@eileenbrooks849 yes! I ABSOLUTELY agree with you. In fact I've seen similar 1A audit videos where the police & or employees will site HIPPA laws as a reason they can't film from the sidewalk. (which is bs)
But in each of those, the auditor SAID they were just filming for content. But this guy threw out something along the lines of 'investigating fraud' & (to me) taking video of a bldg & people coming & going seems more like a simple 1A audit than an in depth piece with interviews, to spotlight wrong doing. Which I thought was a little weak & kind've skeezy.
All of the other, similar videos I've seen the auditor is fairly straight forward ... I'm here taking video / on public property/ & there's nothing you can do. (which I'm cool with it)
& I'm aware that my being cool with something is only relevant to me. I just thought it was kind've weak to throw that in.

      Agreed, follow this man’s example.
Make sure you know the law and your rights. No need to antagonize the cops and push them. Even though cops should deescalate situations, no need to put yourself in possible harm. And don’t be doing it just for clout or to file lawsuits. If a cop doesn’t respect your rights, please do file a lawsuit, but don’t make that your goal. The goal should be to educate cops and citizens who watch.
But there unfortunately are a few auditors out there who fall into the bad category who give other auditors and normal citizens trying to stand up for their rights a bad name. Bad auditors put good auditors in danger.
My only minor gripe was he was auditing a private business. Which I think is also important, but in my eyes, I think it’s more important to audit government buildings since they should know the law, whereas private businesses I can see how they may not know the law as far as filming goes.

Distain for the citizenry is a standard attitude of LEOs. Is it taught in "the academy" ??? Is it taught by senior officers to rookies that they are mentoring ??? Is it the motive behind people seeking careers on law enforcement ???
The answer seems to be YES.
God, I wish leos were taught to respect the public, rather than regard them and treat them with scorn and contempt. Is serve and protect nothing but an outdated and old fashion concept ??? Are the Constitutional rights enumerated in the constitution that they supposedly swore to uphold and protect, nothing but jokes to them ???

      @artor9175 Exactly!!! 💯 % True!!!
But I wish it ended at that. But it doesn't. They are also the product of their mental health.
Too many are bullies/cowards - as the two go hand in hand. And both the military and the law enforcement community give them what they crave. The power and immunity to bully, any even kill others, free of consequences. They're cowards. Deep down, they fear the reprocussions that their behavior might carry. And the state gives them qualified immunity.
I saw this exemplified perfectly growing up. There was a bully in my class - always trying to push me into a fight with him. The more kids there were around, the more likely he was to start his crap.
But the thing was, he never tried it when he was alone - only when he had 3 or 4 of his buddies behind him, guaranteeing I wouldn't kick his butt.
Coward. I feel nothing for him but contempt.
When he graduated, he joined the army. And guess what he became?? Military police. State power, and fellow M.P.s had his back. Got out of the Army, and went home and became.... a deputy sheriff. The pattern continues. State power, and fellow LEOs to have his back. Some things never change.
Too many cops are mentally unfit to be given the power they crave. Bullies, psychpaths, and sociopaths are drawn to law enforcement like iron to a magnet.
We need to demand that to become a LEO, a person must pass a psychological evaluation test. It's a standard practice in my industry, because my job requires I hold a security clearance.
How Much More Appropriate Is It For Someone Who Is Given Limited Power By The State To Kill Someone !!!
We can't continue trusting psychopaths and sociopaths with the power the state gives the Law Enforcement Community.

The military cannot just quit mid shift free of any type of disciplinary action or criminal prosecution like a military member would be subject to. I want to thank you so very freaking much for your videos and you teaching me about my rights. Even though I am not from the states, a lot of laws apply in my country as well. I found out the hard way that there is even something more dangerous then a cop now knowing the law and that is a citizen not knowing the law AND acting like he is a law enforcer. I was wrongfully accused of shoplifting in a supermarket by a guy who rolls sushi in that store. He had no authority at all, so I stood by my rights and refused an illegal search by this person. Wisely decided that I should film, the altercation. I started to film and the guy immediately attacked me. Pushed me to the ground and jumped on top of me. He sat on my chest for 7 minutes while pushing with his kneed into my ribs so that I could not breath. He had the store manage hold my left arm so that he could use my Android to torture me by pushing one corner of my Android into my mid chest area. After begging for air for 7 minutes the police finally arrived and the guy got off me. To make a long story short. I have an uncle that is a great lawyer, so a big lawsuit is following. I knew I was within my rights and gave the other guys enough room to also respect my rights, but the trampled all over them. Result: one charge of theft, assault, heavy assault, attempted murder, attempted homicide, deprivation of liberty. All because I knew my rights and they absolutely had no clue about my rights. The head office of the supermarket received my lawyers papers today. There will be hell to pay for them. So thank you very much for your vids and advice.
