As other already said, thanks so much for this amazing, comprehensive tutorial! I was at a (free) community beginner Hustle dance class for one hour -with exchanging partners and music to practice, I found it compressed too many patterns in one hour without ensuring the basic patterns are well learned. Other online YT tutorial videos don't count out loud the (syncopated) steps, and especially the Follower's steps were not adequately explained. Subscribed! 💙

Excellent tutorial! I am learning this with my husband. I wish you could do the video with a pair of pants that the left leg is a difference color than the right. The black pants make it hard to distinguish which leg is which as we watch from our phone on a shelf. We will keep watching as we learn this one. Again, excellent tutorial.

Hello! Hustle and Salsa have very similar technique and patterns, and some overlap in common stylings too. That's one of the reasons we encourage Salsa dancers to learn Hustle. They should find those aspects an easy transition. However, in Hustle both partners break back most of the time, not forward, and the timing is &123. Not 123, 567. So timing and basic rhythm foot pattern are very different.
The lessons don't mean much if one can't relate to the music played and how it applies. I wish you'd do the end part to music. Otherwise very good lessons and easy to learn. Thank you.
Hi Ricardo, we totally agree! Unfortunately, UA-cam blocks many videos with music. We've learned the hard way. We've spent days and hours making several videos, producing them, then they got blocked because of music rights claims. We are starting to make some videos with "rights-free" songs....but those songs are not quite the same as all the incredible popular music we dance to at the studio and dance parties.
