A Failed Attempt - That's Racing

A massive fail on my part. A month of preparing for racing at altitude, interval training, no alcohol, change in diet, all comes down to a rock and a rim. This race was key, as with the battle for the overall title being so tight, a cancelled race and the two throw out race rule, I had to win this race to take the overall. I was there, I had the pace, but it was not meant to be. A hidden rock took out my rim, without a mark on my DH Maxxis tire. Next time Miracle Mile.

The lap after I finish that race I popped my tire and just got fixed and when on my first ride and as of rn I’m siting at my local trails with a fucked up rim waiting for my mom to pick me up
