dualing in sbfw2 since damn its fucking impressive i did not know this had actual depth to it. I always assumed that the hero modes were more to fuck around with friends
@@lulatch_kek yeah dueling is my favorite part of the game. At first it’s so unassuming and just seems like a spam fest but then you start to learn about it and realize how skillful it can be.

@@rapidfriedoomsday1092 I wouldn’t say it is a tournament. I am using general “tournament rules” as a handicap for myself to not use overpowered things in the game. It’s an actual tournament it’s more so just me fighting people I find randomly in the dueling mode then recording what happens.

@@katana2140 You did pretty decently at dueling in the whole video. I've been playing for a while in BFII and dueling and fighting against a lot of enemies in HvV are not my strong suites.
