Oh that may very well be the case. I'm not discrediting their abilities, just the fact that smacking a wall twice has gotta hurt your confidence at least a little. But nonetheless the poor guys must be walking away with their tails between their legs, even just a little.

It's not the real one the way you can tell is the real one has a full set of gauges under the dashboard in the center and a 4 point roll cage this one doesn't.

didn't let the rear wheels do the turning. wasn't feeling the weight of the car. absolute horrible attempt at a tip in. last time I checked understeer is caused by incorrect weight transfer , too much braking, too much speed, not enough rear wheel speed. not from lack of steering. did azn honestly expect the car to turn just with more steering. every burnout nut on the planet can see what went wrong.

I drift as a hobby so feeling the weight of the car isn’t much of a problem, just feel a bit iffy trying it without knowing the basics of it.

@@wtfisthis2316 yea in a skid you gotta turn the vehicle by sliding the rear not relying on front traction, as soon as he let off the burnout and locked the front he was under steering into the wall, noob error, RIP. what he should have done was keep the rears spinning, enter the turn with minimal breaks and spin the rig in the spot ye hear.

Most skid cars don't have power steering, He went in too fast without enough power. The majority of the steering is done with the back off the car.
Pretty sure it's a lookalike. For what it's worth it's pretty difficult to spin a 5000lb truck around, but he did fuck it all up.

Daniel Brealey I do agree, ALOT of people here can't do burnouts to save there lives. There are some who can, but you do have these clowns to represent us lol. Burnouts are one of the few things Aussies are good at.
OGskunkMASTA It is something we took from it's roots of street skids into a semi- professional sport. The shit (these are big time burnout events that are lead up events to the Summernats- this is how guys qualify to be allowed to enter the qualifying round for the big show in the burnouts at the 'nats) goes on prime time TV now, I'm not kidding! That's a really big deal over here. It shows how accepted by the masses it really is now. I like Farmtruck and Azn to be honest. I think they are some of the most down to Earth people on their show. I also like how their shit is proper street shit and isn't trailered everywhere like a princess.

Yah what you get when you want to compete in an area you're totally not familiar with.
He also tries to make an excuse "power steering man" BULLSHIT lol, if they run the original GM pump ( i am sure they do) as they normally drag so it's more then good enough. It will never be fast enough to make those sharp recovery turns si you rely on throwing that ass around hard enough. I know this because my blazer crashed in similar fashion (radiator busted had to get on a trailer hauled home) and i got only 500hp or so to put down. So imagine with this thing....cool event, but do not make stupid excuses about the pump. The idea is to let the rear do all the work, got dick to do with steering. I tried it and i failed, least you can do is man up about it....

Dont worry people, This is not the real farmtruck. It's the replica they built at a technical school in Australia for the burnout competition. The real farmtruck has a much bigger engine with two carbs and nitrous lines and everything. Also the real farmtruck has no inner fender wells. Look it up, the build is on UA-cam

Nobody can drive when the power steering stops working. When that happens it simply is not like driving a car without power steering, the whole steering seizes up and you cannot turn it at all.
It’s not THE actual truck, ass. It is a truck that was bought in Alabama by “Farmtruck” and shipped to Australia for an auto repair school to build with their help and guidance. That is not the race truck. 🙄

I restored cars,rebuild engines and dirt track raced,circle track raced,road raced,rallye raced and drag raced in my life....I even took my 4x4 in the Rocky Mountain Trails and Desert !! So,I have done it all automotive..and can drive with extreme skills...And can drive in snow with bald tires,no thats a tough job and takes skill..Wet snow not the colder dry snow on a Mountain road in a drum brake car that one wheel grabbed more than the other,to do that and not crash or get stuck is a skill,this was when I was a teen..
But sitting there and holding the brake and going in circles just is very lame ,but if its what you like go for it..But just dont say because you sit holding the brake / line lock and go in circles you or your country is the best because of low skill driving and going in circles,pretty lame !
At 2:22 seein the farm truck like that... reminds me of my first chevy truck. But mine was green an has a SB327 an a 4 speed granny low stick. Paid 400 bucks at a scrapyard an my buddy had a red shortbed that was wrecked in the rear an i bought the front clip off it fer 50 bucks an a box of 12 gauge lead shard shots. After i put the front clip on mine an rebuilt the SB327 an the tranny an rear axle. Replaced the old steering an suspension with parts from a 88 GMC one ton truck with no cab drivetrain or bed. Paid 90 bucks fer that parts truck. Eventually i had myself a strong stump ripper. One yank an that stump an those roots are comin up.

Everybody who is saying they can't drive should go back to 3:00 when he stated the power steering failed. When power steering fails, it does not become manual steering. It becomes 30x's harder to steer than manual steering. My power steering went on my minivan back in highschool, and it took all my might to get around bends on the way home. Imagine what its like in a full-framed pickup.
