Something or someone is braiding horse's manes, tails, and American flags. It's not the wind, and Harriet McFeely tells us why in one of the more epic Bigfoot-related stories we've ever heard. You won't want to miss this one!

We have had the privilege of meeting Harriet and going to her museum. When we arrived she said she knew we were coming. She asked where we were from and she said that the river we live near was a place where bigfoot lives. She is a true piece of Americana. Was a fun afternoon to spend with Harriet and hear her stories.

The ramifications of this story are manifold regarding the Sasquatch people, and what they do to relate to us humans. The flag braiding seems done in honor. The horse braiding, shared reverence for the horse? I believe First Nations people would have more meaningful opinions than mine on the "meaning". Their triune braid knowledge of the Sasquatch was revelatory to me. In the least, braiding is obviously a Sasquatch sign of respect.
Harriet has a good memory with much information, a great storyteller and a "people" person. A lover of Sasquatch it seems: She's a jewel. Thank you for finding and interviewing her here. People like her and others you interview, there is perhaps nowhere else such would be available to the public. I doubt corporate media would produce what you do here. Thank You!!!
Not to sidestep the interviewee but the content has revealed new levels of understanding for me of the Sasquatch people that is incredible, amazing, etc. The timing of the braiding events is just one example. The 1917 U.S. Capital flag braiding was three years into World War 1 which ended a year later. The braided flag that Harriet now has, it was flown on Veterans Days and Memorial Days. Sasquatch honoring U.S. citizens having been killed in war fighting for their country seems obvious and sincere.
My U.S. government doesn't even admit the Sasquatch people exist but yet the Sasquatch people themselves honor our fallen citizen-soldiers! Like the First Nations people, their land was taken in order to form the U.S. nation: They yet honor U.S. fallen veterans. Such seems an example of why the First Nations people use Sasquatch/ Sabe to teach respect and honesty in their Teachings of the Seven Grandfathers.
There's more I want to know about how the Sasquatch people want and do relate to we humans. Harriet wonderfully wove that braided story of great information - honoring pun intended 😁

    • @skr8674
      @skr8674 16 днів тому +2

Don't forget they have been living in these Lands wayyyy! Before any humans! And they have seen the horrors of white man did to natives!

@@chalillo2268The dead soldiers are not my solders, they are people who sacrificed their lives for their family, friends and nation. I completely agree that Sasquatch has seen how horrible humanity can be to humanity. I also agree that they are reminding our nation that they too live here.
I don't think I am the only one it makes sense to that Sasquatch takes a higher road than humanity does when it comes to respect for life.

And it may take them a long time in getting to the climax or moral if their is one. But it's so worth listening to every part of it until they are finished. Because of the various inflections of their voices in certain parts when they are conveying it. You can tell how much it means to them. Well done.

One of my teachers always said. When someone says something is weird or someone is weird it just means they don’t understand that subject or person. The unknown is usually feared. But those that understand more are never offended by being called weird, because they know ignorance is bliss and that this world is more frightening if they knew the truth. The Sabe, our neighbors, have their own meanings and opinions of what the Horse and Flag represents that they are sharing with us. The strength and weight of braids, loops and knots are just more glyphs that we can figure out, maybe duo meanings in the messages. This is their home too, and may take Meml Day and Horses to Heart. What do you think the number 3, the trinity, represents to you or to them? Why do we or they honor the death of soldiers? What does the Horse represent to them and to us? Maybe Horse is symbolic for Power. Braiding can be symbolic for Uniting. The Loop, the Circle of Life. The heavy knots maybe to weigh down the flag to prohibit it from flying in the wind, and why. Some people maybe have forgotten the true meaning of these things and that War is not the answer and maybe the way a lot of huemans honor the flag or the country or our planet isn't either. I don't think they meant disrespect. Gives us a chance at something substantial to think about.

A flash of beauty is such a awesome podcast. Every episode is like you discovered a hidden treasure. A horse to many Native Americans is a very special animal. I started my bigfoot interest thinking nothing more than some type of ape. To a untrained eye these knots would be nothing more than a mess but each knot signifies a path to bind. A horse to most predators are food, for a sasquatch they would probably make a good meal. But they braid a living hair and the significance is everything. They have to be able to see the past and future and maybe transcend dimensions. I dont know what to think about braiding a flag because they are not just some simple ape doing some remedial work for temporary entertainment. These mean something these tell our future. Such a great story

I also remember hearing somthing about Mares having their mane braided. Don't remember who was talking about it but they said it was bigfoot doing it. I think i remember another common thing is that they had recently given birth. On the show i also remember hearing them say that there was a possibility lewd acts were being done to these mares. No one seems to bring it up here in the comment section.

Such a good thing people noticed this. Especially her focus & collecting. They've made a solid knot. An open loop. A straight piece. And a braided piece. Sky, earth, man, woman, family? It means something to them special, to repeat it. A symbol. Maybe a sacred image to them?

Over the years I've had a couple horses that would get their manes braided quite tightly. Show sheen would always help me get the knots out. I always figured it was from wind and getting small sticks and briars in it. One filly I had, her tail was like a club. My dad worked on her for weeks getting it combed out.

She has a kindred soul with astute dedication to a worthy cause of discovery. A mystery to search out. One we are on the pinnacle cuspid of.
We are fortunate to have her and others alike, to include this platform which we may glean a better understanding of. That we are not alone, we do walk among, perhaps the first and last earthlings. Those who shall re-inherit the earth from mankind if we fail to except their existence and change.

When David Paulides did a serious look and study of the famous Patterson/Gimli film at Bluff Creek. He went through various filters that made it possible to see things in greater detail. He then points out that the crest or top part of her head wasn't from her skull being conical. Under a certain filter color you can plainly see she's wearing a braid.
So I absolutely believe sasquatch is braiding horses as practice for themselves. And I bet its being done by 99% female sasquatch.

I wonder if that skull at 11.20 is real? Wow!
Fascinating accounts not least the one of a native man recognising the male - female braid with God in the middle! Frankly I'm not suprised, Sabe clearly have an enviable connection with Divinity from many stories. My take is simple in that Hunuman, lover of Lord Rama 5,000 BC, who had an army of simian like 'men' was doubtless Sabe and also is reported to have had the eight siddhi powers. We see evidence of this in accounts of Sabe or Sasquach the world over exhibiting these abilities.
What a treat this video is!
    Gratitude.

She did a great job of proving that the braids were correlated with the previous flag. Also, with the horsetails and the other braids being similar, and the Native explanation but....how do we connect this to Big Foot? It still leaves that mysterious missing link you know? People can go crazy trying to prove it indefinitely. However, my husband saw Big Foot cross the Hwy!
