Looking forward to the February 14th release from Crazy Lixx! I got into their recent back catalogue and am really digging them! Of course you turned me on to them as you’ve done with many other bands so thank you for getting me into bands that flew under the radar at least in the US!
Great stuff and definitely the Doobie Brothers for me one of the most anticipated for this year. Simmons in an interview mentioned the spring which could mean a June album release which seems to be a good time to have it and tour on it there is also a documentary they are working on that he mentioned, they did have one over a decade ago but they have tons of footage and also a lot changed in the last decade for them.
Jon Oliva had a DUI arrest in 2023 didn't he and he's had various health issues that you referenced. I agree that I think this is what has delayed the release of the new Savatage.
Yes as I said he has had “health issues and trouble with the law”. I didn’t feel it was necessary to be specific with what the issues were considering their negative. I try to keep things positive as much as possible.
Hey Brendon ! Two questions, do you always buy brand new cds does it matter to you , and do you make copies on empty cd r cds for the stuff you listen a lot? That’s what I’m doing and using in the car I don’t want to scratch my favourite albums and carry them around. Cheers
No I buy new and used. And I hate burned CDs. The whole reason for a physical collection is to have the full complete album packaging and art. Whether in house or in my car. 👍
